“Stopped by Little Late Bird on a weekday at 11am. It's a comfortable cafe serving Korean staples. The Ube Latte was like tropical Hawaii in a cup with coconut hints. The vegetable Japchae had perfectly chewy noodles and just enough sauce and veggies. The Bulgogi sandwich was amazing: toasted roll, perfectly cooked beef, lettuce, tomato, and spicy pickled jalapeños for contrast. Everything was filling but not heavy. They're also open on weekends 9am-4pm, so it's officially entering our brunch rotation!“

Portions are just right, and you can tell the ingredients are fresh. They also serve omelets, which make a nice lighter option if you’re not in the mood for pasta. “To be honest this place can be the best place for me in Palo Alto! As a person who was born and raised in Izmir, Turkey this place is a gem for me. I love the variety of the food, their espresso tastes awesome (better than some other chain stores) and stuff is always so lovely and caring. Their breakfast is the closest breakfast to real Turkish cuisine. They even brought İzmir boyoz before! The store can be small but very bright and airy. Highly recommended!!!“

“Some places never really leave you. This café is one of those places for me.
I have many warm memories connected with this café. We used to live nearby, and when my kids were little I would often walk here with a stroller, sit down with a cup of coffee, relax, and have a small bite.
I also came here many times with a friend and our kids. Later we often stopped by with my husband while our children were attending their sports classes nearby.
What makes this place special is that they roast coffee right inside the café. There is a large roasting machine, and you can smell the fresh coffee as soon as you walk in.
The café also has shelves with books that you can read while sitting with your coffee. The walls are decorated with paintings and interesting details that make the place feel warm and cozy.“

The iced latte was delicious and well balanced - actually tasted like coffee and not just milk! - and the avocado toast was fresh and generous with the toppings on delicious bread. The best part was how friendly and welcoming both employees were. Will certainly be returning to try some baked goods - they all looked delicious!“

“She is wonderful to work with. I have used her twice now. Once for a Mickey Mouse Twoodles cake and just recently for a baby shower. We got lemon for the cake and snickerdoodle for the cupcakes and when I tell you everyone loved them both. Her cakes are delicious and she does and amazing job with decorating them you send her a picture of what you want and she will not disappoint.“

“I went into Steve’s Cafe & Catering alone and honestly wasn’t even sure what to order at first. The staff immediately made the experience comfortable by asking thoughtful questions about what I liked and helping guide me toward the Parmesan chicken sandwich — which ended up being incredible.

It was fresh, flavorful, and so good that my girlfriend even ate vegetables she normally doesn’t enjoy. Beyond the food, the atmosphere felt welcoming and supportive, especially as a new customer. You can tell they genuinely care about helping people have a good experience, not just making a sale. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

By the way, the brownies made my girlfriends eyes roll hehehe, I highly recommend Steve's Cafe & Catering“

“The Absolute Best Coffee in the Bay Area!My husband and I are total coffee seekers whenever we travel, and finding Kaizen & Coffee was the absolute highlight of our trip to San Mateo! It might be the smallest coffee shop we’ve ever visited, but it packs a massive punch. The modern black-and-white interior is incredibly clean and inviting, and the baristas are wonderfully friendly and helpful.We stayed for a week and literally came back 5 times—that’s how good it is! We tried three of their signatures: the Black Sesame Latte, Ube Latte, and Miso Caramel Latte. The Black Sesame was our absolute favorite, closely followed by the Miso Caramel. If you love perfectly balanced drinks, trust me: these are exceptionally delicious, never overly sweet, beautifully creamy, and topped with the thickest, perfect foam.The biggest selling point for us? Absolutely zero chemical syrups. They make all of their bases and syrups in-house, which is exactly what we look for in high-quality specialty coffee. “New “more than a coffeehouse” in Mountain View with a Venezuelan touch. Good ambiance and the menu offers an extensive list of items to please every taste. I got the “empanaditas” which are fried. Comes with cheese filling and ground beef. The red sauce was super hot. Caught me by surprise and I coughed and got teary eyes. It needs a warning! Coffee was great and look at that perfect heart work! Just beautiful. Parking during a Saturday can be challenging but a 2 block walk is a solution. Try it!“

This cafeteria is part of the Stanford Graduate School of Business and is apparently where all of the b-school eager beavers refuel on sustenance. ? “Cute cafe on Stanford’s campus. I loved the ample outdoor seating options! I got a burger which came with chips. It was good, but the burger patty could have used a little more seasoning in my opinion. The burger was also a bit pricey for the portion size you are getting, but that’s Stanford generally, so do not hold them against it. Staff is very kind & accommodating.“

“Guys, pleeeeease🙏 consider buying different decaf beans! Those you have now are really bad. Burnt and tastes like coal even in latte with lots of whole milk, there is no way to mask it, we tried 🤣.
We usually come for decaf or half-caf cortado/cappuccino and pastries in the afternoon.
There are a lot of great tasting options for decaf nowadays.

“This feedback for the cafe at Seton Hospital. Unfortunately, I've been visiting hospice care for the past 4 weeks. I bought coffee and an occasional brownie from the cafe a few times. I have to say, no matter how busy it is, each person behind the counter has had the biggest smile and the utmost courtesy to each person in line, including myself. They probably don't realize that their smiles and positive attitude really help. Please let them know they're appreciated....and give them a huge bonus 😉“

“Super cute little cafe! Has nice jazz music playing along with friendly staff! I had the half & half combo with the turkey Italiano sandwich & the broccoli cheddar soup & a bottle of water which came out to 16.55 total..Both very good and would reccomend! Has indoor and outdoor seating.“
