“I'm not gonna lie, I've been to Redwood Cafe 3 days out of 7 recently, why you may ask, Music. They excel in music offerings, live bands, musicians, from Blue Grass, to Blues to Open Mic Jazz. It's what draws me to the place. The food is ok, the menu is a little too much, portions are pretty big, but the cooking is basic. They serve breakfast all day & night. You order food at the counter and it is delivered to you. They offer beer and wine, plenty of seating but the plastic picnic tables in the back are not comfortable but I guess good for bigger parties. The staff is great, they hustle, cleaning, serving. They have a nice selection of art on display highlighting various local artist, it's an inviting space with a patio outside as well. Check out their calendar for their events from music to art receptions, it's worth stopping by.“

“I'm so happy that you're still open during this pandemic. Your food is delicious, even my baby and toddler loved it. This time we tried the Goulash, Cevapi, Meat Butek, Mediterranean salad, and crepes, and we couldn't stop sharing our food with each other, because everything was super tasty, warm, and delicious.“

“We have been to DishDash many times and previously I have always thought of it as a 5 star place. The service is always good and the dishes are well-presented.However yesterday we ventured away from our typical dishes, Maza Sampler and Reyash. The Rihan appetizer was good but next time maybe we should try the Babaghanouge. My wife enjoyed her Tiki Kebab with Brussels Sprouts but I was pretty disappointed with my Tabsi Falafel. It tasted more like a typical American stew except with Falafels. At least the Falafels were excellent. The other two vegetarian entree choices did not look too appealing which is why I think in the past I always ended up just getting the Maza Sampler.Vegetarian options: Only three vegetarian entree options.“

“Reserved a table to celebrate my wife's birthday. I asked for a special table and they kindly accommodated my request. They seated us at the most special table there in a beautiful corner which resulted in memorable photos for us. I'd like to thank the staff again for their warm hospitality and great service. We'll go back again for special occasions.“

All the dishes we ordered are full of favor!! I used to like DishDash, but meyhouse is way better in term of the food quality! The service here is also very impressive! people are friendly and happy here! I haven't tried their Palo Alto location yet, I bet it would be a good one since it was run in the same owner.“

“The food at Mercy Mediterranean is amazing! While browsing the website of the recently opened downtown food hall, we stumbled upon this gem and promptly placed our order. We ordered the Chicken Garlic Gyro and Lamb Gyro. Our favorite dish was the Chicken Garlic Gyro. Our order was packed with flavorful chicken, fresh veggies, and creamy tzatziki sauce. This is definitely a satisfying meal for gyro lovers. The service was amazing and the employees are helpful and catering towards their guests.“

“The address is not the front of the restaurant on Lincoln. You need to park in the back, that is where the restaurant is located! This place is INSANELY good. Highly recommend the sole almondine. I’ve never been into fish and my family was fighting over this dish. Apparently it’s their best seller. Rightfully so!The angry pasta, seafood with mixed sauce, and paella were so delicious. The owner, David, is so friendly and is the genius behind the menu.“

“Excellent and filling Gyro wrap. Good amount of meat to veggie ratio, thinly sliced onions and tomatoes and the tzatziki sauce was a icy and creamy. They have indoor seating a small patio with tables, chairs and umbrellas outside which makes for a great place to sit in this amazing mid March Spring weather in the Bay Area. They Also have an indoor dining area which looked nice, but with a balmy 72F why would you want to stay inside?“

“My friend had been telling me about this place since last year and today a group of us went for lunch. Firstly, very clean and pleasant environment with kind hospitality. Irfan made suggestions and answered questions. He even taught me some Turkish. Food was AMAZING! Super tasty and fresh. We had the falafel plate, Adana kebab plate, cheese flat bread, baklava, rice pudding and wait for it... KUNEFE!!! Kunefe was not on the menu but I asked for it and they made it for us. Adana kebab was delicious! We will definitely be back and keep in mind for catering since presentation was so pretty. Thanks so much Irfan!“

“If you like Turkish food, then this is your place in South Bay area. Their lentil soup is one of the best! Adana kebab is perfect. Definitely taste gullac dessert and Turkish tea. This place could put a bit more Turkish art and decorations so that I can come with my family next time!“

“VFM 5/5This is a place mostly run by elderly folks and gives warmth and homely vibe to the place. You feel like you are taken care of here. Salmon was yummy and fresh. The kebab platter had chicken souvlaki, mutton and sausages. A bit heavy but wholesome. The gyros were huge and the fries were fresh. Overall we had a relaxed and good time. Sardines on the special was average for me.“

