“Our family wanted a wood burning pizza place after visiting Universal Studios and we found this little gem. It's really small inside, maybe only 3 tables, so we could tell it was more of a take out place. We were the only guests dining in. First off we ordered the recommended wood fired wings and they were SO good! Crispy and lots of meat. They are pretty plain with just maybe a dusting of salt and pepper, but it did come with ranch. The kids weren't too hungry so they just ordered a pepperoni and cheese slice. The adults ordered a mushroom and pepperoni. It was really good. It did get a little soggy near the end of the meal from the oil of the cheese and pepperoni, but still very good. If I lived in the area I would definitely be returning.“

“Of all the kosher pizza places in the valley, LA Pizza has the best pizza by far. I've been in the area for a couple of decades and I've tried all of the kosher pizza places out here. None of the other ones compare. The other places do weird stuff like have sweet crust or add sesame seeds to their crust or their crust is too thick or their sauce just ain't quite right. LA Pizza has pizza down. Plus, their salad dressing is pretty great too. That's why LA Pizza is still thriving even after that trash competitor restaurant opened up next door.Compared to non-kosher pizza restaurants, it is on the mid-expensive side but it's not more expensive than other kosher pizza spots out here.Maybe I'm semi-biased because I grew up going here and I met my first GF here but their pizza is the best in the area. I know pizza. Ask my ever-growing belly if you doubt.“

I drove by this place and said I am gonna go there as I drop off my last client. They were so kind, they let me use the restroom (which was for employees only), gave me a discount on a pizza and so I ate it from my hatchback. Top stars for service and for pizza in NoHo!“

“his is officially my favorite pizza in town. The crust has a perfect crunch on the outside and a nice chew inside. The sauce is clearly homemade — rich, slightly sweet, and perfectly spiced. I had the supreme pizza and every topping tasted fresh, especially the bell peppers and sausage. My order was ready in 15 minutes, piping hot and boxed with care. They even included a thank-you note in the box! That’s the kind of service that keeps me coming back.“

“We were treated here by one of my rich friends and honestly, that’s probably the only scenario where a place like this makes sense for treating the whole family out. My family has a very high bar for food. People say I’m picky, and I’m like, “Please… meet my mother.”

Service-wise, this place is flawless. The staff is charming, attentive, and somehow manages to make you feel both fancy and comfortable at the same time.

Since it’s family style, we shared practically everything and with a party of seven, those plates add up fast. By the time the table was full, the bill was basically giving luxury vacation energy.

Out of everything we tried, the Radiatori Braised Beef Ragu was the clear standout. Rich, comforting, and the kind of pasta that shuts everyone up at the table for a minute.

The Garlic Knot bread was good, though we weren’t big on the pieces with the garlic ends. After some research (and by research, I mean a heated family debate followed by frantic Googling), we realized that’s a pretty common thing in restaurants — just not our personal preference. Oh and the drinks were on point :)

Overall, a lovely, polished meal… definitely best enjoyed when someone else is picking up the tab.“

“Anyone that says the positive reviews are fake are jaded. Genuinely the best pizza I’ve had in LA, and the family that run it are wonderful, warm and hardworking people. I don’t think you have to compare it to NY pizza, it’s just standalone good—and you can tell a lot of care went into it. The quality and price is also great compared to other spots that charge $30+ for a pie. Sure it’s near the station, but there’s a parking lot you can quickly just stop in to pick up. It’s our new go-to pizzeria moving forward, and we’re happy to be able to support such a gem.“

“I first tried Pizzana when I was taken out for my 21st birthday a couple months ago. After realizing I couldn’t eat much anymore, a lot of alternatives made me nervous. But Pizzana’s vegan, gluten-free pizza was something I genuinely couldn’t stop thinking about.
Yesterday, I decided to order it online. I messed up my order and tried to fix it through Uber Eats, but the wrong one had already been sent out. Shortly after, Pizzana called me back and took care of everything with me. They were patient, kind, and incredibly compassionate.
When I showed up, my pizza was ready. The entire staff was overwhelmingly kind. The manager even apologized and thanked me for choosing Pizzana.
I’m being completely honest when I say I came home and cried. It’s rare to feel that cared for as a customer, especially when food can be such an emotional and stressful thing. “NYC cheese slices are my jam, and we have an embarrassment of riches in Sherman Oaks. Within a mile of each other, there are three, count 'em three, authentic NY slice shops. My son and I visited all three of them on a self-guided cheese slice tour of Sherman Oaks. Pizza Wagon was stop three on the tour!

The atmosphere is good...NY decor on the walls in what feels like a truly neighborhood / not-chain space. The service was great too...the staff worked quickly and were abundantly friendly and helpful.

They do a good job with authentic style slices...the right amount of crisp on the crust and a good ratio of sauce versus cheese. The chew was good, though both the crust and sauce don't quite have the superior flavor profile of the nearby places.

It's definitely a good alternative to those, though, and miles ahead of the major chain pizzas in terms of NY style.“

“Angelini Osteria totally lived up to the hype! We had a great dinner there that night and I can't wait to go back again soon. Let's start with the star of this show: uni pasta. Oh my gosh, it was divine! The uni was so fresh and creamy and the pasta itself was cooked just right. Every bite was an explosion of flavor. We also tried the baked lasagna and it was delightful. The layers were perfectly balanced and each bite was full of rich, savory flavors. Let's not forget dessert! We shared a few different things and they were all great. The tiramisu was fluffy and decadent and the chocolate mousse was rich and smooth. Overall, Angelini Osteria is definitely a must-try for Italian food lovers in Los Angeles. One of the best spur of the moment stops ever - we absolutely loved the pizza and the service was phenomenal, super sweet server. We ordered two pizzas - margarita and the chef’s special apple/walnut/kale/caramelized onion/goat cheese. They were both amazing! We eat a lot of pizza and definitely have a new top favorite. Outdoor seating has both stellar views and people watching; there is a cute patisserie down the street that’s an amazing desert stop for the perfect date night; we will definitely stop by next time we are in town!
