Ray & Mark went above and beyond in making our daughter-in-laws 50th birthday celebration special. The 50th balloons, cake accessories, & gift card were unexpected & appreciated. This is a place to go for a special celebration! Chef Joseph prepared a variety of delicious boards & more. They truly give top notch attention to detail & service. Highly recommend!“

“Went to Cozy Pine for date night and we enjoyed it. Really feels like you are in a different place, inside a restaurant. Decor, cocktails and food were all great. Definitively worth stopping in.
Food is mostly “snacky” compared to Bacchus outside. We did not have a reservation and we’re still able to get seated, likely because we arrived early in the evening.“

“This place was surprisingly cool. They don't have a TON of options, which I found strange for a wine-forward place, but the options we got we enjoyed. Unfortunately, there was only one person working there who I guess is in charge of also making food (which I don't totally understand?) so service took forever. As a result, we were charged happy hour prices, which was nice.

We went here waiting for a table next door for pizza, so for that reason it's definitely worth checking out. They had a movie playing on one of the walls, which was cool. And the vibe itself is cool, the inside has a lot going on and a lot to look at. We sat outside, which wasn't the best as it's right next to a parking lot but certainly still a nice option for outdoor seating.

If you're coming to this shopping center to have dinner, I do think it's worth stopping in.“

“stopped here 2 days ago at my arrival to john wayne and again when leaving today. Having a wine place at the airport is amazing, coming from someone who lives in wine country. also great vegetarian options. cannot wait to come back to OC to fly into john wayne and stop here. “My fiance and I were in the area for my nephew's wedding. On Sunday morning, we looked for a breakfast location. We prefer the small local restaurants as opposed to the chains. Up popped this Laguna Cafe, close by where we were staying. From the time we entered the door, it was obvious we picked the right spot! it was cozy, homey, friendly and downright delicious. The clientele were all laughing, enjoying the morning and the atmosphere. We got served by Monja, the proprietor, who wore a shirt with our favorite scripture, John 3:16. As we bowed our heads to pray, she gently joined us in prayer. What a blessing. Needless to say, we will go back when in the area. Highly recommend the food too! And say Hi to Monja from Mark and Dianne from Arizona!“

“This is my favorite restaurant! I loved it back when it was on Bristol, but I have been back to the new Red Hill location twice now and it is even more of a special dining experience. Massimo has come out to explain the history of the wine and food and the sources of his ingredients. He tells wonderful stories with a great sense of humor, and his daughter who helps serve is also very knowledgeable and delightful. I feel transported and hosted in a way I have never experienced in a restaurant. The food is amazing. The fresh handmade pasta melts in your mouth. We have eaten every dessert and they are all spectacular. Every wine and appetizer we have tried has been extraordinary. I couldn't recommend this place more.“

“This was a wonderful find. The menu and food are simple ingredients but they did a great job with flavor, texture, and temperature. All the dishes we ordered were delicious.

“This is a very traditional and authentic Italian restaurant. Their pasta is made fresh daily and have lots of other meal options like beef ribs with risotto, calamari, salads and serve a kids menu aswell. Only open in the later afternoon hours 5:30 to 9ish. I had the lentil and pasta fagioli and it was amazing (on two different occasions) Dinner portions are small so you will have room for one of their desserts. Come on payday because its on the pricey side. Unless you order like normal people, not like us having soup, salad, entree and dessert. Really a neat place for a candle light dinner. Plenty of parking and the staff is really on their A game, Ol' time kinda service checking on you and making sure your cup is always full. The place has lots of Italian charm. They also offer a few dishes table side that I will try next payday 😉. Had a really good experience here.“

“How have we not noticed this place before now. We took an evening stroll and then stopped by this restaurant. They have 2 window seats which is nice to get some fresh air and people watch.

We were told that the food was great so we decided to sit down. They have a wide variety of food items and I'm sure the drinks are good but we don't drink.

I opted for the ahi sandwich and I could get it protein style which I appreciate with a side salad. It was really tasty. The ahi wasn't fishy. The thicker section did get a little chewy but that was the next day since I couldn't finish it all. I wish I had more sauce though since it was tasty. My friend got the burger with fries and thought it was good as well.

It can get loud when the middle table has guests, something w/the acoustics. But a fun vibe. There was a waitlist when we left.“

“Great happy hour and good food. We went here while staying at the hotel for our Disney trip and it ended up being our groups rest spot after a long day. If you're going to get a specialty cocktail, the Smoky Sparrow was really smooth and the aromatics were wonderful. The server/bartender Zaira was really attentive and kind to our group with toddlers.“

“The girlfriend and I just moved here and checked this place out as it was close to home and had great reviews.

I had the smash burger and she had the chicken sandwich; both were delicious and the fact that they offer sweet potato fries is a plus. Extra points for the ranch, which was some of the best I’ve had and I never have ranch with anything.

Bartender didn’t have what I wanted but suggested an alternative and we both liked it.

Everything is done thoughtfully: the service is excellent, the decor/ambiance/vibes are cozy, warm and inviting. The food and drinks are seriously next-level. If it’s your first time, please go on a Friday or a Saturday night, get yourself a seat at the bar and enjoy live music, a perfect (slightly dirty) Hendricks martini with 2 blue cheese olives and an order of escargot.
