“I gave it 5 ⭐️ for the fact that it’s a place I would definitely comeback and eat at. The food is not 5 ⭐️ but overall it was good and authentic and for the people saying it’s not they are probably super they didt have ground beef lol.“

“I ordered the fajita combo plate. The steak and vegetables were tasty and the meal included fresh tortillas, rice, beans, guacamole, a few chips, a little bit of salsa, and a drink. They even added some jalapeños to give it some extra spice. The staff were helpful and nice. The seating was arranged towards one side of the dining area, so there was a fairly wide space between the kitchen area and the tables in the dining area.“

“Great place for a quick lunch and cheap lunch. Honestly finding a place serving a decent burrito for less than 15 dollars in 2025 is short of a miracle. They even have daily specials rotating depending on the day of the week.
Food is well seasoned and they have chicken mole as a meat option.
Service is super fast. Even when busy you don't have to wait for more than 3 minutes for food.“

“Ordered a brisket burrito with all the fixings for $12 from the self-order kiosk. Pretty good price for a swanky mall. Yes, there are $10 burritos in downtown but that's rare and usually from a taco truck. Some meats do cost extra here though. The menu has a surprisingly fine variety. There are chimichangas. 😃 They also sell quesabirrias for $16 which comes with the side of broth. I tried it and thought it was decent.
The whole place was very bright and sparkling clean with a view of the pristine and new mall that it's situated in.“

“Thank you employees at Pollo Loco in Santa Clara for taking care and being so kind to my dad 'Jerry' who was so a customer every couple of days for his "classic burrito" that he enjoyed so much and said was nutritional for him. I saw when he would walk in they would always say hi Jerry, how are you today? Thanks for being so kind to him. Kay“

“Veggie grande tacos (without rice since it isn't vegetarian) are SO delicious. My husband loves the enchiladas suizas. Other dishes are great too, and the ladies who work there are really sweet.“

“MONDAY FOOD REVIEW...PUESTO...6/17/24! After leaving California's Great America, we stopped for lunch at Puesto, a Mexican/American restaurant, located at 2752 Augustine Dr., in Santa Clara. This restaurant features Mexican dishes with an American flare infusion! I had their their Shrimp a la Plancha, which is Mexican shrimp, garlic butter, red onions, jalapeños, guajillo chile, avocado, and Tamarindo-chile sauce, and it comes with herb lime rice, black beans, and blue corn tortillas. This was absolutely fabulous!!! It wasn't your typical Mexican dish...the different ingredients they used to create this dish all blended together VERY well!!! If you are looking for a little something different to satisfy your Mexican food craving, and want some added flair, then this is THE restaurant to go to!!! I HIGHLY recommend it!!!! My rating: 10++++“
