“Love the interior of this place. Upon walking in, it is nice and bright. The staff was super friendly and the girl in front was very helpful.
I had a few items including their waffle, chicken sandwiches, and tteokbokki. The way they fry their chicken is so good. The skin is super crispy yet the chicken inside is still juicy. Also, this might be one of the best chicken and waffles I've ever had. The waffles are crispy on the center and soo fluffy on the inside. They also give you whip cream and butter with it. It was delicious. If this was a breakfast spot, I would go back to order the waffles every day. I also like how much toppings are in their tteokbokki. The flavor was really good and wasn't too overly spicy which I enjoy. The chicken sandwich was a little hard to eat because it is HUGE but nonetheless, it was great. The chicken wasn't dry even though they were tenders. Overall, I really liked my meal there and found it really delicious.“

“I saw this restaurant on Facebook or Insta on Friday night and the pic and menus made my mouth water. We took take out on Saturday night and the chicken was mouth-watering! I want to swing by again tonight just for the chicken. Since we did take out, when I got home the fries were cold and the salads were just OK. We didn’t care for the dressings they provided, (but that is just personal taste) I would definitely recommend, it is new to our neighborhood and we will eat there again.“

I had an amazing experience at this Juan Pollo! The food was absolutely delicious — the chicken was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and tender, with just the right amount of seasoned flavor. The sides were fresh and flavorful, especially the potato salad, which has to be the BEST potato salad out there.
What really stood out, though, was the service. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the moment I walked in. They made sure everything was to my liking and served everything quickly with a smile.
Juan Pollo offers not just great food, but also a warm, friendly atmosphere that makes you want to come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality food and exceptional service!“

“This was our very first time ever eating Dave’s Hot Chicken and for our first experience it was so perfect! We got lucky and got a chance to snag THE FALLOUT meal! We have been going to so many locations for it and it was SOLD OUT! The staff was so nice to us and we can’t wait to come back again. We got the meal to go but saw how clean and cool this location was so we decided to stay in and eat! Our food was DELICIOUS and I would recommend to come here! We for sure will come again!“

My only issue is the chicken portion seems to keep getting a tad smaller with each visit. Probably more a sign of the times than an actual complaint.“

“This place is truly a hidden gem. The chicken is always so flavorful, and their salsa never misses! it’s consistently delicious every single time. Honestly, it beats a lot of the big chain spots. “Absolutely amazing. After a disappoint go at the Mancoras peruivian cuisine on main, I found this place in walking distance. Gave it a shot and the chicken is amazing. The #1 recommendation is have is the #1 Chicken sandwich (white or dark meat) it's by far the best chicken sandwich I've had. Easily blowing Raising Canes and all other chicken sandwich establishments out of the park. The balance between each ingredient was spot on and I could easily devour multiple of these in one sitting due to how good it is. 100% recommend this place.
Side note, for any people planning to eat here. Order ahead of time (sometimes it can take 30+ minutes) and avoid the wraps, go for the chicken on the bun instead. It's vastly superior because the wraps seem to be poorly constructed. The wraps seem to be overflowing with sauce which makes the wrap soft and weak so its, hard to hold let alone eat, without it breaking apart in your hands“

“Phone in your order to speed up the wait. I usually get the garlic chicken panini. It's so so so very good. Keep in mind the limited hours. I wish they were open for dinner. It's also one of the few places you can still get a copy of the Pasadena Weekly.
Parking: If you don't see a spot to park in front, just park in the back. You enter the parking lot on the west side of the building. There's always an empty parking spot in back, but not as shaded.“

“That ginger scallion sauce hit exactly right, bright and aromatic, which is the most important thing when you’re doing Hainan chicken rice.
The chicken itself backs it up: genuinely juicy and fresh, not dried out, with that silky poached texture the dish is built around. Portions are huge and the value is hard to argue with. The other sauces run a little sweet for my taste, and so do the pickles, but the pickles are good enough that you’ll eat them all anyway. Consistent spot. Go for the chicken rice, load up on the ginger scallion, skip nothing.“
“People say this spot has some of the best fast food fried chicken. So let’s see if they’re pretty good eh or ew. I got their 4 piece meal with half fried and roasted chicken, beans, plantains, and tortillas. Yall know im a bean fiend and these beans were smooth, savory, and flavorful. The plantains were sweet, soft, caramalized, and a bit tart? Not really for me. The roasted chicken was super savory, flavorful, juicy, and actually really yummy. The fried chicken was perfectly crispity crunchy and just as flavorful and juicy. Pro tip is to make a taco using the corn tortilla with all the yummy ingredients. This place is actually pretty good.

“The food is fantastic, the cooks are simply amazing, it is a hit and miss with the people at the register, today I was served and taken care of by a gentleman by the name of Manuel, this person was exceptional, gladly took my order over the phone, mind you ,we are bus operators and we are always on the go, we call to put in our orders in hope that we dont have any further delays, we give the people enough time to get our orders ready and mind you we will never cancel , we have about 10 drivers that simply love this place, but at times ,we have reservations because we are in limbo of who we are going to get on the phone, for years ,we have been a patron of juan pollo, we need consistency...thank you guys“
