“This place is pretty decent. All I really get here are fish and shrimp tacos. And I think those are pretty darn good. If I'm going out on a limb I get a bean and cheese burrito. No fluff, no nonsense, just a burrito to the dome that makes me fart. 🙂 Anyway, I think it serves better food than the other place in Sierra. Madre that's just my opinion. Service is fast and there's some good people working here. So come here eat a fish taco and shut up. Love, me. 🙂😘“

“Very authentic and delicious Sichuan restaurant. The sauerkraut fish is their specialty and definitely worth trying. The portions are quite big, we were able to share the single sauerkraut fish dish between two people. You order on your phone and they bring out the food, and all of the utensils and napkins are in a little drawer at your table. Very clean interior and the staff are always ready to assist when needed. They also have fortune sticks which are fun.“

“Love this place, pleasant spacious interior. Thoughtful bar program, delicious N/A options. Caesar salad is delicious - anchovy heavy, which I love. Dry-aged ceviche needs more fish. That’s my only complaint. I had sea bass prepared in a German inspired style with sauerkraut, pan fried sausage, and potatoes. It was delicious!“

“The food was excellent. The food far surpasses the service. Let's begin with the Buffalo shrimp, which were perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. An excellent take on wings seafood style. The seafood caldon especal was full of flavor, perfectly spices even though it has jalapeño in it bring back a sense of being on the beach. The Capechana was high quality and the delicious. The chef not only an excellent cook but took part of the service. The Michelada base alone is memorable and wanted to buy a gallon of it. The waitress was professional but needs to elevate her service skills, one attention to the client was very slow, there was no effort to explain the menu, little initiative to attend out table.“

I ordered for 2 people, 1000 year pork, crispy fried shrimp, stir fried clams with ginger sauce and Kung Pao scallops. The 1000 year pork was a little chewy, normally it should melt in your mouth. The ginger clams and scallops had no flavor at all, we had to spice it up ourselves. It tasted like it was just boiled in water. The steam rice was soggy and looks like it’s been steamed way too long. The only thing I enjoyed was my hot tea. The waiter never checked on us at his own. We had to whistle him down. Maybe their food and services at night is a better hit. All I know is that I had good dining experience with them in the past. But today. It really sucked!“

“This area of highland Park which is to say the stretch of North Figueroa Street from avenue 26 all the way to eagle Rock Boulevard is a little bit of a mariscos desert, other than the shrimp tacos at La Estrella. (El pescador is overrated) So it was very exciting to find out about this truck. Excellent service -- outstanding campechana, savory in a peppery way that was welcome. Shrimp tacos were outstanding . “Haven’t been here in a long while and kinda forgot about it. But my parents wanted to go specifically for some garlic crab. And it did not disappoint! One of the better Cantonese style Chinese restaurants in the SGV! I would absolutely come more often now. Whoever cooked on 8/15 dinner time, chefs kiss.

Garlic crab was delicious. Although crab is so tedious to eat like this, it was really good. Beef filet cubes were super flavorful and so tender. Not chewy at all like other Chinese restaurants make it. The lobster was my favorite. Black pepper seasoning was not too overpowering and the basil added such a nice aroma. Green beans were amazing. Perfect amount of wok char flavor and spice. Salt and pepper squid was fried perfectly, not chewy or tough at all. Clams were tasty but for this one you gotta enjoy bittermelon. If you don’t, stick with the clams and black bean sauce. Fried tofu was good, soy sauce with it just needed some chili. Beef chow fun was delicious, you can taste the wok char, noodles were perfect texture, we said no bean sprouts so they kindly added Chinese broccoli for us. The fried rice was good but lacking on something. I would definitely try a different fried rice next time.

Service - keeping in mind it’s a Chinese restaurant, they were still sooooo nice! Attentive with tea and switching plates. Food came out quick. They brought napkins and checked on us. We enjoyed our dining experience.

Parking - free small lot in this little plaza. Didn’t have an issue with parking at all. I’m sure if they got busy, parking might be a smidge difficult. But we had no issues with 3 cars.“

“The food was great!! Their ceviche is cooked with lemon, so it is tasty. Their empanadas are the size of a regular tortilla folded in half, so they are not small. Their large fish tacos are twice the size a regular taco - beware!!! Our order was to go and it was a pleasant surprise to see we weren't missing anything. Their salsas are very good too.

Parking: This is not s restaurant. It us a truck, so you need to drive around snd find parking, but it is worth it!“

With a side of horseradish that was perfectly paired for this sandwich.“
