“We stopped in for lunch the other day. Parking can be tough because the parking lot is quite small. The restaurant itself is small but I love the artwork on the walls.

We got a sushi burrito. It was really hefty and filled with lots of fresh ingredients. The poki is definitely sashimi-grade quality. Get the hot cheetos dust on the outside.

We also got an order of poki nachos. These were large and in charge. Once again, super fresh ingredients and lots of poki. The four option size is more than enough for two hungry people to share.

Friendly service and delicious food will make this your go-to poki spot in North Hollywood.“

Oh my gosh, it was divine! The uni was so fresh and creamy and the pasta itself was cooked just right. Every bite was an explosion of flavor. We also tried the baked lasagna and it was delightful. The layers were perfectly balanced and each bite was full of rich, savory flavors. Let's not forget dessert! We shared a few different things and they were all great. The tiramisu was fluffy and decadent and the chocolate mousse was rich and smooth. Overall, Angelini Osteria is definitely a must-try for Italian food lovers in Los Angeles. “I’d been meaning to try Maury’s for a long time and finally made it.

Everything tasted fresh and exactly what I expected from a good bagel shop. I had the Lox open and really enjoyed it.

Coffee was good too. I always wish places served a bigger cup, but it did the job.

One thing that really stood out was how fast everything was. Ordered, got my food, and was eating within minutes. I appreciate that.

There are only outdoor tables, so don’t count on getting a seat if it’s busy. Also no restroom or sink, so come with clean hands.

They also have refrigerators with juices, smoked salmon, pickles, and other things to take home.

Definitely a place I’ll come back to and try more of the menu.“

“The signature dish is the crab in sauce, which comes in medium and large sizes. medium is two crabs with two bowls of rice, and large is three crabs. Compared with other Korean restaurants, the sauce crab taste is mild, and it will not be salty enough to explode in the middle of the meal and cannot continue to eat. The crab is fresh, not fishy, and the meat is firm, not squishy. The crab meat is also very full, the crab legs are full, there is no empty shell crab. The sea urchin rice is a little smaller but the sea urchin is enough. regular sea urchins are not particularly sweet, but they are fresh and worth the price. The sea urchin Rice bowl combo will be served with steamed eggs, runny eggs and two prawns in sauce. Raw marinated salmon rice is amazing to me. There is some seating outside and you can people watch but the star of all of this is incredible food just the way his beloved Grandmother made.“

“Bacari Sherman Oaks was the most incredible dining experience I have had in a very long time. It was more than just great food. The staff at Sherman Oaks created a complete experience with ambiance, fantastic service, and creative dishes to choose from.

The ambiance is energetic yet relaxed, and the Mediterranean-inspired small plates are incredibly creative and fun to share. Every dish we tried was outstanding. Our server, I believe her name was Mallery, was absolutely fantastic. Her warmth, enthusiasm, and attention to detail elevated an already amazing meal into something truly special.

Congratulations to the Bacari team for building something so unique. Bacari delivers an experience well beyond great food. I will enthusiastically recommend Bacari to everyone I know who visits Los Angeles, and I'll definitely be back when I'm in town.

“I just had lunch with my two daughters, ages 12 and 15. It was our first time here.

We ordered three plates: two 3-birria taco combo plates and one order of vampire tacos with chorizo. We tried all the sauces that came with them, along with a 24-ounce horchata.

My girls and I are usually pretty loud. We talk. We’re animated. We gush over the food.

But when we ate these tacos, we ate in silence because the food was that good. To speak would have taken us out of the moment. So we said nothing. We just sat there, lost in our own thoughts, luxuriating in tender meats, spicy red sauce, and complex flavors.

This is how you get tweens to enjoy family time: really good tacos.

And guess who told me about this place? The 12-year-old. Apparently, it’s trending. I recommend it too.“

“I have been going to Porto's since the 1980's..the one in Glendale. How elated I was with having them being in Northridge where I live. The food is terrific and the lines go fast due to a tremendous quick system they have. The catering for parties has never let us down and people you have invited that never have experienced Portos are thrilled. The cakes are delicious. What I do miss is not having the individual cake slices for purchase so you can experience the taste. They only have the neapolitan, Parisian, and carrot for slices. I've seen the menu change over time and do miss some of the items.“
