“We have been working with Haute Chefs LA for at least 9 years!
Haute Chefs are always the first on my list when I have to cater a dinner or event.

Their prices are incredibly reasonable for everything you get, but lets be honest, we're here to talk about their food. Their food is always delicious and portions VERY generous. Their presentation is also something you can't forget about, we eat with our eyes first.

They have also become very conscientious of people's dietary needs over the years that I never have trouble finding gluten-free or vegan options on their menu for those with dietary restrictions.

I was going to list some of my personal favorites, but then the list got very long. However, you can't go wrong with their roasted cauliflower, steak & shrimp. Their charcuterie & cheese board is also very beautiful and delicious with the freshest in-season fruits. Their menu has something for everyone, and they are willing to take any other adjustment should you need them for one reason or another.

“Let me start off by saying that it is hard finding authentic soul food outside of the south. With that being said, my meal was hot and flavorful. I had the tri tip with Mac and cheese, greens, cornbread and a cucumber/onion salad with a side of Suela’s signature Hennessy sauce. Everything was delectable, well seasoned and I would definitely order again. The Mac and cheese is definitely grandma approved! I didn’t get any dessert but maybe next time I’ll try a pie or the cobbler. Suela’s soul food does not miss so give it a try!!“

Chef David’s storytelling brought the meal to life as he shared the Nigerian roots and cultural significance behind each dish, which made the experience so much more meaningful and engaging. Learning about the history and traditions connected to the food added a beautiful depth to the evening.

The company was wonderful, creating a warm, communal atmosphere that felt both welcoming and memorable. And the food was absolutely outstanding. The flavors and spices were rich and perfectly balanced, with the honey bean couscous, bread, and jollof standing out as unforgettable highlights. They were incredibly accommodating of my dietary restrictions, as well.

There are many choices for different types of menus, and they will work with you if there is something special that you would like. All of their dishes are delicious!

I had they're tacos today. Their grill cheese, Mac and cheese and BLT were all really good too.

The permanent red carpet is such a brilliant idea to glam up any event. However, when you are approaching this venue, the street looks a bit sketchy. “The service was VERY friendly. My server, and several others, greeted me with genuine smiles. Started with Warak Enab Dolma/Sarma (stuffed grape leaves), which were excellent. They are the non-vinegar type which I much prefer, firm with plenty of rich olive oil. Then the Sea Bass entrée. Two full filets traditionally seasoned, a large salad, and potatoes. The tomatoes are perfect! Beautiful tea service. Very quaint atmosphere, friendly staff with genuine smiles, everything well presented. Will definitely be back. The ingredients were fresh, the service was top-notch, and his staff was both professional and friendly. Beyond catering, David truly cared for the entire flow of the venue—his experience in the wedding industry really shined, especially since many of my other vendors were beginners.

During the reception, he was constantly walking around, checking in, and making sure every table was taken care of. That level of attention gave me so much peace of mind on such an important day.
