“Had a great first experience dining at Lucky Pig. Food was amazing! We tried a variety of dishes from Hire Katsu, Ball Katsu, Omurice, and Katsu Sando. All items were outstanding! Service was great, and the restaurant was clean and well kept. We will be back! Highly recommend giving them a try!“

“This is a really nice cafe in Downey. They have free wifi, many snacks and nice boba. The boba menu is great. The smoothie and fruit tea are nice too. I think the standard menu is a bit too sweet for me. The snacks are like frozen snacks and took out to fry. Staff was very nice. Clean restroom. Great vibes for working or chatting.“

“We love Joy. My family have been regulars for many many years. Food is awesome. Service is great, servers friendly. Only bummer, when we, as a family, went to celebrate my birthday on Saturday, we presented a gift certificate my husband & I were gifted from my Kids. It was issued at the end of 2019, expired at the end of 2020. Because of Covid we did not venture out until late last year. They did not not honor it. “So glad we randomly found this place when searching for lunch in Buena Park area. We got their Spicy Chicken Garlic Noodles & Kimchi Fried Rice. Both were delicious! Kimchi Rice wasn’t spicy, had a nice zest and was a good portion size. However, be careful if you’re a vegetarian! It came with some meat(spam and pork). Garlic noodles weren’t overpowering and cooked to perfection!“

“The spicy beef noodle is highly recommended and it did not disappoint! The meat is really tender and juicy, the noodles are chewy, and the broth is fantastic! It’s also a big serving, so you must come with an empty stomach and a big appetite!

You can see the chef preparing the noodles and they are made fresh!

I also like the lamb skewers. The meat is tender and packed with flavor!

The staff are really friendly and accommodating as well. They’re very attentive and check on people if they need anything.“

“I’ve come here many times—it’s one of my favorite restaurants. The beef noodle soup is my go-to, but honestly, it’s hard to pick a favorite because everything is delicious.

Highly recommend the dumplings—they’re handmade, and you can even buy them frozen at a great price. The server reminds me of my aunties, and the food tastes like grandma made it. It’s like a cozy Sunday at mom’s, and she just brought out the menudo.

I also love that the music stays true to the culture. They play Mandarin songs, not some watered-down English playlist. It makes the whole experience feel authentic—like I’ve been invited into someone’s home. I’m always happy here. 🥰“

“Liangpi LA is the most delicious. As a Xi'an native, I have eaten all over Xi'an restaurants in Los Angeles. This is the first time I have tasted something so delicious. In other restaurants, they are either not vinegary enough or the dishes are messy.

“This is a newly opened restaurant, so the environment inside the store is very clean and the furniture looks new. There are not too many choices on the menu. The Hainanese Chicken Rice is very tasty, but the chicken is slightly less umami. The Bamboo Shoots and Chicken Soup Noodles have a sweet soup base, which is worth a try.“

Most of the dishes used crab meat for the main or for garnishment: It was overdone. Service was good, nice ambiance although lights were turned off in some part of the restaurant.“

“This place is an amazing dining experience. A great alternative to Korean bbq or hot pot, you order different skewers and let them cook in front of you, then enjoy. All the different meats and vegetables were delicious and offered lots of variety so there is something for everyone.
