“I called on a Friday and did an order for a cake for about 15-20 people; that I needed for Sunday. My son is turning five. So I asked for a CINCO DE MAYO themed cake OR more like a Mexican fiesta cake.. I asked fortres leches cake with strawberries inside and let me tell you guys they did not let down!! Wow it was so moist and it's not too sweet but it's not to blande either. It's just the right sweetness! This is a hidden gem in the San Fernando Valley. I will be going for their cakes more often now because I actually enjoyed them and so did my family.“

“Porto’s cortadito coffee is one of my favorites!!! Their mocha is so yummy too. Huge fan of their pastries especially the croissants, cheese roll and guava strudel with cheese! The chicken croquette and spinach feta empanada are also incredible! Go here on a weekday to avoid extremely long lines.“

“This was my first time here and I'm super impressed! From the outside of the building to the clean and bright inside, it was a treat coming here. I got an assortment of pastries and desserts and I wasn't disappointed with any of my choices. I couldn't tell you the names of the desserts I took home except for the baklava but picking them out just based on how delicious they looked was definitely exciting and fun. I love trying new things, especially other culture's food and Le Gout doesn't disappoint when it comes to their desserts. I'll have to come back for the food, it all looked very good. “We love Half Baked! We discovered it, ironically enough, just months before I was diagnosed with Celiac in 2016. Luckily, they have gluten free options a plenty. Of all the gluten free bakeries nearby, they were THE most affordable for wedding cakes. We collaborated with Natalie who was with us from day one. She is wonderful - so understanding and supportive. Half Baked's execution of our vision onto 3 elegant cakes was lovely and classy. The GF spice with cream cheese was the best - our very favorite! There were some unfortunate issues with the other two cakes, but Natalie assisted us thoughtfully and ultimately provided us with an ample solution. We have loved Half Baked since we discovered them. We highly recommend them for events or anytime, especially if you need delicious gluten free options that won't break the bank!“

“This is actually one of the nicest BR I have been to, ever. It is very modern with dine in, carryout, AND drive-through options. It is clean and well lit as well as well stocked. I liked this place because they had a lot of other dessert treats besides just ice cream. Treats like their standard ice cream cakes and bananas, but also different ones like their mango fruit bars and mini personal ice cream cakes. The service was ok. There were four employees, and it seemed that if you don't let someone help you right away, you may have to wait a bit. I think just know what you want when you get there and it should work out fine. Also, I'm not sure about your local BR, but ours does not accept the deals offered through the app on our phones. I suppose they are an independently owned BR? “Great lil mom-and-pop bakery! Service is great and has a large shared parking lot. This is a no-frills kind of bakery. Generally, what they offer aren't fancy but are solid basic korean-style pastries. I especially like their white bean pastry. And my goodness, they do not skimp on their fillings! Just that alone will have me coming back. Haven't gotten their cakes but they look nice and are fairly priced. They also sell coffee and korean shaved ice, which I'll have to try one day! I'll keep coming back as long as they're open :)“

“Menchies menchies menchies How do I love you. I been coming here for over 10+ years and everytime I come here I get excited to see the toppings and the different flavors. My go to are: Vanilla + chocolate + original tart W/ cherries W/ nuts, walnuts, almonds and chocolate chips I been taking my kids here forever and they would always write on the chalkboard.
