The 3 day brined smoked fried chicken-different taste, with soy and Chiles, a must!!!The Peruvian pork belly with sweet potato , Criolla and crispy quinoa , love it! And the Grilled NY steak with green garlic chimichurri, chorizo aioli and pommes pont neuf, thick cut fries…my son prefers over the fried chicken.“

“The BlackYardhouse in Long Beach is a great choice for happy hour food and beer. We enjoyed the poke nachos (excellent), the Brussels sprouts (also delicious) and a variety of beers. Katie was our server and made our meal even better with her positive and helpful suggestions. This Yard House has the benefit of a great location on the marina, and offers stellar food and beer at terrific happy hour prices. Look no further.“

“Dined here this evening. We enjoyed some Cocktails to start then ordered Beef Tartare, Shrimp with Veg and Roasted Carrots. Entrees varied from Pasta to Ribeye steak and Burger. All delicious. The Carbonara needed more bacon but that was the only issue. Desserts were great. The Espresso wasn’t hot enough for my guest but overall we enjoyed the evening celebrating a birthday. Will recommend to my friends for sure. Would recommend a reservation as it was very busy by the time we left at 6.30 pm“

“Great crispy Brussels sprouts, slightly sweet with bacon, and I loved the bleu cheese on it so much!they must have been out of wine/ champagne glasses for my drink. It was happy hour during the week, not very busy. I’m an out of towner but would probably go again next time and try their sandwiches“

Starting with the welcoming staff at the entrance. John, your hospitality is the beginning of the joyful experience. The restaurant is so elegant. We enjoyed the vaulted ceilings with wood beams. We enjoyed the large window at the kitchen area so you can see the Chefs at work. We got to sit next to the impressive wine rack display. The restaurant’s ambiance wouldn’t be complete without the soft background music. Our waiter, Issac, was a delight. He provided us with his expertise in choosing our wines, appetizers, entrees, and desserts. It was a pleasure to meet to give special thanks to the Chef, Danny Le and Su Chef, Donald. Their expertise is why we had an amazing and delicious dinner.“

“Great place on the corner at Ocean Redondo Beach. It was a lovely sunny day; valet parking just a few steps away. Service - great -server was quite patient as the lunch was a business meeting. We ended up having the same special of the day - chicken wrap - tasty!!“

“This is a very inviting space. A couple that owns It are right on site. My wife and I both enjoyed our dishes. I was from out of town, but I got the impression they have a lot of regulars that almost become like family. I saw a lot of hugging while I was there. Very quiet. No real signage on the street. Just a picture of a fox on a door. You can also enter through a brewery it is connected to by a stairway in the back of the brewery. Highly recommended.“

“I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting the food to be this exceptional. And that is because sometimes chain establishments are not great. However, Camille suggested a couple of dishes for us and they did not disappoint and in fact I would’ve licked the plates if it was publicly appropriate. “We had halibut & chips which is our favorite dish here and it was delicious! We especially love the coleslaw that they serve with it. The fish tasted fresh and had a light batter so it wasn't so heavy and the fries were freshly made and delicious. Our server gave excellent service, was personable and remembered what we drank and ordered the last time we came. I wish I had made a note of her name. We usually come here weekly for lunch or an early dinner. 🥰👍🏼❤️“

“So far I have tried the spicy Korean fried chicken bowl, pork belly bowl and japchae, all of delicious. Always fresh. My toddler only likes japchae from an AYCE kbbq in Garden Grove, but she has approved of yours. 10/10 every time. I am always greeted with a smile. I will keep coming back.“

“What a find at Slay! We started with bacon wrapped scallops that were cooked perfect and had a delicious honey sauce. For dinner we had the bone in pork chop that was a 10/10 in every way. I enjoyed the orecchiette shrimp pasta that was layered in flavors and delicious shrimp. 10/10 for atmosphere, food, and service. Hilario was absolutely fantastic in taking care of us. This will be a new regular spot for me as the entire menu is a beautiful mix of dishes that allows you to mix it up.“

“It was such a lovely venture out for my Mom’s birthday, on Friday. Alex and Dominique (management) are quite lovely, and helped make our dining experience all the more, a joy! Love the new additions to the menu, particularly the Mini Steak French Dips. The Chicken Parmesan was excellent with the twist of those ‘pepper-like sweet’ tomatoes. If there is ever something you want to bring back to the menu I would highly suggest the sliders, they were missed for sure lol! Looking forward to dining again here, soon. Cheers! ✨💖🥂“

“Yummy 😋 first time ever, in the heart of 2nd Street and I can't believe I've never been here. I havent eaten beef in a decade, unsure but had a taste for it today. 🤩 We shared all the goodness, short rib pizzzzzzza, BBQ scrumptious and so juicy burger, along with the poke tostada, which was piled high with aoli and fresh tartar.

The staff sets this place apart, all are welcoming, inviting and make you feel like your neighbors, including recommendations that melt in your mouth. Had to get a piece of swag memorabilia ie; truckers hat.....so much gratitude. They always say it's not just the food, yet who was a part of the taste test that matters.......highly recommended, scrumptious and delicious 😋“
