“As a nursing home resident, if I want decent food, I have to have food delivered. My experience with Panda Express has always been positive. My order was prepared and delivered promptly. Very happy with both food and delivery. Will definitely order again.“

“We stumbled in here for dinner after being nearby in Davis to take care of some business. Looked on Yelp and this restaurant had good ratings, so we decided to give it a try. Didn't disappoint as both the food and service were great. Luckily, we went early, so there was no wait. We started off with the Wonton in Chili Oil. These were really good - similar to a dish we get in Roseville at Uncle Dumpling. For dinner, we had the Cashew Chicken, Duck Fried Rice, and Beef Chow Fun. All very good. Our two servers were very friendly and food came out quickly. Definitely would eat here again when in Davis.“

“They’re so quick and the food is excellent. Any time friends or family come into town we try to bring them here for an excellent experience. Order the eggplant and green beans and the pork and cabbage dishes. Everything else is great too.“

“Nice hidden cafe serving good food. Braised pork belly bowl and popcorn chicken were great. The bowl portion was big and the meat and bok choy was soft and sweet. Popcorn chicken spice was nice and meat was juicy. I only got the 25% sweetness black tea and that was a nice pairing with the food.“

“Noodle House, as my family and I lovingly call it, is an icon in Davis. It's a little hole in the wall behind Sophia's Thai Bar that was referred to my husband and I 15 years ago. We walked in and almost left because it's small... and old... and a little sketchy? But we decided to give it a try anyway.
We have been coming regularly since then, and our family has grown, and grown up begging to go there for special occasions like getting good grades, etc. There is nothing we have had that isn't delicious.
I highly recommend the won ton noodle soup, pork chop noodle soup, szechuan eggplant with noodles, the potato curry with noodles, the 5 spice beef noodle soup, and the chow mein.
The noodles are homemade. The broths and sauces are unique, delicious, and literally award winning.
The service is fine. It's the same lady for the past several years. She's quick and efficient. Before that, I think it was her mom or aunt.
You won't regret trying it out - and if you do, you'll be back.“

“love the beef chow fun, but it does sometimes taste too salty or too plain, they’re not consistent with it. had the tomato and eggs noodle soup once- it was just so watery and also flavorless. so don’t order that.
but the ma la stuff (the spicy numbing dishes) are pretty solid“

“What a wonderful business run by the absolute kindest people. I’ve lived in Davis for almost a decade now, and am so incredibly glad Dumpling House continues to persist and give back to the community. Their dumplings are absolutely incredible (kimchi pork is my absolute favorite), and they take ebt for frozen items at the farmers market. They also offer vegetarian options, and I have a friend with dietary restrictions who used to visit a lot when they were in town, they said the place is incredibly accommodating and will work with you to get you something you can eat. Dumpling House is the kind of small business that keeps the world going and supports their community, and I’m gonna miss them when I have to leave Davis too. I thank them all for their incredible, affordable food, and wish them many long years of success. Absolutely give this place a try when you’re here, it’s a Davis must.“

“Wow, a nice canto/HK style restaurant in Davis! They moved to this new location (previously village bakery) and I got to try it this week.
Surprisingly delicious! I went to Tim's before they moved a few years ago and I didn't like it. But I feel like they are way better now. The steak and rice was super flavorful, and the price is quite good <$15. They also have a lot of to-go orders and they had a good number of people in during lunch.
A personal favorite is the bittermelon and beef. It was perfectly well done, and that's not an easy dish to perfect!
The interior is large and spacious and has nice decor. It's quiet and has nice modern feel to it. Parking can be a bit of a pain, but overall not too bad.
Can't wait to try their other dishes- but the steak (with black sauce) and rice is a must try, and also try the bittermelon beef! Enjoy!!“

“Great food, great prices. I got the brisket fried rice yesterday June 15th (it was a daily special) and it was the bees knees. Only $7.65 after tax. I've been here over 10 times in the past year or so and it always slaps. Usually busy at 7 or 8pm so be ready for like a 30 minute wait on the food. Its also a little loud when the dine in seats are mostly full. This place has the aura points and people know it. Suffering from success.“

“I have been going here since a kid and my parents went here as a kid as well. The food has consistently been amazing. I always get the walnut shrimp and when it’s cold the wonton soup. I am hoping this restaurant can still stay open because it’s truely a part of Davis and the best Chinese food in Davis“

“I forgot to pick up the order yesterday, but the manager in this restaurant did a replacement meal for me and let me take away. I was surprised for this and thought that I might be told that no order would taken away this time since I was late.“
