“We were headed to our hotel from Venice Beach and craving Italian. Driving past Italy’s Little Kitchen, we decided to take a chance and try it out. When I tell you words can’t describe how delicious their food was. My 5yr old son rarely eats much of his food when dining out, he’s more of a snacked/small meals throughout the day and he ate 3/4 of his pizza. Below is my leftover Chicken Piccata and a sliver of their fresh bread. I didn’t think my food could get any better, but this late night snack was 100% better. The chicken & vegetables marinated in the capers & sauce. If you are in the area, you should definitely stop by. I promise you won’t regret.“

“My wife and I went to the Grove in Los Angeles last night and we had dinner at "Sogno Toscana," an it was outstanding. It was perfect in every way; great food, great drinks, outstanding and friendly staff, beautiful location, etc. I love Italian food but I can't think of one Italian restaurant that I like, until "Sogno Toscano." The food was outstanding, and there was so much more we saw go by that we can't wait to go back and try. And the drinks were outstanding. I love martini's and they served the best martini I've ever had. Giacomo was our server and took great care of us. He's from Italy and "Sogno Toscana" brought him to America when they opened their New York restaurant, and now he's in LA for this new restaurant. Although very busy, the entire staff were very fun to be around, and most of them are Italian which is also great.“

Loved the meatballs, okay pizza (mostly because all LA pizzas taste the same, soggy in the middle, yeasty fluffy crust and whatever else on the middle), but the pasta...it was a little chewy, a little doughy (all in the best way possible), perfectly saucy, spiced to perfection. The Nebbiolo they source washes down splendidly after all the protein/carb intake. Servers are attentive, knowledgeable, non-intrusive but always around and quick.“

Oh my gosh, it was divine! The uni was so fresh and creamy and the pasta itself was cooked just right. Every bite was an explosion of flavor. We also tried the baked lasagna and it was delightful. The layers were perfectly balanced and each bite was full of rich, savory flavors. Let's not forget dessert! We shared a few different things and they were all great. The tiramisu was fluffy and decadent and the chocolate mousse was rich and smooth. Overall, Angelini Osteria is definitely a must-try for Italian food lovers in Los Angeles. “Been here now 4 times and it keeps impressing me. The food quality and flavours are SO good, and the wine choices are great, haven’t gotten a bad one yet. The ambiance is a key element too, making it feels like home/community (the name ‘Companion’ is the right one!) with the LP player, the massive bookshelf, the wooden elements and the tables setup. It’s a favourite for us, where we always bring out friend and family visiting us. Love it’s in our neighbourhood!“

“It was our first time here. Most of the seating is outside, which can be problematic if you get cold easily, but would be wonderful most of the time in great LA weather. The food was good & the service was attentive. We will definitely go back!“
