I tried the California burrito and it is amazing, great flavor and portion size you will get your money's worth. “J&J's has been around a few years now. I had the three beef rolled tacos with all the fixings for 7.99 plus tax.

The tacos were good. They were crispy and had a good amount of shredded beef inside. The green avocado salsa I had with the rolled tacos was very good and offered mild heat.

The place used to be brighter inside, but it still looks nice. I like the Mexican style tile floors. The service was cordial and friendly. The have a good salsa bar.“

It was not very busy when I arrived so there were only a couple of people ahead of me. I was giving my order within 5 minutes and offered Consume - delicious! Probably waited another 10 minutes for my fish burrito. They offered either fried or grilled. I got the fried one this time. The wait was okay for me since they make everything fresh.

I got it to go and ate it while driving. What I was impressed with was they automatically cut it half even though I forgot to ask them to that. It was also on a disposable tray and also wrapped with saran to keep it hot. Most taco shops don't do all of that, but it was a nice touch since I only ate half and had the wrapping already so I could eat the other half later or throw it in the fridge.

Now, the taste and texture was amazing. Perfect crunch from the fried fish and purple onions. The burrito needed nothing added for my tastes and the fish was buttery and fresh. Just the right level of kick for me but if you are a spicy fan they had at least 10-15 bottles of hot sauce available along with the cups they put in the bag.

There were comfortable seats and tables outside the truck which under a couple of tents, so it's nice and shaded, lights at night, etc. I'll definitely be back because I'm in the area a lot.

“We were in Sandiego 2 weeks ago and drove east to the area among other ones like ael Cajon were from Chicago and this place did not disappoint ! Wonderful quessabirria n pastor tacos with a ice cold coke in a bottle I was in heaven kudos and congrats we have plenty of places here but very impressed with great food Saludos! The only thing was parking may be an issud but for food like this you make it work well worth it.“

“We had an absolutely wonderful experience here. Our server (I believe his name was Carter) was exceptional and very accommodating. All the dishes we ordered were delicious and flavorful. They also have a wide array of tasty cocktails to choose from. The only critique I have is the portion size. I don't mind paying a premium and I acknowledge the quality but the value should be commensurate with the cost. Otherwise, we had an excellent experience. Highly recommend.“

“The food was delicious. The service was so so. They even removed my drink and utensils while I was still eating and did not bother to bring them back. How is a customer supposed to eat hot soup without utensils or a beverage to wash it down? How is a customer supposed to eat the salad bar or hot food with out utensils, napkins or drinks. I even paid $3.59 plus tax for a beverage. I got the all you can eat salad bar. The restaurant had only 3 or 4 tables full and was not busy. However since 1 lady was mopping they forced me out of a clean table into a dirty table. I prepaid my salad barmeal and also paid extra for my soda. I even left a good tip. However they did not even offer me toast and even took so long to come by. Then when they did they took my soda cup and utensils. I was there over 30 minutes.“

“We have been HUGE a huge fan of a local crawfish restaurant for as long as they have been open, and have gone frequently over the years. Recently we have been looking to try some of the other crawfish places around. Not only did the Boxing Crab have flavorful sauces to choose from, top quality freshness, the best cooked crawfish we have had in a restaurant, (even better than our regular spot), and their service was wonderful! This humble looking Japanese restaurant is actually a Michelin One Star.

The only way to make a reservation is via their reservation partner. They will send you an email notification like two hours ahead of your reservation.

However, you have to really "fast hand" to confirm your reservation. If you are like a sloth, you will never be able to complete your reservation.???

And, they will charge a despite of $50/ person when the reservation is confirmed.“

Amazing grilled fish taco with fresh fish that melts in the mouth 😋😋😋 Fresh oysters with tasty sauces, bits of seafood and shrimp (they called them prepped). Also a great selection of salsas, complimentary lemons and marinated onions. Wasn't a huge fan of smoked tuna taco though. Decent amount of tables (standing and with the seats) with a tarp cover on top. Highly recommend!!!

“This place is the best! We’re from Colorado and we found this place three years ago when we were visiting. We’ve dreamt about their fish and shrimp tacos ever since, so we make it a point to stop by whenever we’re in San Diego. This last trip was no different. I tried this place a second time after being impressed the first time, wanting to try their poblano burrito (which quite a few others have posted about). Holy. Wow. This burrito was FIRE. You can add steak or shrimp, but I added BOTH, and I added their chipotle cream sauce. It was massive and so delicious. They did not skimp on either the steak or the shrimp, and the burrito's other contents (cheese-stuffed poblanos, rice, beans, and guac) were really generous. Highly, highly recommend Burrito City if you're in the area.“

“Crab Pub is the best! I’ve spent years going to Crab Hut but it’s been getting so expensive. I found Crab Pub literally a few days after they opened and been going ever since. I recommend then to everyone. You won’t be disappointed. Only thing they don’t have is corn bread but it’s ok!“

“The first time my friend told me to meet him at TJ Oyster Bar I was not expecting what it turned out to be. I have not had any oysters in the five or six times that I have gone there. “man oh man. this place has some real soul to it. as someone from the south it definitely reminded me of home. i had the chicken wings, greens & mac n cheese and everything was FIRE. a few critiques though..

Food: maybe add a little more meat to the greens and a tad bit more salt to the mac.
as far as the chicken & cornbread though? don’t change a thing about it! 39/10. ( also props to yall for adding hot sauce to the bag )

Atmosphere: with it being a takeout only (at least when i went) i’d suggest maybe putting some tables & chairs since there’s none outside. it’s a nice view of the area so people might want to sit down and eat or just sit down while they wait on their food. maybe play some soft music too!

Price: okay so i got a niceeee handful of wings, probably close to 10, & the 2 sides which totaled up to around $29.03. while i do think that’s a bit pricey for one person, the portions and QUALITY of food makes up for it. so take that for what it’s worth.

also.. i did i order the blue lavender lemonade but i forgot to get it and didn’t realize till i got home 🥲. nonetheless, i will be back in the future and to my melanated brothas and sistas, if you needed a sign to try this place, take my word for it!!“
