“Solid spot for Japanese-Korean food in Whittier. The menu is small but focused which I like. We got the Cheese Katsu meal, Omurice, and Egg Sando. The Katsu was cooked well, not too greasy, very flavorful. The Omurice was my fave, fluffy and the sauce was really good. Another highlight was the Yuzu Panna Cotta we got for dessert. It was citrusy, not too sweet, great texture, we really enjoyed it. Their Matcha Yuzu-ade was refreshing as well. Good service and a relaxed atmosphere. We will be coming back to try some things we weren't able to fit in this time around.“

“We love Joy. My family have been regulars for many many years. Food is awesome. Service is great, servers friendly. Only bummer, when we, as a family, went to celebrate my birthday on Saturday, we presented a gift certificate my husband & I were gifted from my Kids. It was issued at the end of 2019, expired at the end of 2020. Because of Covid we did not venture out until late last year. They did not not honor it. A little bit of a disappointment, but not going to keep us from frequenting our fav local sushi restaurant.“

“We LOVED their fried rice it was so good! Solid amount of chicken in it too. We ordered the chicken garlic noodles as well that was also tasty. The woman who took our order was so sweet she brought out all of our items to us very gingerly and also put a nice big bottle of siracha out. We wished we lived closer so we could come more often!“

“Had some Sunday lunch at this branch. To My surprise, the servings are so generous that it can serve for 2. The yellow curry taste so good and the pad thai is the best recommendation for me. Go and try them out. This is one of the best thai restaurants you can go to. I guess this branch is more cozy than cerritos. And mind you the service is excellent too. Kudos to Gwyn.“

“Great fast eatery, you can watch fresh noodles made through the large kitchen windows.
Big bowl of noodles will satisfy any hungry soul.
The order comes very fast even on a busy day.

“It’s been a while since I last had Mongolian BBQ, probably mostly inside malls. This was a new one for me being in a plaza outside of a mall. This restaurant was set up like a Chipotle style where you choose the ingredients for your meal instead of picking it out with tongs on your own. The food was good and there was some sauce provided that made it even better.“

“The place was very empty when I got there, therefore we were able to be seated quickly. The food was fresh and it was tasty. I was worried and checked the ratings online to make sure it was legit. lol.

The bad part is that there isn’t enough workers so it’s hard to get their attention when they’re cooking.

The people and the boss here is friendly.Find a good spot for my whole family because the noodle here is my children’s favorite. Recommend beef soup noodle and the tomato egg noodle for the kids. “Absolutely delicious! I decided to try this place today and I'm immediately reviewing to get people to support this local gem. I had the tofu vegetable combo plate and it was tasty as hell. The tofu was soft, the veggies had the perfect bite, and the brown sauce was well seasoned. The entire dish was warm and light enough that I almost cleaned my plate despite it being so satisfying. I'm happy I was able to bring some home for later and will be going back regularly now!“

“I am from out of town i am here visiting my sister in the hospital. I was looking for a good teryaki plate for my wife and I. I read reviews and I decided to try hi bbq. The customer service was great,the price was good and the food was excellent. The ginger dressing was tangy and really good for the salad. The chicken and steak was flavorful and the macaroni salad was really good. Until my sister comes home this will be the place we will go to. If you are looking for really good food at a good price I highly recommend hi bbq. Also the staff was really nice and the place is very comfortable.“

“I’ve come here many times—it’s one of my favorite restaurants. The beef noodle soup is my go-to, but honestly, it’s hard to pick a favorite because everything is delicious.

Highly recommend the dumplings—they’re handmade, and you can even buy them frozen at a great price. The server reminds me of my aunties, and the food tastes like grandma made it. It’s like a cozy Sunday at mom’s, and she just brought out the menudo.

I also love that the music stays true to the culture. They play Mandarin songs, not some watered-down English playlist. It makes the whole experience feel authentic—like I’ve been invited into someone’s home. I’m always happy here. 🥰“

Pho Golden Noodle and Grill offers a good authentic Vietnamese cuisine. They’re located in a Haven City plaza. Their menu highlights the rich, aromatic broths and perfectly cooked noodles that define authentic pho. I had a Charbroiled chicken vermicelli x hot tea. I liked the freshness and flavor of their food. Similarly, their hot tea was a perfect match.

Service is spot on. Staff are cordial and professional. Prices are competitive and affordable. Atmosphere is relaxing with spacious dining tables and seats. Overall, it’s a nice spot to eat good.“

“I love coming to T-Kebob! However, the last time I came here I noticed their prices have jumped and they no longer serve their lamb and beef skewers in orders of 10. This is my favorite spot for skewers though and their corn cheese is perfect! They've also switched brands for their Taiwanese sausage and it doesn't taste as good.“

“My wife really enjoyed the curry chicken plate and the sides that came with it. She had the mild curry and said it was one of the better ones she's had in quite a while.
I had the pork katsu sandwich and it was a mess! Needed a ton of napkins. It was a little tough and had too much of a kick for me. The waffle fries were okay, for me, not as good as Chick-fil-A.
Service was just okay. They have a self-serve kiosk for ordering. Works okay but I prefer the option of using a cashier.
Self-serve fountain drinks are a specialty brand, not Coke or Pepsi.
Parking lot is very busy. But we found a spot fairly quickly and not to far from the restaurant.
Worth a try for the curry chicken katsu but I'd avoid the sandwich.

“Located inside Sheraton hotel next to the bar area. We tried seafood tasting menu. Food was good but nothing to rave about. Most of the dishes used crab meat for the main or for garnishment: It was overdone. Service was good, nice ambiance although lights were turned off in some part of the restaurant.“

“This is a newly opened restaurant, so the environment inside the store is very clean and the furniture looks new. There are not too many choices on the menu. The Hainanese Chicken Rice is very tasty, but the chicken is slightly less umami. The Bamboo Shoots and Chicken Soup Noodles have a sweet soup base, which is worth a try.“

She was happy to explain and walk me through what they serve and offer with a positive attitude. She even explained the points system as I was paying. “Wow one of the strongest standing Hong Kong western restaurants in SGV! I have been to this restaurant a few times as a child and it's still going despite Great Recession and COVID pandemic! “Great bakery tucked away in a small trip mall on Las Tunas and Mission. Although small, the baked goods are so good here. They are also very creative with their pastries. This is the only shop I can find gigantic pineapple buns. One of the bun here equals to probable 4 to 5 regular buns that you would typically find at dim sum. They can also custom made cakes from 6 inch to whatever sizes you want with various different flavors and designs. We just ordered a 6 in chestnut cake with rose flower decoration for my mom's birthday. Order was done efficiently and timely. We ordered the cake one day before and was able to pick it up by next morning. I also like their Chinese pastries. One of my favorites is their Portuguese egg tart or Pastéis de Nata as they called the Custer in Portugal. The skin is so crispy and the egg tart filling tasted so good. I just can't stop eating them. Probably I have to run a couple of miles the next day to burn off the calories. There are so many great pastries here. I just have to come back to try them all. The owner is so friendly and she is always very helpful to introduce us to new products.“