“I ran in for a quick to go meal before my client and for some reason my cards didn’t work. Ok first reason, my deposit didn’t clear and the card was locked for too many attempts and second bc my kid used up my tuck away money for her online games and I didn’t know this fact. One of the partners, I’m gonna say the one with the mask on (get it, that’s funny because we all have to now wear these stupid things), said, “take the food, come back when you can to not it. I will note it down and either myself or my partner will take care if you.” Ok so first is all, their foods freakin yummy and light and fresh, second, great prices and quick service but lastly and most importantly, sincere gratitude goes to you sir partner person for being so completely inspiring and caring because the reasons I had are true, there are few of us who may not look like we are needing that help and we do! I thank you for being an amazing point of positive karma in this World.“

“Got a to-go falafel wrap. It was good, with some pickled veg inside and crisp lettuce. Only thing missing was a napkin. Guess I should’ve gotten one before leaving, but I assumed they were included in the bag. No hot / pepper sauce, which I had hoped for.“

“For Valentine's Day we dined at Urfa Bistro and as always, we were thoroughly impressed. The meal started with warm, soft bread accompanied by a delicious olive infused dipping oil bursting with flavor. For the main course, we had the Rib Eye dish, perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection, accompanied by garden vegetables, mashed potatoes and Bearnaise sauce. Each bite was a delicious delight. The friendly staff, attentive service, cozy ambiance and rose for every female guest added to the overall experience, making it a memorable dining outing. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone craving authentic and satisfying Mediterranean cuisine. It's a fabulous restaurant.“

“This place is amazing for many reasons: 1) Food is very tasty; so far we tried 4 items and they all were amazing, 2) Ingredients are of high quality, veggies crunchy and fresh, etc; 3) They take inspirations from a large variety of cuisines (Mexican, Japanese, Indian, Vietnamese....). This might have been a risky thing, but World Wrapps nailed it; every dish has an unique flavor, which prevents you from getting bored with what they serve. Last but not least: service in this particular location is awesome. They inform how long we are expected to wait. Last time they were running a little bit behind, and they offered us an apology, they were updating us on soon the food will be ready, and even gave us a coupon for a free item. Strongly recommend if you want to eat something both tasty and healthy.Vegetarian options: Beyond "meat", tofu“

“This place is airy, and casual, and the dominant tone of blue surprisingly makes the place cheerful too! There is additional outdoor seating . The service reminds you of Olive Garden’s longtime slogan, “ When you’re here, you’re family.” The portions are very generous, and their moussaka was just as it should have been, a classic comfort food! The prawn dish ( I cannot remember the name)that we had ordered was hearty, bright, and packed with flavors! Of course, I would be a regular!“

Overall, Falafel Flame stands out as a must-visit destination, promising not just a meal but a memorable culinary journey supported by exceptional service.“

“As you can tell by the >5700 reviews this place is the most deserving of 5 stars out of all the eating spots on Google Maps.To start with they prepare vegetarian orders in a kitchen kept completely separate from where meat orders are prepared. I'm not a vegetarian but I still think that says a lot about how they take care of customers. Every single employee I encountered was so friendly and welcoming. It really reminded me of the family owned food stands in Hawaii. Everything is so fresh, beautifully presented and soooo reasonably priced it really is a tremendous value. It wasn't the Middle Eastern/ Mediterranean I'm personally used to but I was still very happy with everything I ate. They put lentils in their rice so you get plenty of fiber mixed in your carbohydrates. My favorite: The Pita bread. Damn!I'm sure the pickiest eaters on the planet would be happy with their food from Falafel STOP. My new favorite restaurant!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian orders are prepared in a separate, meat free kitchen.Parking: They are so busy the parking lot is a little hectic“

“Really delicious food in a very nice setting. As a vegan, it was really great to be able to try a vegan version of one of the main dishes. The complementary pickles and sauces are a very nice touch, and raise the authenticity a notch. The main dishes are relatively expensive, BUT they are generous, and if you can see in the photo, very finely seasoned! A main plate with a choice of two sides! I definitely ended up with leftovers. I just wish they had a vegan version of their borekas, and maybe a vegan version of topped style hummus. In addition to the pickles and extra tahini on request, one other point I was very impressed with is the bread - freshly made and very fluffy, not the boring bagged/frozen kind you normally find in American Mediterranean restaurants. Falafel was Goldilocks: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, not too dry, not too oily. The staff was very kind and attentive, but be aware it's in a busy area and the restaurant gets crowded, it may not be your best option if you're in a rush. Having said that, I enjoyed chilling out on the patio, slowly enjoying my food on a sunny day without being rushed.Vegetarian options: Vegan kebabs“

