“This guy is an Italian genius when it comes to food! The combinations of flavors he comes up with would rival any great Italian chef. I met him while selling at a local farmers market a while ago-during or right after the pandemic. Restaurants were closed and he needed a way to support himself and to carry on his love of cooking and, thankfully, he came up with this business plan. “We used to eat here almost weekly when my son (20+ yrs ago) was in school then our schedule changed. We drove by and remembered how delightful our dinners were and ordered take away. It was better than we recalled! My husband and I shared their hot and sour seafood soup. It is packaged in three parts so everything is fresh when you’re ready to eat. My husband had the fried chicken and I had fresh rolls. We have enough for a couple more dinners—the portions are generous and everything is so fresh. Being able to heat and assemble the soup is a great help—we can tailor our bowls to our preferences and each bowl is as fresh as when we brought it home. Service is polite and friendly. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Can’t wait to start up our tradition again.“

The "fried chicken" crafted from oyster mushrooms was a standout, mimicking the savory satisfaction of traditional chicken, even my grandfather loved it. The vegan pasta Alfredo showcases their skill in creating flavorful plant-based dishes as well. I love that the menu continually evolves, Veegee's impresses as a top-tier vegan spot, rivaling even the best in LA.“

I am not an expert or Indian food aficionado. However, I love the taste of their food and the girl I spoke with over the phone was very sweet!“

“I went in the early afternoon and there were still 3-5 types of vegan muffins. It looked like they were all cornmeal based. I got the apricot one, which tasted mostly like a regular corn muffin. Even though the apricot wasn't prominent, I still enjoyed it and would like to try the others.“

“the food here is amazing and the service was fantastic all the food tasted homemade and was delicious we got a serving of their Mac and cheese best I've ever had, ordered the 10 piece bbq chicken wings in mild, perfectly cooked tender and the sauce was extremely flavorful, the chicken Ceasar salad was perfect with homemade croutons, and the New York cheese cake was to die for“

“Finally made it here and I was impressed. I ordered a custom turkey-avo-swiss sandwich with lots of extras. First things first, they got my difficult order 100% correct! It was thoughtfully built with ingredients assembled evenly with edge to edge spreading of the condiments. It was wrapped neatly and then cut in half so it didn't fall apart in my hands. The flavors were fresh, meat and veggies all had a good flavor pop.Service was very friendly, our tables were clean prior to us sitting down and the sandwiches were delivered timely to us at our table. Very nice and appreciated these days when it seems like counter service ends with your cc signature.Nice that it's open Sundays too.Why not 5-stars?1) I think a few more signature sandwich menu items would be helpful. I know small menus are a trend but I feel like 6-8 options for hot and cold each would cover a few more bases (ex tuna salad/ tuna melt, some turkey or chicken without bacon, caprese, Reuben, roast beef & brie, etc)2) I think not having a sourdough roll is a miss or simply a roll with a crunch/ crusty exterior (dutch crunch, French roll, focaccia etc). The sweet roll on my sandwich held the sandwich back from it's full potential.“

“Food is consistently delicious. The staff is always great to me and this is staple lunch place for me. I love sitting in the window with comfy seats. They always have great art on the walls and they have delicious healthy food options. A great place to eat in Downtown San Rafael.“
