5/5 – Hidden Gem in Santa Paula!

Tacos el Torazo might be a little tricky to find, but once you do, you’ve struck gold. I’ve eaten at almost every spot in Santa Paula, especially along Main Street, and these are hands down the best tacos I’ve ever had. That includes every taco truck I’ve ever tried.

I ordered two queso tacos, two carne asada tacos, and one ribeye taco, and oh my goodness… unreal. I can’t even show you a picture because I devoured them too fast! Monica was my server and she was exceptional, friendly, attentive, and just made the experience even better.

If you’re in downtown Santa Paula, do yourself a favor and find this place. You’ll thank me later. 🌮🔥”

“We had dinner here recently and the service was amazing. My husband and I ordered two combination boxes and the waiter accidently input our ordered wrong. He added an additional item we didnt order, he was very apologetic and gave us the item on the house. We discovered we love scallops and tuna. Im not a big seafood person. I usually stick to the basic California rolls. When I tell you this plate was amazing, you best believe we ate all of it! Thank you to the amazing server for showing us kindness ❤️ we will definitely be returning to discover new items on the menu!”

“I recently visited Carl’s Jr. and overall had a really positive experience. The staff was incredibly nice and friendly from the moment I walked in. You can tell they genuinely try to make customers feel welcome.

The only issue I ran into was that there were absolutely no napkins available anywhere, which was a little inconvenient. Even so, the employees did their best to help me out despite not having much they could do about the situation. Their effort and attitude definitely made a difference.

“Legit street tacos. Authentic flavor for barbacoa, cabeza, and lengua tacos. I ordered the babacoa plate to go and the rice and beans tasted just like my mom makes. The barbacoa was savory, herb-y, and tender. They were selling these big avocados at the counter for only a dollar, I bought one and they offered to slice it up to add to the tacos I ordered to eat in. Warm and welcoming owners. Great food.

“I go here to buy tamales, which are very good, but a little pricey. They have great pan dulce's, Mexican sweet breads, and lots of stuff on the menu. I recommend the pozole soup. It is only take out, however!”

After the third-party member picked up the order and did not deliver for almost three hours, I requested a refund for the melted ice cream which I received promptly. “This Dennys restaurant which is in Santa Paula has the best customer service. When we travel through Santa Paula, we stop to get breakfast. The staff is great, they make sure we get our food fast and make sure we get what we want to eat. We have not been disappointed at all.”
