We had a reservation for 745pm they did not seat us until 817pm. They asked if we wanted to get a glass of wine while we wait which sounded liked they would comp it but they didn’t.
Our waiter checked in once, wasn’t super engaging, and was talking at the front of the restaurant with other staff for most of the time.

Food was really good which is why I gave it 4 stars vs 3. Particularly enjoyed the snapper. We also had the oxtail dumplings, crab cake and the strawberry dessert, all were very enjoyable“

“I had a wonderful stay at Malibu Beach Inn! The hotel facilities were truly exceptional. The location right on the beach is absolutely stunning, and the views from the rooms are breathtaking. The rooms themselves are elegantly decorated and extremely comfortable, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was enjoyable. One of the highlights of the stay was meeting Realda. She was the most gracious host and her attention to detail was incredible. She kindly upgraded our room as it was my sisters birthday, we had a cake in the room along with a sweet birthday card. She packed up a bag of towels and freshly baked cookies we could enjoy on the beach. She was amazing! “The best place for an incredible night out in LA!

As soon as we parked the smell of the outdoor grill hit us. We knew we were in for something special.

We were sat immediately with a reservation, and had the best service. Mike was our waiter and was everything you want in a server and more. He was present but not overly so, he knew his wines well, and was clearly very passionate about the food. He’s service absolutely made our night!

The food was the only thing that overshadowed Mike’s excellence, every bite was divine.

We shared the hummus toast, zucchini, Japanese, sweet potato, Shishito peppers. And for mains enjoyed a chicken skewer, lamb chops, and ribeye.

The lamb was seasoned and cooked perfectly, being my best bite of the night, but the chicken skewer won the hearts of the larger group.

We finished off with their chocolate cake which was perfectly gooey in the center.

There is so much more I would come back for. The atmosphere was just spectacular! Beautiful outdoor seating area, suitable for larger groups or small tables. Good music and great vibes.

All in all I’m just upset that I didn’t come try this place sooner. Definitely going to be a staple of mine moving forward.

“Absolutely delicious and fresh food! We stayed at Viceroy so every morning breakfast was at Sugar Palm. Nice ambience, indoor and outdoor seating, bar seating as well. Staff were welcoming and very friendly, they make sure your experience is great. Kids loved the food too!“

“I ordered online. My food was ready when I went to pick it up. The staff was nice. I enjoyed my breakfast burrito. It was huge and yummy. It took me two days to finish it. My significant other didn't enjoy his as much. I did have a problem with finding this establishment. Because when I ordered the BAB burritos (the name of the breakfast burrito) I thought that was the name of the place too.🤭 So I was shocked to find out it was the hot dog place.
I noticed it was a shared parking lot. Just a bit confusing.“

We didn't want to make it hard for them so we just ordered breakfast for dinner and it was delicious! We are picky in our bacon and hashbrowns and want them cooked very crispy. They were the best we ever had! The next day we came back for breakfast for real and pretty much ordered the same thing. Unfortunately it must have been a different cook. Although it was good and plentiful it was not cooked as nicely as the night before. Definitely NOT a deal breaker cause Henri's is really very good and the staff is exceptionall - both visits. We could tell it is a local favorite and that is always a good sign.“

I added some bbq wings and some spicy wings and onion rings. Everything was on point! The staff was friendly and the wagyu burgers are some of the best the city has to offer! I love Nip and the Marathon brand! This is my new favorite restaurant!“

I called around to several places and with very slow response times and abruptness directing me back to the website for Uber delivery. Many times. And will do it again. We've been to the Ivy's in Beverly Hills the night before. It would be totally unfair to compare on a mere culinary basis. “This place feels seedy from the outside and dated and unwelcoming when you step in. Don’t let that fool or stop you. Once you’re in and seated you realize most everyone is a regular, and the staff is warm and welcoming. And the food is seriously stellar. I had the Bullet (their original recipe since 1954), my girlfriend the Huevos Rancheros. You can taste the time and care that goes into making everything from scratch. I don’t usually go places more than once but look forward to becoming a regular here and trying more on the menu.“

“For it being u first timing dining out for Thanksgiving I was worried that the nostalgic feeling of a family gathering would be missing but I was definitely wrong. Everyone in the restaurant was having a great time and you could feel all the love and energy in the air. Started with some sourdough and truffle butter and some mezcal cocktails. Both were amazing. Dinner consisted of a 3 course menu and between our party, we were able to cover all items offered. The appetizers were a choice of scallops, crab cake, or pumpkin ravioli. All 3 were so delicious that we wish we don't want to share haha. The main courses were turkey, osso-bucco, or aJohn Dory fish plate. Again, all 3 were so delectable but the turkey and osso bucco were stars because they came with heaping sides. We paired our dinner with a couple bottles of Pinot noir from France. Dessert had a pumpkin pie, French applie pie, or a dark chocolate ganache tart. The pumpkin pie was probably the best I've had. The apple pie was also very good. The ganache tart was decent but very strong chocolate and orange flavors which I wasn't quite ready for. Service was excellent from all staff members and the decor gave you this feeling like you were at home. I will definitely be coming back to have a regular dinner because everything was on point.“

I've been to West Restaurant several times in the past and have always loved their food, drinks, the ambiance and their amazing 280 degree views of the surrounding cities and beyond what the eyes can capture...just remarkable and beautiful 😍. It's the perfect place for a date, birthday and anniversary dinners, dinner with friends or if you want to treat yourself to a good meal and drink(s), that works, too. So, I decided this was the perfect place to have our mother's 87th birthday dinner last week and it did not disappoint 10 years later! The food was even more delightful and scrumptious than what I had experienced years earlier. They even offer a fantastic happy hour that ends at 6 pm on Sundays and we just made the cut, lol. What contributed to this memorable experience other than enjoying a delicious meal and conversation, was how much my mom loved it ❤️. That was our goal, and the mission accomplished! My mom is very well-traveled and has an exquisite and mature pallet and this restaurant exceeded her expectations in every way possible. Needless to say, my mom is already making plans to return with a few of her closest buddies so, they, too can have the awesome experience at West Restaurant she did. And might I add, it was my sister, cousin and son's first time as well and they all agreed that the food was undeniably tasty and flavorful. Lastly, the valet offers 2 or 2.5 hours of free parking with validation only. That's a huge plus! West is now in the top 5 of my favorite restaurants and I will be back!“
