“A true „3rd place“. Always fun to enjoy great pop-up food, they have almost every weekend. Staff is really knowledgeable about the wines and many of them are winemakers themselves or have been in the industry a long time. Not at all pretentious, this is a welcoming place for even the casual wine drinker. They‘ve converted me to natural wines and now I’m a member of their approachable wine club. Also great selection of gourmet food items, bread and empanadas most days to go with the wines and tinned fish.”

I rarely do updates, but seeing as how exceptional barbecue is few and far between at a reasonable price in the Bay area, I decided to stop by here again on my way up to the Russian River not too long ago. The ribs were flavorful and fall off the bone tender, still a little pepper forward for me in terms of the rub, but I really enjoy the cook on these ribs, the Carolina gold sauce is outstanding! shortly before arrival my buddy told me that I needed to get my hands on these oxtails ( Make sure you get the chimichurri) boy was he right, tender,flavorful and juicy, Great smoke,great flavor, fat was nice and rendered, super meaty. Probably one of the best oxtails I've ever had. In terms of the sides, while you are here you have got to try the macaroni and cheese, it is thick, rich, super cheesy, super creamy and has a nice subtle kick of spice, the potato salad is flavorful and not as mayonnaise forward as most of the potato salads that you are probably used to with a touch of sweetness and some fresh dill, this one is a can't miss! upgraded to four stars.”

“Yes, I recommend Screamin’ Mimi’s, but after today’s visit I may need a new neck. SM’s has always had at least 2 easy-to-read menus viewable, at least one inside and one outside. Not now. Now the ice cream flavors are on just one electronic screen right by the cash register and it’s really high. As in Really HIGH. Lots of small print. I was wondering what kind of neck damage I was incurring while trying to read the menu. The group behind me had some little kids and the adults were having a hard time trying to read and translate (what’s lavender?) the list to them. Or, if you prefer a QR code, it’s also right next to the cash register. Don’t forget your phone! In other words, everyone who hasn’t seen today’s menu before they arrive will be stuck trying to figure out their order while standing next to the cash register, peering at a complex menu, creating a traffic jam and longer line. Please, Mimi’s, don’t have the list so high and don’t put it just before the cash register.”

Disgusting, unhealthy, and inhumane factory farms and major produce- ridden with pests and GMO sickbess- wholesalers. (Sysco, buyrite and jetro)

Americana has real food. Not from a far long chain supply coming from all over the world, but from here in their county. Locally sourced, no seed oils, no poisons. Just regular normal and real food. Eat with ease and confidence knowing that your food will be nutritious, filling and tasty wonderful.

I ordered three street tacos—chorizo, chicken, and steak—and that steak taco? Buddy… it tasted like someone grilled the most excellent steak known to mankind, whispered words of encouragement to it, motivated it to reach its full potential, then sliced it into bite-size greatness. The salsa inside? So good I considered taking it home and introducing it to my family. My son ordered the happy hour cheese quesadilla, which came out perfectly toasted—crispy golden edges, soft cheesy center. Basically a work of art Picasso wishes he painted. Then we shared the habanero wings, which came with a medley of tomatoes and sliced cucumbers so fancy it felt like they were auditioning for a cooking show. The dressing? Absolutely delicious. I briefly thought about drinking it like a tiny salad smoothie. I didn’t… but I thought about it. In conclusion: If you’re not eating at The Hole in the Wall, are you even living? 🌮🔥🍗”

“If you are looking for an down to earth winery experience with exceptional hospitality, look no further. From the moment we arrived, the owner greeted us with incredible warmth and enthusiasm. Mike was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, without being stuffy.

We were treated to a quick walk through the vineyard, which gave us a fantastic look at the vines up close while taking in the spectacular, panoramic views of the surrounding hills.
As for the tasting, every single pour was top-notch. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire lineup, but the Grenache was the absolute star of the show—vibrant, wonderfully balanced, and unforgettable.

As far as the wines are concerned, I had 6 + 1 2019 from the Library. The differences in profile and taste were striking and with such a beautiful view and setting, it is impossible not to like the wines.

Personnally the Wendling Block E Pinot Noir pleased me the best but Charles Heitz vineyard was a damm fine wine as well !

I really appreciate that the body shop is in a separate storefront because I’m especially sensitive to fragrance and incense. No headaches when I shop at this Whole Foods!”

The product is made with liquid nitrogen for added smoothness, and I am partial to the berry/crisp/cookies/cream flavors, but Smores, Thai Tea, Vanilla and variations on chocolate get high marks with our crew.

“I had zero expectations coming in. Just looking for a satisfying lunch. Came in on a Sunday afternoon and the place was empty. I heard someone in the back and said hello. The man was busy setting up by himself so couldn’t come out right away. I assume he’s the owner. Very nice and friendly, sat us right away with menus. Ordered the fresh shrimp rolls to start—they were awesome with the excellent peanut sauce. For mains, the pad Thai with chicken, larb salad and the pad see ew. All came out fairly quickly with generous portions. Each dish was super flavorful. I especially loved the pad Thai and larb. The owner/server was attentive and frequently refilled our waters. And I love how Godiva chocolates come with the check :) Great meal experience here, thank you!”

The drinks are really reasonably priced. The BEST jukebox around. It has everything new and old. There is an old Star Wars pinball machine, a couple of pool tables, a shuffleboard? game, a small train that makes its rounds above your head for only 25 cents, and surprisingly nice restrooms. I love it here. It is my favorite local watering hole. When i drink a little too much, get a little loud and rowdy, or start making out with my girlfriends, they don’t even mind.
