“What a great new addition to Brea! We were impressed by the quality and variety of their offerings. You order at the counter, grab a seat, and the team brings everything out fresh. We ordered the Beef Empanadas to start and we got these mains - Salmon Bowl, Peri Peri Chicken Plate, California Burger, Gaucho Steak Sandwich to share.

The Beef Empanada was so good, with the flakey crust. Our entire party really enjoyed all the dishes, the portions were generous and tasted delicious. We also got the Triple Chocolate Cookie which was the perfect finish.

Overall, this is a great option for lunch and dinner. They also have a nice patio that’s dog friendly. Their staff was ultra friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back!“

“Michelin-Level Experience at Outback Prices The Wild Artichoke in Yorba Linda is a hidden gem. I was expecting something entirely different — and was pleasantly surprised in the best possible way. We started with the smashed potatoes and endive salad, which made for perfect appetizers: light enough not to spoil our appetite, yet full of flavor to whet it. The portions were ideal for sharing with my wife. For our main courses, we ordered from the lunch menu. I had the Wagyu burger, and my wife went with the tempura fish and chips. I’m not sure how they did it, but every bite was incredibly well-balanced. The fish had a crispy exterior, just the right touch of Maldon salt, and a beautifully firm, flaky interior. The tartar sauce was exceptional — rich, creamy, and unlike any I’ve had before. The burger was a standout. Each ingredient was distinct and purposeful — no unnecessary fillers. Every component worked in harmony to deliver deep, layered flavors in every bite. We ended the meal with the Basque cheesecake, which was beautifully presented. It wasn’t overly sweet, and the perfectly burnt top paired wonderfully with the sweet berry compote. A special treat was getting to meet the head chef. What a pleasant surprise. He shared the story behind one of his dishes and mentioned that every item on the menu has its own story and purpose. That passion really comes through in the food. I’ve dined at many fine restaurants, and I can confidently say the quality here rivals places charging $150–$200 per plate. The value is extraordinary for the caliber of cuisine offered. “It had been nearly 15 years since my last visit. I must say the decor is exactly as I remembered. Took 3 minutes to be seated then we were greeted by the most friendly and attentive waiter I’ve EVER had at any restaurant . I’m a huge lover of the cabbage salad so I gorged on a big bowl before dinner. I ordered a medium rare fillet and potato and it was cooked to perfection. I so wish I lived nearby as I would pay it a regular visit. I’m so glad the Clearmans Northwoods inn has not been changed.“

“We love JB Burgers. Why? For one, the food is great. I get a steak sandwich all the time. No mayo, due to a diet constraint. Sometimes I'll get a bowl of chili ... or if I'm in the mood, I'll get a stack of french toast with my steak sandwich. Yes, that's a lot of food!

Steak sandwich - The french roll is good. The steak is a nice piece of meat and it has great flavor. They put tomatoes and lettuce. The tomatoes are good. The lettuce adds a crisp crunch, but there's a lot of white lettuce. The steak sandwich is a must!

My better half gets a guacamole burger. Tasty and the guac adds some healthiness AND the creamy texture replaces mayo, 1000 Island or any other sauce that's not healthy.

The chili is good! When it's chilly or on a rainy day, it's good comfort food!

French Toast - this is good stuff. They give you a lot and it's made well. Taste is really good and they use a thicker bread - yummm!

Now to the wonderful staff! 95% of the time we've had good to exceptional service. I order inside the restaurant - makes sense since we're eating inside. One time, this gal told me I could not order inside and she made me go outside to order. I told her I order inside all the time, but she didn't want to listen. I almost left, but I saw the familiar faces there, so I ordered outside. The next time I saw her there, she let me order inside.

I try to get to JB's at least once a week. They're my go to!

We started it the weekend of our 50th High School Reunion with dinner the night before our formal gala. We had our 70th birthday on the beautiful patio there 2 years later with a wonderful buffet dinner. We no longer have a committee planned reunion but we have committed to trying to make the Annual All Class Picnic and then having a no host gathering on the Club House 66 patio. This year there were 14 of us,74 year old, coming by after a day at Finkbiner Park to have drinks and dinner on a warm Indian Summer night to reminisce with childhood friends. Our server was Ruth and she was delightful and her team made us feel like royalty. They set up the table to greet the group and kept the drinks flowing , the water glasses full and brought us delicious food as we ordered it thoughout the night. Ruth made sure we each had our own bill. We didn’t even have to ask. We interacted with the other friendly families out on the patio and we all felt like we had come “home”. It was the perfect ending to a great day spent laughing about childhood memories and our journeys into adulthood. We will be back next year and plan to celebrate our Class of 1969’s 75th Birthday right there on that picturesque patio. Thank you Clubhouse 66, Ruth and the whole team who made us feel so special. ♥️“

“This Applebees was a little different.......I was served a slightly cool beer with a head on it.......glass was not cold.......I brought it to the bartenders attention and told her just make sure the next one was good........next one was good but it had a big on it and when I mentioned it to the bartender she said the last one did too and I accepted it......she was right“

“I’ve had breakfast at the Toast in Whittier and this one. Both have great breakfast. This Restaurant is much bigger and it’s very clean. The servers are friendly, however, I felt like they worked at a slower pace compared to the Toast in Whittier. The breakfast was awesome!“
