“We had dinner here recently and the service was amazing. My husband and I ordered two combination boxes and the waiter accidently input our ordered wrong. He added an additional item we didnt order, he was very apologetic and gave us the item on the house. We discovered we love scallops and tuna. Im not a big seafood person. I usually stick to the basic California rolls. When I tell you this plate was amazing, you best believe we ate all of it! Thank you to the amazing server for showing us kindness ❤️ we will definitely be returning to discover new items on the menu!”

Today we had one of the most amazing culinary experiences at Sister’s Asian Eatery. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and exceptional service that set the tone for an incredible meal.

As vegans, it’s often a challenge to find places that cater thoughtfully to our dietary choices—but not here. Sister’s offers a variety of vegan options, and you can truly tell they care about how the dishes are prepared.

We started with the Vegetable Tom Kha, a coconut-based soup that was perfectly balanced—creamy, tangy, and aromatic, with fresh vegetables and just the right amount of spice.

The Vegan Panang Curry was a standout—rich, flavorful, and deeply comforting, with a velvety texture that paired beautifully with steamed rice.

We also tried the Soft Tofu Vegan Pad See Ew, a stir-fried noodle dish that hit all the right notes: savory, slightly sweet, with tender tofu and perfectly cooked flat noodles.

To top it all off, dessert was a dream—the classic Mango Sticky Rice. The mango was ripe and juicy, and the sweet coconut sticky rice was the perfect finish to a wonderful meal.

“Legit street tacos. Authentic flavor for barbacoa, cabeza, and lengua tacos. I ordered the babacoa plate to go and the rice and beans tasted just like my mom makes. The barbacoa was savory, herb-y, and tender. They were selling these big avocados at the counter for only a dollar, I bought one and they offered to slice it up to add to the tacos I ordered to eat in. Warm and welcoming owners. Great food.

“I’ve been going to Yanira’s Bakery for many years, and it’s hands down my favorite panadería in Ventura County! Their bread is always perfectly baked and absolutely delicious. The tamales and mini burritos are amazing too full of flavor and always fresh.

The bakery itself is small but always full of customers, which just shows how loved it is. The cashiers are quick and friendly, and they do a great job getting everyone attended to as fast as possible despite the crowd.

I would recommend Yanira’s Bakery to anyone looking for authentic, tasty Mexican baked goods. You won’t be disappointed!”
