Would highly recommend the scallop/uni course and the skewers! the beef tongue was our favourite.As for the bone marrow, it was a little shallow and the miso overpowered it.Overall, I’d highly recommend n/soto to anyone looking for Japanese food around the area. “Wanted to try something new so we decided to stop by and it exceeded our expectations! We got the Patita, Sisig, garlic rice, and lumpia. The patita was extremely crispy on the outside while the inside was very soft and fell off the bone! The sauce was amazing and the garlic rice went well with the dish! The sisig was soft and flavorful but had a bit more of a soy sauce taste to it which was not something I was used to with regular sisig, but still great ! Lumpia was crispy and loved eating it with the sweet and sour sauce!”

“The influence of Alice Waters and David Tennis is at play in the $45 prix fixe 3-course lunch, simple, elegant and delicious. The rest of the menu, except the desserts and cocktails, looks to be uninterestingly pedestrian. Recently, a salad of thinly shaved manchego, mint, beets and radicchio first course and a perfectly cooked Sea bass, very plump clams, broad beans, and fennel second course in a seafood broth lightly seasoned with dill were superb, as were desserts that our waiter allowed us to substitute for the third course. Highly recommended for lunch.”

“The signature dish is the crab in sauce, which comes in medium and large sizes. medium is two crabs with two bowls of rice, and large is three crabs. Compared with other Korean restaurants, the sauce crab taste is mild, and it will not be salty enough to explode in the middle of the meal and cannot continue to eat. The crab is fresh, not fishy, and the meat is firm, not squishy. The crab meat is also very full, the crab legs are full, there is no empty shell crab. The sea urchin rice is a little smaller but the sea urchin is enough. regular sea urchins are not particularly sweet, but they are fresh and worth the price. The sea urchin Rice bowl combo will be served with steamed eggs, runny eggs and two prawns in sauce. Raw marinated salmon rice is amazing to me. The salmon is marinated just enough to be flavorful, but not overly salty. The portions are generous. You can eat two bites of each piece of salmon.”

“I was offered an all-expenses paid trip to the "Clark Street Diner" (克拉克街餐厅) on Franklin Avenue. During this All-American™ escapade, I was slyly offered a small bag, containing salt-upon-sea, by a dishevelled, camoflauged Hollywoodian native whilst engourging of the delicacies delivered by this All-American™ "Clark Street Diner" (克拉克街餐厅). I indulged in this salt-upon-sea once entering their one (1) lavatory. This legal and easily accessible substance enhanced my dining experience tenfold. It should be offered at the table, and is my only complaint with the experience. I should not rely on local pathfinders to expand my experience.Vegetarian options: No.Kid-friendliness: The kids were very friendly ! They thoroughly enjoyed my salt-upon-sea.”

“This place is interesting. Upon arriving we were told they wouldn’t seat us until our whole party was there which was interesting because there was no wait otherwise (we were missing 1/3 people. I got a cold brew with a little oatmilk and vanilla and it was solid. I ordered the chicken biscuit and had asked if I could add American cheese to it because I saw their other biscuit had it but was told that they couldn’t give me a (1) slice of cheese because it’s reserved for another dish on the menu….. (the other biscuit) so the waiter suggested preserves which I went with and it was most of the flavor for the chicken biscuit. The chicken was nice and crunchy, the biscuit itself was warm and soft but ultimately dry without any sauce. I loved the Filipino inspired dishes on their menu. My wife had the breakfast burrito with longanisa in it and she loved it”

“This is definitely a hidden gem in Beverly Hills!!! It's in a prime location with reasonable prices. Their cocktails are affordable and have lots of flare. I recommend the "Spellbound" if you like bourbon. Their service is swift and friendly. My favorite food items were the spicy tuna crispy rice and the Wagyu Pepperoni Pizza. They also have pretty decent sized portions to share. After shopping on Rodeo Drive, Beverly Bar is a nice place to stop without breaking the bank.”

