“Very good food my favorite are the enchiladas con queso.The only issue is that the lady has attitude I ordered to go since I use to come here and eat along time ago but she did not make me feel comfortable. Today I asked for sauce, a tomate one for my to go order and she told me ay mija you should of told me literally just had to get a cup with lid and pour it in.”

“I have been eyeing this place for so long and im so glad i finally decided to stop by!! Right when you walk in you are greeted by the most awesome staff, I automatically felt so welcomed and appreciated as a customer. Desiree was very friendly and patient with me as she helped me navigate through the menu at robeks.
I commented on how i love my coffee and Desiree recommended me the “Nuts About protein” smoothie and i loved it! It gave me a steady boost of energy and tasted amazing!!! I look forward to stopping by again!”

“This Bakery is Beyond amazing 👏 😍 They make fresh fruit smoothies :^) they have multiple milk options 😋 They offer fresh juices that are healthy, yet delicious. They have delicious sandwiches. Their homemade cookies are amazing 👏 They go above and beyond to make you feel at home 🏡 they have AC and it's comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and provides a sound blocking experience. They were the perfect surprise and treat for our guests; everyone couldn't stop talking about them after our wedding! “Dynamite fried fish at this little spot, located in a strip mall in Sylmar. I ordered red snapper and catfish, and both items were delicious--well-seasoned, perfectly cooked and served up piping hot. I particularly enjoyed the catfish. Outstanding flavor, very fresh tasting! So good! And the proprietor of this business is really friendly and welcoming. Very good food and very good vibes! I will be back.”

“Pupusas are delicious! I’ve tried many different restaurants in the valley and this one by far takes it. They are off of Foothill Blvd (in front of the Vons) Tuesday-Sunday. Hours vary from 9:30. Very affordable and they have an area where you can sit and eat. Also very clean, gloves are used to prepare your food.”

“Pretty good in a pinch. The beans on the nachos are somewhat flavorless, the green salsa adds some good heat.
The lengua was delicious but I prefer my tripa a little crispier, so maybe my fault for not asking. Overall pretty flavorful tacos but everything else feels like an afterthought. The radish and pickled veggies have lost their crunch and some of the chips were stale.”

“Food at this place is delicious. My favorites are the Mar y Tierra burrito and all the specialty breakfast burritos I've had are delicious. I will say however, seems like the size of them has gotten smaller. I feel like that shrimp and steak burrito was larger than it is now. I expect it to remain the same size if there's an increase in price. Either way, I like it enough that I'll continue as a customer, for now, and it still gets 5 starts because the food is good. Parking can be a pain because its located within a gas station with its own convenience store and parking is shared. But stop for some fuel and grab a burrito. Its worth it.”

“Update, even better this week being setup at the San Fernando Brewery. Hard to beat great beer and Bbq. Added Mac and Cheese this week, did not disappoint. Brisket was great. Perfect Crust and Smoke. Cole Slaw was cut well, light and tasty. Beans had good smoke and we're tasty, although seemed like from a can. The Pickles are really good, you can just about eat them by themselves as I did on the drive home. This is just about as close to TX BBQ that I've had around these parts and a lot better than the closest Chain. Only thing missing are some Onions, different BBQ sauces (ex. Vinegary, Spicy) and a Gallon of sweet tea. Highly recommend this place. I will be back.”

“I finally had a chill morning and decided to stop by this privately owned coffee shop, El Jardín. This isn’t my first time here, but I can honestly say I think I’ve found the coffee spot I’ve been looking for.
The atmosphere is friendly, relaxing, and welcoming. It has that neighborhood vibe where it doesn’t feel like everyone is strangers—it feels more like we’re all just surviving the same world together, helped along by a good cup of caffeine.
Their coffee beans are a perfect blend of flavor—rich and delightful without any harsh aftertaste. Even better, it doesn’t leave you with that horrible acid reflux feeling that sometimes comes with strong coffee.
I ordered the horchata iced latte and specifically asked for it not to be too sweet. They nailed it. It was perfectly balanced—not overpowered by creamer, not too strong on the caffeine, just smooth and refreshing.
I also ordered the chicken pesto, and let me tell you: if you’re a pesto lover, this is what you want. The chicken tasted fresh, not frozen. The tomatoes were bright and flavorful, the arugula was crisp, and the pesto—with its well-blended nuts—brought everything together beautifully. The olive oil was light and balanced, making it satisfying without feeling heavy.
I’ve seen some mixed reviews about this place, but honestly, I think some people just need to travel a little farther to experience the difference between exquisite and mediocre—because this place is exquisite.
If you’re looking for a smooth, relaxing, uplifting cup of coffee and a light lunch made with fresh ingredients, I highly recommend stopping by.
