“Ramen done right!
This beautiful cozy ramen spot is just perfect in every way. Their appetizers are great, service and ambience simply the best and the ramen? S tier.
Creamy rich flavorful broth, tender pork cha shu. And noodles are just the right thickness.
Best ramen spot in LA.
Definitely coming back for more. The staff are so kind the service is speedy.“

“I fear that sometimes, we all give high ratings to vegan restaurants, despite their being less than great, just to be encouraging for the team. This place, however, is legit amazing. Flavorful, fresh, and a wonderful, genuine bowl of noodles. If you’re on the fence, wondering about the authenticity of all of the glowing Redwhite Boneless reviews, I would just give it a try.“

“Whenever we feel lazy driving to Little Tokyo for some authentic tasting ramen, R101 in Glendale has been our go to. We first discovered this restaurant through online ordering during the start of the Covid pandemic. Every time we ordered here since then, the food and service have always been consistent. I highly recommend this place to get your ramen fix. No other ramen place in Glendale can taste as good as this!“

“The service was excellent. The meal was delicious. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained. I visited here three times: alone and with friends and coworkers. I ordered extra spicy Blaze ramen with pork and extra bamboo shoots. I wholeheartedly recommend this place.“
“My local ramen spot in Valley Glen, Los Angeles, California on the border of Van Nuys and neighboring North Hollwood. Ramen Izakaya is great from take out or dine with a plethora of beverage options as well as eats. Available through doordashz grubhub and ubereats this small chain biz has an incredible creamy vegan ramen, spicy lemon grass ramen, veggie spring rolls, tofu nuggets, shishito peppers, edamame, rice bowls, salads, soups and lots of traditional Japanese and ramen dishes that will please your taste buds times two. They have some decent outdoor seating, but incredibly indoor and a huge parking lot in back. The service is always good and usually very personable. A unique Japanese cuisine eatery with some LA Valley flavor and modern plant-based flare.“

“The menu is unique and named creatively, which I found charming. The food was well-made, and made in ample time. The service was amazing and the cashier walked me through the process, being very nice the whole time. The roll I ordered and the tea were delicious, and I'd love to come by again soon.“

“Had an amazing experience at Shiso Sushi Sherman Oaks The sushi was extremely fresh, high quality, and beautifully prepared. You can really taste the quality of the fish in every bite.
The service was friendly, professional, and attentive, and the overall atmosphere was clean and relaxing. Everything we ordered came out fresh and delicious.
Definitely one of the better sushi spots in Sherman Oaks if you’re looking for quality sushi and great customer service. Highly recommended.“

“Don’t let the chill vibe fool you—Fish on Rice knows exactly what it’s doing. Whether you’re here for a quick sushi fix or drowning in a “need ramen now” mood, this place delivers with quiet confidence and bold flavor.
The sushi? Super fresh, well-portioned, and not trying to be trendy—just really solid quality. I tried the salmon belly nigiri and almost ordered a second round mid-bite. The rolls are generous without being sloppy, and you can taste the care in every cut.
And the ramen? Rich broth, perfect egg, and noodles that don’t go soggy halfway through. The tonkotsu hits all the cozy, savory notes, especially on a cooler night.
Staff is friendly, fast, and always seem like they actually like working there, which makes a difference. The vibe’s casual, clean, and perfect for a solo meal, date night, or spontaneous sushi stop.
📍 Pro tip: Sit at the bar if you want to watch the action—and don’t skip the spicy tuna crispy rice.“

“Definitely grab the lunch combo for the value alone. The ramen didn't blow me away, but that pork bowl was incredible. I also tried a smoked salmon Philly roll for the first time, something different from the usual raw salmon. It’s a super chill spot if you need a break from the busy street outside.“

“Good ramen, next time I go here, I'm getting the sushi, nice feel to the restaurant, but it's rather small, very few tables, the tonkatsu broth was delicious, and the chashu in the ramen was out of this world compared to other places, strongly suggest giving it a try“

“I stopped in on a rainy afternoon and placed my order at 1:15 PM. Unfortunately, I wasn’t informed when my food was ready, and it ended up sitting there without me realizing. It would have been nice if someone had let me know. Clear communication would have made the experience much better.“

“I took a friend to the AYCE dinner. It was a busy Friday night. I had to park after dropping off my companion so I don't know how bad the wait was for our table but there were lots of people waiting. Once I sat down to the menu, I noticed that prices rose in the last year. The staff were attentive and helpful.
We ordered a large amount of sushi, mostly rolls with some sashimi. Food started arriving quickly and continued for a while. The variety of sauces on the different rolls surprised my taste buds. Dinner was great! We finished off with a matcha macaron.“

“We ordered baked rolls, Dragon rolls, ramen, and Dynamite. Unfortunately, the Dynamite with scallops was dry and not tasty. The baked rolls also seemed to be made with not very fresh rice. The ramen was okay, but the one in Burbank is much tastier.
We would rate this place 3/5.
Also, there were no high chairs for kids, which made it very uncomfortable to visit with a small child.“

“Yes it’s to-go only. Yes it’s still amazing, I love coming here for thai food. Nui is such a kind and thoughtful person, I have never had a bad experience with anyone from the ThaiMeUp! staff. The appetizers are amazing, i’ve tried every single one. My favorite dishes are always the curry or noodle entrees, yellow curry or pad thai. One of the main reasons I come here so much is that I get to choose how spicy I want the food to be, a lot of other thai restaurants will let you order “spicy” and they just add a mound of black pepper. Not here. If i want spicy I’m guaranteed a delicious floral spice that burns my face and can even clear out my sinus. I love the fact that they do not gate keep the spice levels here. You get what you want and what you ordered. I’ve been going here for over a year now since I moved to LA and I make it a point to come once a month at the very least, at one point i was going once a week. I should have done this review a lot sooner, I feel like the ThaiMeUp! staff deserves their own sit down restaurant were they can provide their food to a much larger audience. I will come here for as long as those doors are open, i love coming to eat here and have easily had my friends try it just to tell me they love it as well. This is the best for great and consistent thai food.“