“Farmhouse kitchen is the best Thai restaurant I’ve ever had. On top of the food being great and delicious, the presentation makes you want to order everything from the menu. Chef Bo was so nice to come out to our table and all I can say is she was a very nice, young & talented person. She even made me a special dessert for my birthday. Thanks Bo❤️ I highly recommend this place if you want an authentic, excellent and delicious food. In addition, the place is so full of life. The decor is amazing! I can’t wait to go back and try some of the fancy drinks and dishes on the menu.”

“This place is very close to achieving what it's setting out to do: provide an elegant vegetarian dining experience. I think that might be hard to pull off in a strip mall however. The food and the art are fantastic but the interior design was poorly executed and comes off looking a little cheap. “This is a 5+++, as you would be hard-pressed to find a more creative, flavorful and truly life-changing pasta meal than at Cento. The Spicy Pomodoro Pasta may be the singularly most delicious pasta dish on earth. The lamb meatballs… to die for. The grilled octopus, OMG. Pasta will never be the same for you. The beet spaghetti? Just ask Luca… it becomes part of you. Highly recommended.”

“It wasn't too localized so I enjoyed it! The naan wasn't that tasty, but the curry and samosas were delicious. The service is just like an American restaurant. They say it's Michelin-starred, but I'm not sure if it's amazing, but I think you can think of it as something you wouldn't mind eating as your last meal in LA. I recommend it if you want to eat delicious curry that is not too localized.”

“Yummy tacos! We had the lomo saltado, carnitas and fish tacos and all were Good! We also had the potato and cheese taquitos and the cara cara Olive oil cake. The Olive oil cake was warm and moist on the inside and was crunchy and crisp on the outside. Went well with the orange sherbet that came with it!”

“It's a tragedy that Manzke is closing at the end of February. A restaurant this good shouldn't have to close. Everything is fantastic. The food is rich in flavor with a cocktail and wine list as close to perfection as possible. I'd encourage anyone who loves fine dining to enjoy Manzke while you can. “Pictured are the Tokyo Rich Tsukemen and the Smoked Dashi Ramen.The Tokyo Rich Tsukemen carried my experience here at Tonchin LA. I came here solely for the noodles made in collaboration with Keizo Shimamoto from Shimamoto Noodle Inc. They are really the star of the bowl. The tonkotsu gyokai broth was alright, but overall, this was one of the better tsukemen you can find in Socal imo.The Smoked Dashi Ramen, on the other hand, was quite weird. It starts off fine but the longer you take to eat it, the fishier the broth will get so get ready to slurp fast ?”

“We had a reservation and were seated immediately upon arrival. The restaurant was crowded but not too noisy, everyone was enjoying themselves. The server was amazing and offered menu suggestions. I forgot the name of our appetizer but it was delicious! I danced at the table the whole meal because I enjoyed every part of it. Definitely lived up to expectations and I'd be back.”

“We have been going to Horses ever since they opened since it’s right in our neighborhood. The most friendly staff with a big shout out to Amanda. The most amazing craft cocktails and absolutely delicious food. I think we’ve almost tried everything on the menu and have not been disappointed once. Can be hard to get a reservation, but we usually get there at 5:15 and are able to sit at the bar with no problem.”

Ordered 4 dishes between 2 of us and must say that our favorite was the goat liver mousse. The crumpets that accompany the mousse were the star!Parking: Parking is along the street around the restaurant. May be difficult to find parking if coming during peak dinner hours. Some streets may be dark so be wary of surroundings.”

“Hidden away in the city of Los Angeles is this amazing bar that serves one of the tastiest omakase. Entering the bar, you see a bar top that seats approx 10-12 people, with a open kitchen vibe. My partner and I had a great time. The Sunday crew was very nice and attentive, engaging with the customers and making things fun! The selection of fish was amazing, definitely a different experience compared to other omakase establishments I've been to.Parking was very easy since they provided easy simple instructions on their website :). Grab a weekend brunch, go for dinner or just for a rooftop bar lounge and and drink. (Unlike some other roof top bars/restaurants in LA, this one has zero attitude - from either the staff and crowd. Just friendly, chill and pleasant. A+”
