“I’ve been to the DTLA Arts District location so many times, so I was shocked (in the best way) to discover this one so close to home. The space is modern, clean, and has a cool vibe — though I still lean toward the unique Arts District atmosphere. What really stands out is the pizza: same incredible quality as DTLA. Blindfold me and I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference.

The only thing to keep in mind is that pizza by the slice can add up — if you’re thinking of grabbing more than two, a fresh pie might be the smarter move. Either way, I’m thrilled to have another amazing spot nearby!“

“Need a perfect spot to chill x coffee? Cielo is the place. It's a new and spacious coffee shop in the heart of San Marino. Its Latin inspired menu and perfectly brewed coffee drinks makes it a good addition to the neighborhood. Similarly, they offer wine and beer for customers. And a free wifi.

The UNIT B's former two vendors were also coffee business shops - sadly they didn't last that long. Hopefully with Cielo would last longer. I came early Sunday morning to try their breakfast: chicken pesto sandwich and cafe de olla. Food was good and coffee was perfectly brewed. Prices seem fair. Staff was professional. Service was on point. Street parking and a rear parking lot are available.

“I don’t know how ‘hidden’ of a gem this is - but it is a gem. Such a unique place seeing as the only other one in the world is in London. Food is stellar and there are both British and American options on the menu. The display of motorcycles creates a fun atmosphere. There is a shop, barber, tattoo parlour, and display room for motorcycles as well as many other places to hang out here. Must visit if you are an auto or motorcycle enthusiast while in LA“

“When my omnivorous husband likes a plant-based restaurant as much as I do, then I know it’s legit. The food here is fresh and delicious. We’ve tried several things on the menu but, because we don’t live nearby, we make the drive when I have a specific craving - #24, the vermicelli bowl. It is a perfect dish served by kind people at a very reasonable price. It’s always followed up by a complementary portion of dessert, a warm concoction of tapioca & coconut milk whose appearance belies its soulful, comforting, grandmotherly goodness.“

Chef Takeda brings an incredible mix of precision, warmth, and traditional technique that makes every course feel special. We also appreciated how balanced and approachable the menu is, with a nice mix of warm and hot dishes. The experience never feels intimidating and the food is beautifully prepared with absolute care. Gives you 6 mini tacos with home made tortillas. For about $11. ? even my kids who are picky loved this place! Service was awesome. We were still craving another sampler (we all shared some) and the server who brought our food said that there was no need to wait in line again… she took our additional order from our table, and brought the credit card reader out to us!!!
