They weren't incredibly busy when i came, it was just me and a couple so the service was immaculate. you MUST get a dog to get the full experience 😆. if youre a fan of Primus, they have their old tour bus on show and you can purchase some merchandise as well. my favorite was the Sonoma Coast Rosé, i took a bottle home for myself.”

“A little gem in downtown Sebastopol. Birthday dinner for 2. Started with mixed marinated olives and grilled trumpet mushrooms - a bit spicy yet nicely balanced. Then the melt-in-your-mouth airy light tempura fried squash blossoms with fresh heirloom tomato sauce and Parmesan Next the red gem Caesar - super savory and generous serving for two to split. The main course - grilled 10 ounce hanger steak with the uber yummy crispy potato pave and point Reyes blue cheese. A small yet carefully chosen wine list featuring local favorites. And to top it off a super scrumptious pavlova - a delectable crispy meringue bowl filled with tangy lemon curd, paired with a blueberry compote. Our charming server Jessica was on top of the timing and paced our meal perfectly.”

Now the ice cream flavors are on just one electronic screen right by the cash register and it’s really high. As in Really HIGH. Lots of small print. I was wondering what kind of neck damage I was incurring while trying to read the menu. The group behind me had some little kids and the adults were having a hard time trying to read and translate (what’s lavender?) the list to them. Or, if you prefer a QR code, it’s also right next to the cash register. Don’t forget your phone! In other words, everyone who hasn’t seen today’s menu before they arrive will be stuck trying to figure out their order while standing next to the cash register, peering at a complex menu, creating a traffic jam and longer line. Please, Mimi’s, don’t have the list so high and don’t put it just before the cash register.”

“Tiny restaurant making big waves!

Never have I ever tried food or wine from Georgia, but I’ve been converted to a regular. The food is super simple, but make no mistake the dishes coming out of this kitchen are packed with flavor and done up. I tried dumplings, sautéed mushrooms, and a wrap. Every dish was like exploring a different part of Georgia and with each bite I got to see this cuisine is about transforming simple ingredients. I’d happily re-order everything I tried!

Georgian wine is unique unto itself. From what I understand the wine is made using a very old method of burying clay pots. There isn’t much processing or filtering, so the end product is very viscous. I enjoyed it, especially as a first time experience, but I don’t think it’s for me.

The restaurant itself has a warm, quant feel. The staff were extremely inviting and happy to explain the menu as well as the wine.

It’s absolutely delicious and a household favorite. Starbucks is across the street so I think people tend flock there more. “The lady that runs this place is great :) She always makes you feel at home. It’s really dark inside and i like it that way. Mixed crowd that all get along just fine. The drinks are really reasonably priced. The BEST jukebox around. It has everything new and old. There is an old Star Wars pinball machine, a couple of pool tables, a shuffleboard? game, a small train that makes its rounds above your head for only 25 cents, and surprisingly nice restrooms. I love it here. It is my favorite local watering hole. When i drink a little too much, get a little loud and rowdy, or start making out with my girlfriends, they don’t even mind. Lindsay was very cooperative about having me drop off decorations and centerpieces which they set up while we were at the rehearsal. I especially appreciated all of the staff recognizing what an important night it was and doing everything in their power to make it special. I would happily host another event there.”

The staff were very friendly and the food was amazing. I am not sure why we haven't come sooner. We will be back again very soon. Thank you to the staff and owners for having the perfect spot for us to get out of the rain and for the best burger and fries.”
