“One of the best Thai food I had in LA. We had a group of 9 and the servers were very accommodating to get us a table. The food was awesome- we ordered Pad Thai, Panang Curry, Box of Prawns, Rainbow rice, crusted Salmon and Hot Mermaid. The food came out quickly and the service was great.“

The kind of place only locals in the hood know about and frequent, far from the center of commerce, but quaint enough to be the epicenter of town. The food is super fresh. “This is my OG favorite Thai spot starting way back in 2007 when I moved to Pasadena! I recently went back to give it another try and it's as good as I remember, prices are now considered reasonable and even good especially the lunch specials, and everything still tastes fresh and high quality. Even some of the servers are still some of the original servers from 2007! They said they love working there. The inside is unique, used to be a wall of empty frames but they made it a bit more artsy but definitely eclectic! They also have if you dishes that are not straight tie but Singaporean or Malaysian. A lunch special for two and both of us getting one iced coffee and one Thai tea came out to a whopping ;-) $40. I think that's super reasonable for high quality Thai food and the drinks added $10. Go check it out!“

“OMG this place is fire. Don't judge the restaurant by the exterior. It truly is a hole-in-the-wall, hidden gem. I was losing hope in LA restaurants (we're visiting from NorCal) but this was honestly the best Thai food I've ever had! We tried the Panang Curry with Tofu and the Drunken Noodles with Tofu. EXCELLENT VEGETARIAN OPTIONS!! Everything tasted homemade, authentic, and most of all, FRESH! I can't wait to return and try other dishes :)“

We came here with the red dinning book 📕. Got two entrees and an appetizer for 2 people, koi soi, tiger prawn curry and raw scallops. The koi soi is actually a pasta, so it was quite a surprise to me, there is no soup in the dish. The curry in the tiger prawn dish is full with prawn roe sauce, very rich.

Everything tastes good and I would come back for the 2nd time for sure!“

“We spent a long weekend in Pasadena and at first chose this Thai place because it was just 5min walking from our rental cottage. They greeted us so friendly and accommodated our requests for items on the side. Then, the next day we came back here because everything was so flavorful! My husband had the crispy sole fish special and I enjoyed the glass noodles with shrimp. Exquisite!

“The best Thai food at the best prices in LA. They actually give a good portion here compared to most places around AND it tastes the best. They're also open late for us night owls. “My girlfriend and I sat down here for lunch on a weekend and the food was delicious! The ambiance was good, and everything looked clean and polished. We ordered the crying tiger, khao soi, gai manow, and a mango sticky rice with pandan ice cream. Everything was on very flavorful and on point, and the service was excellent. The khao soi was a stand out with rich flavors, and is a must get!“

“Chili & Lemon Thai Cuisine is the BEST Thai in the area. I have ordered from them multiple times and just recently found out they have their own delivery driver (ONLY A $3 DELIVERY FEE!!) and party trays. Party trays are great as they really take down the price per person and it makes it more fun anyway! We got the 10-12 party tray and it easily fed 11 people + left overs. As this was for a birthday and I told the restaurant they very kindly threw in a sticky rice with mango which was delicious. The food (Pad See Ew) and crab wontons were all GREAT! Everyone was pleased with their meal. Not only that but they delivered promptly (15 minutes EARLY!) I would say they are a great options for a dinner party or for individual meals. Their staff who helped me Sun and one other lady, were extremely helpful and answered all of my questions, and I had a lot of them! I wish I had taken photos, sadly I did not.“

Followed by chicken pad-Thai - was nice but somehow missing sourness. But still enjoyable!
The desert, sticky rise with mango- perfect!

“Came here to try a new Thai spot after going to President Thai down the street for years and wanting something different. We ordered from the dinner menu, which comes with soup or salad, egg rolls or wontons, and white rice or shrimp fried rice, a great value.

I got the chicken pad Thai and everything was so flavorful and delicious. My boyfriend ordered the yellow curry and it was absolutely amazing, rich and creamy with a coconut base that honestly reminded me of my mom’s Vietnamese curry.

The owner was also incredibly kind and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal. Such a welcoming experience. We’ll definitely be back soon!“

“Finally got around to trying this little spot that opened up about a year and a half ago!
Ordered two Pad Thai and a Chicken Satay.
The Pad Thai was really tasty, And the server offered us a hot sauce that was SO GOOD! On top of the Pad Thai, it was even better. But the real star of the show was the chicken satay and peanut sauce. The chicken was perfectly cooked, practically falling off of its skewer, tender and juicy and seasoning was on point!
A lot of people came in for order pickups, but I was surprised we were the only ones in the small dining room. Which was actually really nice on a busy Friday night everywhere else. Really glad we stopped in!“

The sauce mixed in the noodles was pretty savory and the whole dish itself was flavorful. However, personally I feel like Vermicelli Noodles aren't for me. If you're a fan, give this dish a try!

Deep Fried
You get a choice of protein. I picked beef. The eggplant was very flavorful and the texture was perfect. Usually these are very soggy and oily in asian cuisine, but to me this one is just right. It's my favorite eggplant dish so far.

Definitely coming back again some time to try out more of their food. :)“

“The food here was honestly so much better than expected and definitely worth the visit. The location may seem a little rough at first glance, but once we sat down and ate, none of that mattered because the quality of the food and service completely stood out. The portions are large family-style servings, easily enough to share between a few people, which made the meal feel like a great value. I also loved the cute porcelain Chinese-style takeout boxes they used for the steamed rice — such a small detail but really memorable. The service was excellent throughout the meal, with the server checking in multiple times to make sure everything was good. He even noticed he accidentally brought the wrong fried rice and corrected it before I even realized it myself, which showed real attention to detail. Overall, the experience felt welcoming, generous, and genuinely satisfying. Definitely a place I’d come back to again.“