“I got the mix platter which was pretty expensive ($40) but oh boy all the different meats were amazing and on point. Would definitely go again for the meats.Service was a bit tricky with a few different waiters taking orders and bringing stuff, sometimes mixing things up. We all got the right food and drinks in the end but it could have been smoother“

“You can't get better than this. The place is super clean. Easy parking. Friendly lady at the counter. And the Gyro I ordered was the best I've ever had. AMAZING! I ordered the Super Gyro. Omg. So delicious!!! Added... Greek fries are wonderful! But my gyro on a Monday evening was dry... the meat also tasted left over/ not fresh... and crazy salty. Won't change my 5 star rating based on this, unless this happens again.Vegetarian options: Great falafel for vegetariansParking: Plenty of free parkingWheelchair accessibility: Yep... it is.“

“I had the chicken masala with rice and it came with a potato and I believe Greek salad? Something like that it was an entree at lunch and it was outstanding. I've driven by this place a million times and never stopped and my car was getting repaired across the street and I finally made it inside and was not disappointed. The gentleman that runs the place is very very nice. The food was enough to fill me up which you don't see often sometimes these days. I would recommend it absolutely.“
“I am a HUGE fan of 365 Mediterranean! My company orders from them often via Relish and I always look forward to having them on the menu. Their portions are always large and the food is always delicious! Highly recommend checking out 365“

“I'm fairly accustomed to eating Mediterranean, as I've gone to many places before. I can say that this one is easily the best place to go. Their garlic feta fries were so crispy on the outside and perfectly soft on the inside. The pita is BEAUTIFULLY soft. Easily the softest I've ever had! “Nice casual setting. We ordered to go but ended up eating right there. Parking is across the street in the parking lot... can be tricky to find parking at times as it's mostly full. Ordered the pomegranate chicken bowl. It similar to the chipotle concept where you can opt for as many or as little things. I opted in for every single item there (except multiple meats, of course) It comes on a bed of turmeric rice and mixed greens. Got both egg plant and sumac cauliflower as the hot toppings ( these were the highlights- buth are exceptionally yummy). Then the tzatziki, hummus and garlic spread. Then tomato/cucumber mix, garbanzo beans, diced beets, sumac onions, pickles and cabbage, cherry peppers. Added the mint sauce and spicy tahini sauce. When you order in store, it comes with a bowl of lentil soup. The bowl easily lasts for 2 meals for me. And all this for $16 including taxes!“

“This is an upscale hotel bar that I visited while staying here. They have a good burger and a good selection of drinks available. “Delicious well priced food with great service. We came across Tamra Mediterranean Grill when looking for local takeout during my recent trip to Saratoga. We ordered the dinner for 4 (beef skewers, rice, salad, hummus and pita), Branzino and Baba Ganoush. Everything was absolutely delicious. Beef doesn't always do well in takeout but it was perfectly cooked, seasoned and tender. You wanted to savor the flavors in every bite. My local friend wondered why they hadn't frequented this restaurant before.Typically in my travels, I want to try as many different places as possible but occasionally you have a meal so good that you need to go back one more time. So when out with another friend visiting the area, I had to go back - this time for dine in. In addition to some of my favorites from the day before, we tried the Lamb Moussaka. Moussaka is something I hesitate to order as the quality can really vary. But this was melt in your mouth delicious - a must order. Dining in service was above and beyond (see my side note on their accommodation of dietary restrictions). While there are many restaurants on the East Coast with similar menus (some better than others), Tamra Mediterranean Grill will top my list of restaurants to go to when in Saratoga.Dietary restrictions: After placing our order - I learned my friend had a recently tested positive for an allergy to sesame seeds - which we learned was in every dish we had ordered. Despite the late notification, the restaurant was beyond accommodating and in fact, unnecessarily apologized for not asking about dietary restrictions (like it was their mistake, not ours, which was not the case). They were able to make everything without sesame seeds and provided the omitted seasoning/sauce for me on the side. Still delicious.“
