“I have been going to Porto's since the 1980's..the one in Glendale. How elated I was with having them being in Northridge where I live. The food is terrific and the lines go fast due to a tremendous quick system they have. The catering for parties has never let us down and people you have invited that never have experienced Portos are thrilled. The cakes are delicious. What I do miss is not having the individual cake slices for purchase so you can experience the taste. They only have the neapolitan, Parisian, and carrot for slices. I've seen the menu change over time and do miss some of the items.“

“Thanks to Google Maps, I was able to find this very yummy stop. It is in an office building lobby. Secluded corner with restrooms and a courtyard view. I parked in the adjacent parking garage for free. Enter through the lobby doors at the back. The parking lot is for employees. You can't miss you are in the right place, the aromas are amazing! Try the horchatta latte!!😋“

“Just visited this cafe and they were lovely people and the food was amazing with good prices! All the ingredients were fresh and tasty. Had the tuna sandwich on a croissant and probably best tuna I’ve had in a while, minestrone soup was really good, and my bf had a gyros wrap which he loved. Got to sample their new strawberry cold foam while we were waiting as well 🫣 I would make the trip from Nova Scotia again just to go back and visit this shop. We had a delicious bacon, egg, & cheese croissant made to order as well as apple fritters with the right amount of crispness and apples AND a bear claw that ended up being stuffed with cinnamon apples. “Today I got the corn matcha at 75% sweet and the mango sticky rice ube mochi and both were divine, great strong flavor of corn, creamy matcha, ube mochi was soft and not too sticky, mango was very sweet. Service was quick but not the most welcoming, girl at the register seemed like she was ready to leave.

I have been to this location half a dozen times and my only gripe is the weak welcomes and condition of their space. It seems like there is not a lot of attention to detail or care for their space, especially their plants, which makes it feel unclean and careless. There are some plants that are basically just poor little root balls. Top off your plants with soil, give them food and water, wipe down the leaves, chop off what is dead, and give the space life again!“

“I really love SunLife Organics shakes and usually get mine at the Thousand Oaks location, with occasional visits to the Calabasas and Malibu Point Dume locations. My main concern is the customer service, which can be very inconsistent.
Sometimes the experience is great, but other times the service feels so unfriendly that I regret leaving a tip. I’m not sure why the level of customer service varies so much between visits. It would be wonderful if an establishment with a lotus as its symbol could reflect that same beauty and serenity in the attitude of its staff. I like to invest my money where I feel appreciated.“
