“I've only been three times so far, and I've had their bacon burger, eggs with hash browns and bacon, and their grilled chicken sandwich. Everything tasted amazing. They have breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu, so it's surprising that everything is made to order and tastes great. Usually with large menus, the quality goes down, but that's not the case here. The prices are also very good. I think I saw a help wanted sign still up, and I wouldn't want them to close. I'll be going more.“

“My brother and I had the most amazing night of superb jazz and food this past Sunday, entertained by Betty Bryant and ensemble. Her fingers moved like liquid gold on the keyboard and her compositions were witty and mesmerizing. The word that kept coming to mind as they performed was "subtle." The music was powerful, but so discrete as to be gentle and gentile. Woodwinds, Bass, and Drums - all played with the kind of delight that makes everyone love the performers as well as the music. As for food, one dish stood out particularly: the creamed spinach with blue cheese. Please tell Chef I would love that recipe! I'm back home in Tennessee now and plan to attempt to copy it, but having the authentic recipe to serve to friends when we entertain would be over the top! “The fact this didn’t pop up for best restaurants in Burbank when searching google and TikTok is a travesty. This was phenomenal in every way and the owner genuinely seems to enjoy what he does. Everything is made in house including their sauces, the meat they used is displayed. If houses around here didn’t cost 1M I’d move here and eat this every day.

P.S. House sauce is amazing and the images pictured is the classic smash burger with an extra patty and the pastrami burger (which the wife loved)“

“EXCELLENT experience!!! We went here for my birthday dinner and not only was the food delicious and fresh, but the service was INCREDIBLE. We ordered one small drink, the burrata, meatballs, and tagliatelle, and our waitress (Kristin?) also brought us a comped cauliflower just because she wanted us to try her favorite thing. I forgot names, so sorry, but we interacted with a hostess, our main waitress, and another girl who were all so sweet and kind. They also ended up bringing us out an extra penne dish (not pictured). My daughter ordered the seasonal sorbet (peach-blood orange), and then they also brought me out a scoop of housemade vanilla ice cream to top off my birthday celebration. The service we received was really spectacular.

“It's rare when every plate you order is great but from the appetizer to salad to entree to cocktail to dessert --everything was delicious. The biscuits and ham were fantastic. The wedge salad had great flavor contrasts. I had the stroganoff which was fantastic, highly recommend it. My lady had the flat iron steak which was generous and had an excellent char. I had the rum drink where the surfer's go, and it was hard not to order another one!

“Burger was good. For some reason, not as good as it used to be a few months ago tastewise. Bun, was unfortunately soggy as usual.

Staff there is fantastic, WELL TRAINED and is attentive. It's your customers' needs all of the time, so I know they're trained properly, as I have been a corporate trainer for restaurant chains.

Would be great if they stopped cooking fries & chips with deadly seed oils and used Healthy Beef Tallow instead. If they truly care - I'm certain they'll get their act together soon.

And I hope that they stop making the buns so soft that the beef, patty, it causes it to be very soggy.

Some people think that's the way a burger. It's supposed to be, but it's not. I've made plenty avergers at home, that are never soggy. Even when we ordered the buns well toasted, they still wind up soggy, half the time.“

“I went here to get a quick coffee (Americano) and a tiramisu. The coffee was actually good, and the tiramisu also tasted good! But what I love about this place is that they made the tiramisu take out special by adding whipped cream around the tiramisu (NOT on, don’t worry) so that there wouldn’t be empty space.

The owner of Bon Vivant was SO nice. A very sweet man. The service was great, even for take out.“

• 2 empanadas
• 1 soup or salad
• can of soda
I tried the beef and spinach+cheese empanadas. Both were good, my favorite was spinach & cheese- creamy and flavorful. I tried the lentil soup, not bad but not my favorite and will pass next time and stick to just empanadas.“

I had the Field Chicken. The sautéed mushroom topping was very tasty. The chicken was pretty good quality. Not excellent, but I don't expect excellent in a diner. The green beans were not that tasty and were probably cooked a few hours earlier. The mashed potatoes and gravy were pretty good.

A friend had the Broasted Chicken. I tasted it and really liked it. The chicken was super tender and juicy. The breading was a little greasy, but not nearly as greasy as a lot of places.

The staff was very attentive and nice. Definitely no complaints there.

Parking lot in the back. Lots of parking and easy in and out.

“Waiter was extremely rude. It was my birthday and she treated us horribly. To top it all off at the end she brought out the double chocolate cake with ice cream with NO candle. We asked her for the candle immediately and it took her over 15 minutes to bring the candle for us. The ice cream was completely melted by the time she brought the candle. Utterly rude and disrespectful. Never will be back. I hope the management sees this message and fixes their waiters attitudes.“
