“We travelled from Maryland to experience San Francisco, found this local restaurant within walking distance of our hotel, and decided to give it a try. It was well worth it! The staff was accommodating, attentive and very friendly. The food was exceptional! If you haven’t tried Mediterranean cuisine or love it, this is the place for you!“

The food was delicious! The salmon avocado roll tasted so fresh. The chicken fried rice was also packed with flavor.“

“We have been going to Pizetta for too many years to count now. Always yummy, craveable pizzas and interesting starters - not your ordinary starters. They are ever-changing and highlight whatever was freshest from the farmer's market. Don't forget the desserts which include always-available options as well as specials. They can get busy (because they are just that good) but, we think, it's well worth the wait. Wish they'd open other locations but understand the desire to stay small and true to their roots.“

“Amazing food, one of the breakfast in the town! We tried avocado toast with salmon and breakfast croissant, and everything is so delicious.

One note about the place: we prefer to sit outside because the exhaust hood inside doesn't work well and afterwards our clothes smell like food. It would be great if this could be improved in the establishment.“

The mole was rich, thick, sweet, with a good amount of spice - personally would have preferred it a little less sweet and a little more spicy, but that's just my personal preference for mole. It was still very tasty! The concha french toast though? SHOW. STOPPER. I could go back once a week to eat that and never tire of it. The cafe de olla is delicious as well, and pairs great with both the savory and sweet breakfast options. “I came here on a Friday afternoon and got the pork belly banh mi. It was so good… definitely top 10 sandwiches I’ve ever had. Pork belly was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, bread was nice, and the pickled vegetables were perfect. Owners were also really friendly and only took a couple minutes max to make the sandwich. The space is small, and seating is limited though“

“I really love this place! The food is just delectable and yummy! I recommend the combo appetizer plate and the combo meat plate for two people to share. It will allow you to sample everything and still be content. I wish one thing they did differently was double the pita bread serving for the appetizer plate. That’s the only con. The service is quick and friendly. The restaurant is very modern and airy.“

“Stopped in for coffee, a very kind gentleman agreed to sit with my 11.5 month old Golden Retriever outside. Nice woman behind counter said my dog was welcomed in, my dog doesn't have enough manners to go inside, yet!
Ordered an Americano, kind woman asked if I'd like an ice cube in coffee, as it was way too hot to drink. Glad she was thinking as it was perfect!! Still hot, love LOVE my HOT black coffee. Without the 1 ice cube, I would have to wait for caffeine consumption!
The other woman behind the counter was making a beautiful bowl.. not sure what it was but it looked delicious!!!! Going back this week to try !!!

The gentleman that sat with my dog volunteers with human society and he educated me on the correct walking leash for my dog and informed me of puppy classes!! Super grateful, as I just moved from Detroit!

“We’ve always been thin crust pizza fans, have never tasted authentic NY style pizza, though we have had Napoli-style pizza several times in Rome, and we gotta say, the crust here is AMAZING!! The only slight change that I think would make it taste even better is if there was a bit more salt in the dough. Other than that, the bottom of the pizza was crisp, and the crust was airy and crisp with a slight chew. The crust was so delicious that we saved all our uneaten crusts to bring home for later, could not bear to throw them away (unlike other, more bready crusts). 😆 The pepperoni pizza was our favorite (so flavorful), with the sausage being a close second. The margherita was nice with the fresh basil, but could have used a sprinkling of salt. Our younger son really wanted to try the corn pizza, but we could only manage to finish 3 pizzas with our family of 7, so he has already declared that this will be his pick for his birthday meal, and that he will be getting the corn pizza. 😆 Wish it were closer to us (we live around 30 mins away), but it is not too far for special occasions! From where we live, comparatively, Mountain Mike’s and Porky’s Pizza Palace would be rated 2 or 3 out of 10 and Spinning Dough would be 9/10! Would totally buy it frozen if they offered that, it is that good! Was also a treat for the kids to watch the owner (who is super, super nice!) toss the dough and assemble the pizzas. Instead of pre-made salad, they have a build-your-own station where you can customize the salad to your liking (which I prefer). Definitely satisfied with my salad. “With 3 hours to kill, we set off for the food court recommended by a pilot we asked and looked at our options. We decided to "be healthy" after a 10-day cruise and were rewarded with amazing food! The Good Catch Vegan Manhattan Seafood Chowder and Tortilla soup were both amazing and the Cabo salad was hearty enough for us to share and not feel deprived in any way. Of course, we then justified a couple of chocolate chip cookies for dessert-LOL. I now hope we have a reason to get back there again.“

“We ordered the Kapow Gai pizza and the Tom Yum wings. Both were delicious. The regular crust pizza is on thinner side but the bottom stays dry and maintains integrity with every bite. The wings were meaty and flavorful. Definitely plan to order some of the traditional Lao cuisine they offer.“

This is that place, where the salad is the main course. Maybe back in 1997 that was $9, here it's $20 something for that you want. But the salad is main-course-sized and excellent.

Don't get the dressing on the side. Let the professionals mix it in, they're better than us.

Post covid, I can't help but feel like the portions are smaller or stingier with the protein (this location was opened after covid but the experience seems the same for other locations).

Long story short, this place has really tasty food. But it's priced for SF yups that are wearing yoga pants and high heels at the same time. Great food, but almost too trendy. Clearly their marketing works. I'll keep eating here until salad starting price eclipses $20.“

“Proper Food is a grab-and-go eatery located in the Financial District. It is targeted towards workers in the area as it is only open on weekdays during breakfast and lunch. They sell a lot of standard fare like sandwiches and salads, albeit with a gourmet slant. Was visiting my company's SF office, which was housed in the same building and got a light breakfast here. I can imagine this being a default spot if I was working there and needed to grab something quick to eat.“

“Muguboka is a small Korean restaurant, but the food was clean-tasting and truly delicious. It was the best restaurant I visited during my trip. “Likely the best value in the FiDi for a quick breakfast. I got the Huevos Rancheros ($8.95) add Bacon (+$3). I ordered it through Toast and picked it up. My coffee was made fresh when I got there so it would still be HOT!

The Huevos were delicious! Two eggs, both red and green salsa (one on each), black beans, and a bit of cheese. It was the perfect amount and was delicious. A hint of spice from the salsas, the eggs were well seasoned and the tortillas still crispy.

I'll be swinging by here more often than my usual bagel place in the future!“

“After reading the terrible reviews of the nearby supergreen, I decided to try Mixt instead and was very pleased with my choice. The serving was large and reasonably priced, and the food felt very fresh. Service was good, and location is fantastic, with a nice view.

Two tips to share:
1) Instead of building your own salad, customize one of the salads on the menu. For exactly the same selection, customization turns out slightly cheaper.
2) For those who count calories, use the website to make your selection and count the calories first. With some careful swaps (eg, lemon juice instead of salad dressing, grilled chicken instead of fried), you can make dramatic reductions.

My salad in the picture was under $15 and around 250 calories, customized using the falafel salad.“
