“5 stars for the delicious and high quality sushi. plus i have a gluten allergy and the chef/ server was super considerate and knew exactly what needed to be modified. my favorites were the bluefin tuna nigiri and the yellowtail hand roll (with soy paper), and i don’t typically like yellowtail.

however, i did not realize there was a 16% service fee included in the bill. it says so on the menu so that’s my oversight but at kazu nori, for example, the server tells you not to tip because of the service fee. so on the little screen i tipped 20% on top of the 16% service fee and tax. it’s my bad for not paying closer attention but they don’t verbally tell you either.“

“What an amazing experience at Meteora. I absolutely loved the atmosphere, the aesthetics of the decor, the service and the food. This was my second time here as I came shortly after they opened years ago and this time around was a delight. This immersive space is worth the reservation alone. It's so pretty and innovative. The ambience is so warm and welcoming. The manager is amazing as he was very attentive in meeting our request for specific seating. The servers were very friendly and knowledgeable about each entree. The wine pairing was perfect. I do have one critique regarding the meal. The Japanese Yam dish was served charred. I have a very refined palate and I could tell immediately that it wasn't charred but rather burnt. I could not eat the yam as it was quite bitter. Other than this hiccup, the meal was delicious. I truly enjoyed my second visit and will definitely return as well as recommend Meteora to friends and clients.“

“The little plates are yummy. I love the pita bread that came with the hummus (Salatim plate). The other plates were good also. I loved the bread pudding (I think it's better than the best cake). What I like the most about Bacari, besides the beautiful ambiance, is the friendliest staff.“

The Vegan breakfast sandwiches and drinks we ordered were so dang good and trust, we’re pretty spoiled with Vegan food in the PNW! The workers were incredible nice. I had they're tacos today. Their grill cheese, Mac and cheese and BLT were all really good too.

“Not a big fan of sitting on the side of street where people walk by and you intake that fumes coming from all these traffic. Got to sit inside by the bar, the food here is okay, but a bit pricey for what it's worth. Been to many affordable to very expensive sushi places in the U.S. and in Asia, this place is more IG/social media friendly picturesque place than an actual sushi/sashimi place. Not much nigiri/sashimi choices. Not a big fan of places that sell pre-made canned alcohol with an extreme markup.“

“I went to the Tonchin location in New York late last year, so I came into the Los Angeles location excited and with high expectations. The food was good overall. My wife did not quite understand the hype around it, but I personally thought it was solid, even though it did not stand out as much as the New York location.

Where the difference between the two locations stood out the most was in customer service. We had to wait nearly twenty minutes just to receive the check, and throughout the meal the server rarely came by to check on us. Because of this, the overall experience at the Los Angeles location fell short of what I experienced in New York.

Oh my gosh, it was divine! The uni was so fresh and creamy and the pasta itself was cooked just right. Every bite was an explosion of flavor. We also tried the baked lasagna and it was delightful. The layers were perfectly balanced and each bite was full of rich, savory flavors. Let's not forget dessert! We shared a few different things and they were all great. The tiramisu was fluffy and decadent and the chocolate mousse was rich and smooth. Overall, Angelini Osteria is definitely a must-try for Italian food lovers in Los Angeles. Just walking up to the restaurant is an experience in of itself with all the bright and vibrant colors coupled with great lighting and then the flavors starting hitting the nose to let you know you're in the right spot and the nose doesn't lie...it WAS the right spot. Ordered the Coconut Limeade which was STUPID GOOD, the Oxtail & Peppers Patty and the Honey Jerk Chicken comb which I subbed one side for the tostones and that was the best of presents I could've gave to myself because they were crazy delicious and also reminded me of an ex which twas a whole OTHER experience in of itself. Everything was seasoned well and each item complemented the other but and yes, buuut since we're in Hollywood, the starlet of this whole show, the chicken, wasn't all the way ready for the stage...the lower half had a mushy consistency while the upper thigh was just fine; it was strange and really bummed me out because it was close to a $50 takeout dinner and was almost 5 stars. Anywho, stuff happens but it took the motivation of me being a returning customer althoooough if I stare at the roti long enough, that could choice could very well change who knows. Stay up!“
