“One of my favorite ice cream places was Ici’s in Berkeley but it suddenly closed a few years ago. I’ve been looking for a place to fill that void and perhaps find closure. Well, I found closure and a new magical ice cream experience in Sunset Blvd. Eating their ice cream for the first time felt like that scene in the film Ratatouille where the food critic takes a bite and flashes back to his childhood.
I live 6 hours away, but always make sure to stop by when I’m visiting. I was going to give up ice cream for lent, but knew I wouldn’t be strong enough to skip Fluffy McCloud’s! Already looking forward to my next visit!“

“I don't know why it took me so long to write my appreciation for this place, Alessandro and Alejandra. Maybe because I am Italian, and we are not frequent reviewers! But you all need to trust me. This is the BEST gelato shop you can possibly find in Los Angeles...and the United States. They also offer flavors that I never had in my homeland, Italy. Like their white chocolate/passion fruit. Sublime. And their hazelnut? Divine.
Get pints of those! And of coconut...and of dark chocolate...“

“Nice Indonesian ice cream spot. It is small tiny shop next to coffee shop and it serve vegan ice cream. The seating place is at the street level. It doesn't have many choices but it is interesting they shave Indonesua palm broen sugar as garnish. Eventhough it is vegan ice cream, the taste is like regular ice cream. Pricewise it is quite high.“

“A friend recommended this place claiming it’s one of the best ice creams worldwide. I wanted to try, so I ordered child’s size Vegan Belgian Chocolate, Cioccolato Belga, since they added this non-diary version to the menu. OMG and thank you! It’s unbelievable how good it is! So rich and delicious.The guy reaction who was sitting next to us was the same: “it’s really good!”. Go, and try. You can thank me later ?
Vegetarian options: Vegan options are Sorbets and Vegan Belgian Chocolate. Not many but still absolutely worth a try!“

“Bacio di Latte is becoming a fast growing chain with a few stores opened in LA and in a few other cities across California.
But don’t get me wrong, although they have expanded, their ice cream are staying absolutely delicious. My personal favorite is the Belgian chocolate one. You can try it in a regular cup, or get some Nutella or pistachio cream added to it for even more flavor.
This location offers a few sitting area both indoor and outdoor. You will need to find to park on San Vicente boulevard or in the surrounding street.“

“Delicious and creamy gelato. I got the dark chocolate and pistachio scoops on a pistachio filled waffle bowl. The gelato wasn't too sweet and the staff let us try a lot of different flavors. I really liked the hazelnut flavor too. Hit the spot after a ramen dinner.“

“Absolutely the best ice cream and service in LA. Every location is consistant and delicious. My only complaint is they discontinued the vegan mint chip!!! Bring it back! Absolutely yummy. And so great to kids. And their sprinkles don’t have the gross dyes in them so I can be fun mom.“

“Wow, wow and wow. Went to Salt & Straw for the second time ever, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The flavours on offer were so delicious, and I wish I could live in this place. “I came here to say, I have never heard of this brand before but last night while shopping at my local Jay C (kroger), I stumbled across the Gluten free Gooey Butter cake ice cream and i’m so very glad I did!!! it’s delicious!!!! It’s not often us Gf people get to have cake and I actually don’t care for ice cream. I rarely eat it but that has all changed thanks to Jeni’s. I love it so much I might have ate half of it in one sitting….we listen and we don’t judge 😝. A+++++++++. Please don’t stop making this!“

“TBH i was just sad stumbled upon this ice cream place and it had to be the lord to bring me to this angel, i sampled flavors with Chevy and honestly i dont remember how they tasted they weren't as memorable as she was man, she lifted my spirits that day with her smile her kind words and most of all her bright personality! I know it was the man above who drew me into Salt & Straw that day to be blessed hy the lovely chevy, she will always be a memory of an Angel from that day?.“

“Technically Beverly Hills is across the street, lol. It doesn't matter because the food is incredible. The meat ravioli is the best anywhere. They also offer a meatball the size of your fist.
Not sure if it's still the case, but they only accepted cash whenever I've eaten there. The place is a bit cramped and they always seem to be quite busy.“

“The Pricing of the is much lower than most places, you get the toppings for free with no cost extra. You get a lot of ice cream for $13 which you get 12oz for that much. Good choices of exterior to look a bit fancy at cheap for what it looks like“

“The cookies and cream ice cream is so good! They also give you a generous portion. The ice cream doesn’t melt easily even when we were eating outside in a hot weather. I have to mention they have a lot of vegan options too! And lastly, the staff is really nice which makes the overall experience really great. 😊“

“I absolutely love Somi Somi! Their soft serve is so yummy and super creamy. I always go for the matcha, which is my favorite, especially when it’s paired with their warm, golden taiyaki. They offer a great variety of flavors.
This location is tucked into one of my favorite neighborhoods in LA, and it’s always clean. The staff are super friendly and attentive. Somi Somi never disappoints.“

“This is my first time at salt and straw and it was so good ! What was even better was the customer service. They let me try whatever I wanted and never made me feel rushed. It’s so hard to find service like this and whoever trained these employees is doing the damn thing! 10/10 would recommend, and while your there, grab a waffle cone! They’re fresh!“

I had no idea it was vegan until I saw the reviews on here! I recommend pairing the Calamansi with the Matcha—it tastes like a matcha lemonade. Other than that, the ice cream was absolutely amazing.

Only street parking in Larchmont, so I wish you all the best.

A long line formed right after we arrived, but we noticed it was moving efficiently while we enjoyed our ice cream.
ATMOSPHERE
All outdoor seating, which is covered. Probably the most aesthetically pleasing architecture for an ice cream shop in LA.“

“This place is so fun, and a must visit if you’re in the area. On my last visit I brought some friends from out of town - we were served by Hayley who was really great and made it a special experience for them.
Best flavours imo are the lavender, olive oil, of the strawberry balsamic. Can’t go wrong.“
