There is a boy with such a friendly peculiarity. In case it happens that he serves you, his name is Jose. I even took a photo of him so that you can recognize him when you visit this establishment.“

Which brings me to my next minus, the rushed service! We had 5 entrees and drinks served to us in under an hour! There was no time between courses and we felt very rushed. Steak was good but the sides were a bit disappointing. I had expected a bit of a kick from the harrisa lime cauliflower but found it to be mostly bland.“

We had the pork chop and 917 burger which were excellent. The Pinot Grigio and old fashioned was 4/5. They have a full bar and made a great whiskey sour with egg white foam. Overall a great experience and great place to bring that special someone who loves cars. You're able to Ventura and observe several Porsche's. I Would definitely come back for lunch!“

“I went to Fishbar for happy hour on a Thursday around 4pm. There was no wait and the hostess accommodated me when I asked for a table further away from the door. Our server Bailey was amazing and friendly! For apps we ordered the happy hour crab queso dip and calamari. The portion for the calamari was a bit small but was to be expected for happy hour. Crab dip didn’t have much crab not sure if that was a happy hour thing as well. Both apps were good though nonetheless. I ordered the Fishbar margarita which was $10 and a bit tart, I ordered the passion fruit margarita next and that was much better. For entrees, it was lobster Thursday so I ordered the whole main lobster special for $45.99 including 2 sides. The lobster was a bit over cooked but good overall. My girlfriend had the shrimp and scallop entree which was also good! Since it was out first time we got a dessert on the house. I will be back again!“

“Being Easter Sunday, we expected it to be a little slower over all, but we just had an amazing breakfast! Sharon was our waitress and she was absolutely spectacular. She provided quick and attentive service we had a bit of trouble deciding what we wanted but Sharon was very helpful giving us various options to allow us to choose exactly what we wanted. I am pregnant so waiting for food sometimes can be a little hard, but the food came out very quick. She got a tad held up at the end but the staff was very observant and stepped in quickly. We had such a wonderful experience overall.“

“Birthday dinner. The staff are wonderful, warm and attentive. Mushroom side, oysters, salmon, and steak were so delicious. There is a children's menu if needed but my 11 year old opted for the adult size portions and cleared his plate. Highly recommend.“

“My husband and I wanted something special for Sunday brunch a week before Mother's Day. So we drove a half an hour to Nick's in Manhattan Beach. I had the crispy chicken sandwich with delicious coleslaw and my husband had the prime rib sandwich. Both very delicious and worth the drive.“

The bacon that came with the American breakfast had good flavor but was overcooked. We also shared a pancake, we did like the pancake but felt it was a little undercooked. The fried chicken was so expertly seasoned and crispy. I got the 3 meat combo, pretty reasonably priced for the amount of meat I got. The sauce is awesome and the meat is juicy and tender. I had to take my nose ring off cause I was so serious about this BBQ. Cornbread is so soft and fluffy and tastes like something your grandma made. “Phenomenal atmosphere, service, and food! We ordered the fresh kusshi oysters and bread rolls to start. my mom and sister had filets, I enjoyed the coffee rub ribeye. I've had a lot of steaks throughout my life, but this was by the far the best out of ANY steakhouse that I have been to. It was my mom and sisters birthday, and they have never been so pleased at a fine dining restaurant. Thank you to everyone for making it such a special dinner for everyone!“

“We were looking for a nice brunch spot, and we came across The Ordinarie. With a 2hr free parking right nearby, we were off to a great start even before arriving at the restaurant. There was no one manning the front, so, we just seated ourselves, and a server approached us soon after. My wife got the Spicy Fried Chicken and Waffles and I indulged on Short Rib Hash. The fried chicken was not so spicy, but it was fried up really well. The crunch from the coating was absolutely crack. And the waffles were made from rye batter that gave it a very unique nutty flavor. The short rib on the hash was melt in your mouth tender and the red wine sauce was deep and flavorful. The crispy onions and fried potatoes paired really nicely with the meat and sauce. Overall, the food was bomb, and I have to give extra points for refilling our drinks without asking. The service was just right; not too much, not too little. All in all, we walked away full and very satisfied. Highly recommended!“

“This place is my jam - good food at a good price. I got the pork belly dosirak (basically a bento box). I love having a lot of different options to try in a meal so I was so happy to see this was an option! The pork belly was cooked to perfection and seasoned very well - I barely had to use the sauce they gave for it on the side. We also got the rice cakes, I definitely recommend those too. What really takes this to a 5 star is the warm friendly service from everyone who works there as well as the nice touches such as free instant coffee if you dine in! I can't wait to return. They also have a punch card reward program so you can claim some free food as a loyal customer.“
