“O.K., Coming to West Shore for last 20+ years. GF has been coming to West Shore since family cabin built in McKinney Creek in 1960. This place started off a little rocky a few years back but had definitely improved like a fine wine. I am a Carb boy and LOVE any variation of their Pizza's. GF non-Carb girl but still devours their pizza. Only suggestion (which is partially our fault) is to order extra Dates on their Date Pizza. Also, the Pickle salad could use some work (however, they refunded for that). Best deal on the West Shore and Tahoe City when it comes to price and quality. We usually go to Reno for dinner because of their quality choices, but the Dog and Bear holds up against the best that Reno has to offer. Service is 5 Star!!! FYI, I am a dog lover...Especially partial to Labs.”

“6 of us had a superb meal. The server was attentive, but forgot to mention the rolls had powdered garlic after I had told him I had a intolerance of Powdered and dried garlic.. I ordered the Lobster ravioli, which was an appetizer, for my dinner and a dinner sized portion was served. It was delicious and I devoured the whole dinner. Will come again when we are in the are.”

“We enjoyed everything we were served here! From the shrimp Chow Fun to the Eggplant in sweet and sour sauce, the dishes were cooked perfectly. The spicy chicken wings were crisp and flavorful with just the right amount of spice from the Serrano peppers. The bok choi, broccoli, and veggies we had were fresh and nothing was greasy. The noodles were great and we enjoyed the different meats we ordered. They season things well and nothing is overly sauced.

If you're looking for amazing food with wonderful service and hospitality, you'll enjoy this restaurant and the dining experience they provide. We will be back each time we come to Tahoe!”

“Our first time there. Great little place, due to Covid, we ordered at the window. We hope to dine in when this is over. The sticky pecan bun was to die for. Can’t wait to taste the 5 cupcakes and 9 cookies tonight. Great coffee and Mocha too. We will definately be back”

“Beautiful lakeside location with a nice big dog friendly patio, good draft beers brewed on-site and good pizza. The deep-dish pizza tasted better than it looked. We almost sent it back because the top and crust were pretty blackened, but I hate sending food back, so we persevered and it was better than expected. Not great, but not bad. It was $38 for a borderline burnt/mediocre medium pizza with 6 slices. My boyfriend and I each had 2 slices and 2 beers and were full. The pizza made for good leftovers as well. I enjoyed the two different draft beers I had; the amber type lager (can't recall the name) and a seasonal beer. The service in the bar area high tops was ok. Water is self-serve. They are on par with other local breweries and were very nice but nothing outstanding. Overall, a cool new-ish spot for a beer and an excellent view.”

“A cost corner shop with a menu options ranging from ice creams, sorbets, beverages and Açaí bowl. Their huckleberry ice is a must try. Overall a good experience and flavor options.
They have outdoor seating space and is right on the street, easy accessibility and convenience if coming from the beach.”
