“Tiramisu cake was top notch! Viking cake was super rich, but still delicious. Paired with red wines and vanilla bean ice cream. Ice cream came out first, cake about 3 minutes later, but wines were delayed quite some time. Service was fairly slow, but staff were extremely friendly and obviously hard at work. Huge portions! Recommendation: a garnish or side of strawberries with the Viking cake.“

The owners are are family to me & my husband, have been awesome friends for a decade.

The beertenders are fun, educated about the beers & are all family to me

The beer is some of the best i’ve had in my life, my desert-island beer lives on the board, Drink this or the Bees Die

Being gluten-free makes the beer healthier for me, less pain in my joints, no bloating, & tastes amazing.

“Sidecar Donuts & Coffee is a casual boutique tucked away in a nice shopping mall in the Del Mar Heights area. The friendly staff makes their cake donuts from scratch every hour.

Favorites from this morning were the Huckleberry cake donut, Butter & Salt donut, and the Bourbon Pecan Pie donut.

🍩 The Huckleberry donut had a great sweetness with the huckleberries in the glaze and the cake.

🍩 The Butter & Salt donut was a simple sleeper donut, with browned butter, vanilla flavored cake, and sea salt - so tasty!

🍩 The Bourbon Pecan Pie donut was light and fluffy. The bourbon and brown sugar glaze complemented the pecan pie filling and whipped cream.

This location has lots of free parking, especially in the morning hours (Sidecar opens at 0630 pacific time) and they have limited outside seating.

Great place to bring family and friends for an elevated sweet treat of fresh donuts and coffee.“

“One of the best açaís I’ve tried in SD. I was craving one today and it was so good I am thinking about going back tomorrow to have another one. My toddler had one too, he’s 3 years old, he ate all his small one with fruits and came to grab mine too lol
I got mine with strawberries, blueberries, dry milk, almond butter (amazing!!) and chia pudding (amazing!!).

“Like a few others here, I am a native New Yorker with a love for authentic and delicious rugulach with proper and freash ingredients.Chewy's rugulach is the best there is here on the west coast.I pick up the chocolate rugulach at the cookie bar at Whole Foods Market in El Segundo, and you should too! Just the most delicious snack one could ask for. Love the raspberry (not usually a Raspberry fan of anything) and the apricot as well!“

The chicken lettuce wraps are always a favorite, as is the hot and sour soup, which is hearty and delicious! “Ike's was just a random find on UberEats, looking for something new and nice while staying here in San Diego; oh boy... they didn't disappoint!

I ordered the Menage A Trois and the Matt Cain sandwichs, and they were both quite nice. They both were ordered with Dutch crunch bread, lettuce, red onion, and tomato.

Both sandwiches meat's were tender and well flavoured, they arrived hot and well wrapped. Truly nothing to complain about, they were both fantastic tasting and the texture beats a lot of other sandwich shops out there.

Be warned, they are quite filling and dense sandwichs, just one was enough to satisfy.

Our server Tessa prepared the rolls wonderfully and the packer Leila ensured they arrived safe and sound.

Would definitely recommend and will eat here again.“

“Please open one in Vancouver, WA. Your restaurant will do well here. There are too many new fast-food burger places opening around here and we need an alternative (if you want a burger Habit Burger or Shake Shack are great). I’d like to see a Tin Leaf open around here. I’d go there frequently for lunch, and so would other health-conscious residents.“
