“She is wonderful to work with. I have used her twice now. Once for a Mickey Mouse Twoodles cake and just recently for a baby shower. We got lemon for the cake and snickerdoodle for the cupcakes and when I tell you everyone loved them both. Her cakes are delicious and she does and amazing job with decorating them you send her a picture of what you want and she will not disappoint.“

“Mmmmmm soft fluffly cheesecake. If you want more egg heavy cheesecake, Uncle Tetsu might not be a good option for you. The ube cheesecake is always tasty, but I was not a fan of the Oreo cheesecake. The Oreo cheesecake was just the classic with bits and pieces of Oreo, doesn't taste at all like Oreos unfortunately. Recommend the classic, ube, and pandan coconut flavors!“

“Best Panaderia in the area. Bread is made fresh [I think] daily.
This place is small, like a maze, but has so much packed in it. They have coffee, chocolate (drink), bionicos, desserts, sandwiches and other quick foods.
It’s a nice corner store with the basics. Generally busy, especially in the morning and after office hours. Don't expect white glove service, but they will help if you ask.“

“Happy to have found this lovely bakery in San Mateo downtown. We love their sourdough breads, sweet and savory pastries. They have long lines on the weekends so prepare to wait at-least 10-15 minutes if you are getting coffee with your pastry.

Some of my favorites are “tomato girl”, “Kouign-amann” and “everything croissant bagel”. Their chocolate sourdough and olive sourdough bread are also very unique and tasty.

They also have a cute patio on the back where you can sit, relax and enjoy the food.“

It was just the way the groom and bride requested it! BethAnn was easy to work with and accommodated their schedule for the tasting as they lived out of the state. We would recommend Studio Cake for your wedding!“

I also tried the rose, raspberry, and pistachio cake which was light, refreshing, and delicious (and gluten-free), but with a different texture than the chocolate cake. Also, thank you to the delightful Police Officer Gentleman who stopped and took the time to speak with us for about 10 minutes while we were sitting outside of Posh Bagels in the patio set while the officer chased a naughty boy on an electric motorbike (wearing a helmet), which is not allowed there to be operated on the streets. He said there were about 5 police cars chasing this young man as he evaded them throughout downtown :/

Plus, we saw him give a fee tix to a navy blue Tesla, he said it's for parking backwards into the space when it's only forward parking in all of downtown. The sheepish Tesla driver guy came 15 minutes later in a hurry and drove away with the tix still on his windshield, lol. So park the RIGHT way in, head first.

The police officer said mom looked exactly like the lady who tended to the flowers outside of Hiroshi restaurant 2 stores away so now we're curious to see the flower lady for Hiroshi restaurant!“
