“I recently visited Curb Grill in Montrose, and I can’t stop raving about the experience! This family-owned gem is a must-visit for anyone craving high-quality food in a welcoming environment. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla with sausage and bacon, and it was hands-down one of the best I’ve ever had—packed with fresh, flavorful ingredients, perfectly cooked eggs, and a generous portion that left me satisfied. Every bite was a testament to the care and quality they put into their dishes.
The restaurant itself was impeccably clean, from the dining area to the counter, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The bright, well-maintained space made the whole experience even more enjoyable. What truly set Curb Grill apart, though, was the owner, Albert, whose friendliness made us feel like part of the family from the moment we walked in. His warm hospitality and genuine enthusiasm for connecting with customers elevated the visit to something special.
I wholeheartedly recommend Curb Grill to all Montrose locals looking for a fantastic meal and a great vibe. This place has earned a spot as a regular go-to for me and my family—we’ll definitely be back time and time again“

“biscuits “sent from heaven” Keyshia Cole voice Stopped by John O’Groats for some pre archery lesson fuel. Off rip, I knew it was gonna be bomb because my boyfriend actually has great taste and recommended it. I mean why would I date him otherwise? But I still had to be the one to taste it to believe it. Those biscuits put them on the MAP! I had lost faith in biscuits & gravy in this city. I have been let down time and time again because it was so weak. But these gave me hope for the future 🥹 I could see this place being my breakfast new normal. So if you ever want to stop by there, hit me up beforehand and we can brunch together🫶🏼🍽️ this is the type of place I would have FOMO over“

“A great place, nice people, great staff. Excellent for a lunch, a quick snack or a coffee break from a busy day. A big plus is the garden in the back where you can sit back and enjoy the day. Also good if you prefer working outside in the sun. A warm recommendation.

“Our Elite Tabletop Family cannot say enough great things about Cafe 50’s! From the way we were GREETED, TREATED, & SERVED, to the way they’ve continued to treat our daughter like FAMILY since she’s arrived in Santa Monica. They’ve been nothing less than spectacular and are the epitome of what a True, neighborhood nostalgic 50’s diner encompasses. No other establishment has ever provided fun toys & items of entertainment while waiting for our food. We thank Benjamin for that! Victor the GM checked on our table and made sure Kim our waitress was taking care of us! Kim was a fantastic server and we never once waited for a refill on anything. The staff @ Cafe 50’s take pride in their customer service & establishment and they deserve all the recognition! You have our family’s support for life Cafe 50’s! “A calm and relaxing atmosphere for a nice sunny day. I would recommend the French Toast Special it has a nice touch with the blueberries, strawberries, and bananas. The Platter is also a very good choice with great portions. Although on one note, I do think the beverages like fountain drinks & orange juice have an above normal price of $4 each for a Pepsi and the Orange Juice I ordered.“

“It does not feel like you were in LA county. This place takes me right back to the country and every general store Café I’ve ever been to. The portions are solid, especially for the lower than expecting prices. The atmosphere is full on country. The music is country.and everyone is friendly and kind. The food is fresh and made to order. And it hasn’t changed in the 20 years I’ve been going. I am never disappointed and I am always satisfied.“

“My favorite gem in LA. Every time I’m sick, my boyfriend gets me matzah ball soup, and it really is magical Jewish penicillin. It always makes me feel better. I dream about the chocolate rugelach. “Waitor didn't tell me about an up charge but said I could have any selection of pancakes with Breakfast. Delicious and restaurant smelled good, music was ambient, but surprise charge. My check suggested 18%,20% or 22% but when I paid the tablet started it's suggestions a bit higher and didn't let me customize to an 18% because of the surprise unchanged. When I tried it defaulted to 20%. I found it surprising that I couldn't get out of there under $24.50 for a simple pancake platter! Ouch. Restaurant empty, which was fine for a personal call I intended to make!“

“IHOP is always a fun spot to take the kids when you’re ready for a sugar rush and stacks of fluffy pancakes. Honestly, I go there mostly because my kid wants to — and he loves it. For adults, the menu has plenty of solid breakfast and lunch options too. At this location I tried the egg white omelet, which was a healthy and tasty vegetarian pick.
It’s also worth noting that IHOP has been among the chains with the steepest menu price increases since 2020 (reportedly around +80%). Even so, the quality-to-price ratio stays fair, making it a reliable choice when you just need a casual meal that keeps everyone happy.“

“Jeremy's Coffee Shop is a great place to stop and get great food at a fair price. The portions are large and taste very good. The service is excellent. Good child menu and daily specials. The coffee is good and hot. Paved parking lot and street parking is also permitted.“

“Whenever we are even close to Downtown LA and staying in a hotel for a night or more, we have IHop delivered. It is just the best.
We have eaten at this one more than once and it is clean, the service just great and the whole place is very comfortable. The servers are always nice.
This time we had it delivered and it was, as always so good. They pack it all in such a way there is no way it can get ruined or food mixed with other food. The delivery is fast and I have never had an issue, not once.
This time we had burgers, which were so good with bacon and cheese. My grandson had a grilled cheese sandwich with French fries and he loved it. I am the huge pancake lover in the family so I had their big breakfast that comes with the best, most fluffy and perfect pancakes along with hash browns and bacon, ham and sausage. It was all great and I saved the meat for our dogs who were waiting for us to get home (we were at a hotel nearby).
It is just the best and the prices are so fair. You will pay much more for some fancy place, but their pancakes won't be as good.
We love it. We are addicted.“

“I've been meaning to stop by for months. This was a unique yet lovely experience.
Stand on line to place/pay for my order. Grabbed my number, took a few steps where I cured my coffee, needed additional napkins and my hot sauce. Next thing I know , this lovely plate was presented. Thanks to Hannah who was very helpful to me, while I decided my breakfast. I so enjoyed my meal. I didn't feel heavy.
In the middle of Toluca Lake, Sweet salt is a relaxing environment for solo eaters, get togethers and family dining. Stop by for lunch and dinner.“
