“Really good Saltado. Managed by people who know Peruvian cuisine. My son loved his burrito (big enough for 2 meals) and the high protein saltado is really good. Staff really nice. Highly recommended if you are looking for something different and tasty.“

“You can tell the owner puts effort into his food especially with their house-made sauce and fragant steamed rice(yes, some restaurants do not cook good rice consistently). Make sure to ask for the green and yellow sauce(goes well with the steak or chicken)“

“Hands down the best Peruvian food I’ve had so far. The flavors hit different — everything tastes fresh, homemade, and seasoned perfectly. Don’t let the area fool you; it might look a little rough around the edges, but this place is a total hidden gem. Super friendly service, generous portions, and real authentic Peruvian flavor.
Also gotta give a shout-out to Primo Mexican Food right next door — they hold it down too. But when it comes to Peruvian food, Carlita’s is the real deal 🔥“
“Been familiar with Chef Celsie for some time. What is so imperative to highlight is the fact that when you have a true fusionist of tasteful delicacies; then you know you are just about to experience culinary heaven in your mouth. That is Chef Celsie, her deep knowledge of so many different kinds of culinary cultures makes her as force to be reckoned in La La Land. So in other words, you truly are in for a real treat!! #simplydelicious“

“First of all this restaurant deserves its flowers and praises. Their rotisserie chicken is so good and tasty didn’t leave anything behind, I almost ate the bone 🤤 I’ve have Peruvian food all of the world but this right HERE is the best chicken I’ve ever aren’t in the states, it’s seasoned to perfection and it’s crispy not greasy nor oily. It melts in your mouth pretty much“

“I went to Mamitas Experian Peruvian Food on Glendale Blvd and really liked the environment. It’s a cool spot, nice for a date night. There were a couple of people there after work just hanging out, and it has a nice little open area. I noticed they have a beautiful back patio too, but I didn’t get a chance to go back there.
The food was good and flavorful, just a little different from what I’m used to, but in a great way. I ordered the lomo saltado, and I liked that it came in a red sauce – the waiter explained that’s how they prepare it here, and I really enjoyed it. The bread they served was good, and the sauce that came with it was different from what I expected, but I liked it too.
Overall, it was a new experience for me, and I loved it. Great customer service, delicious food, and a nice atmosphere. Definitely recommend stopping by!“

“Rikas Peruvian restaurant is like the 5th or 6th Peruvian restaurant I've been to in LA. It's interesting because it's located in Koreatown. But this little Peruvian restaurant packs a bunch. I enjoyed it a lot. It's like classic Peruvian comfort food. If you guys haven't tried their ceviche mixto, it is a must try. It's probably the best Peruvian ceviche I'd had in LA. Nice fresh raw fish, and the sourness to the juice was just about right. Their chaufa pollo, or chicken fried rice, was also another knockout. It's safe to say that this is the best fried rice I've had outside of any Asian restaurant. Haha. Their lomo saltado was also pretty solid. Great sauce, fries, and steak. In all, I would highly recommend Rikas if you are in town. It is one of the best Peruvian restaurants in the area. You'll feel so great after eating the food here. The chef Jose is also a hospitable man. Look out for him if you come here. I shot a Youtube video of my experience at Rikas, which you can find on my Youtube channel Rockstar Eater.“

“Found this place after an event nearby. Ordered the Ceviche de Pescado - fresh and delicious, plus the portion was huge. A little pricey, but worth it. Also got the fried plátanos - a simple classic done well. Then an inks cola to drink. The server was doing it all herself, so a little slow, but very kind and good service still. Will be back & recommend.“

“This is one of my go-to places for lomo saltado and pollo a la brasa. The portions are big, and the seasoning is just right. The staff is always welcoming, and the place has a cozy, family-owned vibe. Prices are fair for the amount of food you get. Their green sauce is addictive — I ask for extra every time.“

“"Saltado" should be a Food Group. That....... Sauce.......... is what's had me Craving this Peruvian Dish since I tried it, back in 2009, at another restaurant. I recommend Chios' Shrimp and Seafood Saltados to everyone I happen to discuss Latinx Food with. ALWAYS, extra Sauce. I literally haven't tried anything else on the menu, Yet.“

“I’ve been eating at this place before 1987. I used to take my children here for dinner or lunch on Saturdays. My children are grown and are raising their families now. I am in my Senior years now and moved from that area. However, I still go over there to eat on Saturdays every now and then. One thing I can share with you, is the recipe has never changed. 😎😎“

“Chicken is amazing. Fresh peruvian style rotisserie chicken. Their homemade mayo & sauces are creamy. Love their maracuya(passion fruit) juice. Also, their chicha morada is tasty. It can be a little pricey for certain items.
Very small, cozy place. It's hard to sit there during the summer though-it gets really hot. No public bathrooms. However, sometimes their staff is kind enough to let you use their restroom.“

“The food is Peruvian in name only. This restaurant in Lima would fail miserably. The food is bad and does not have any Peruvian flavors, and the portions are absurd. As they say where I'm from, "están jugando a la cocinita." Not worth it.“
