“I enjoyed the chicken chow mein, delicious bbq ribs, rice ok, soup egg drop ok, vegetable egg roll wish I can have with pork or chicken, fried noodles delicious. I plan to go back again. The fried shrimp I couldn't eat, didn't look like shrimp, a pounded flat breaded version, the pork sweet and soùr were dry, very crunchy and over cooked. I didn't eat it either. I'd give Tans a 7/10. “The food was very tasty. Both the ube coffee was the standout for me. The fusion concept in the food was a nice touch. A Peruvian lomo but you can tell the flavor has Asian influence. You are able to substitute out the rice for garlic noodles which was a good call! The service was also outstanding. One of the items was made incorrectly and they did everything in their power to fix it swiftly. I really appreciated it and would make sure to come back nonetheless.“

“Pho here is great with good beef selection. Little more pricy vit you'll get good cut of beef. Specially rare. Only down side is when order to g, they are skimpy on the meet side even though I ordered size large . And it did comes with any dip sauce.“

“Went on a Monday afternoon. Plenty of parking and plenty seating. I ordered the beef with green onion and shrimp chow mein. Both dishes came out piping hot and fresh! The shrimp in the chow mein was perfectly cooked and did not have a fishy taste to it. The beef in the beef with green onion was seasoned well. Well done. I will definitely be going again!“

“The food is amazing, portions are large, and prices are very fair. The $16.95 short rib pho comes with two huge short rib bones and unlimited noodles! Such a good deal. My favorite was honestly the lomo saltado, the fries were so crisp and the filet was so tender with a delicious, smoky wok fire flavor. The spring crunch slaw is a steal at $6.95, it’s a ton of slaw for such a cheap price and the peanut butter/chili oil dressing is bomb. It was pretty busy when I went, but they brought out the food amazingly fast for how big of a group was seated ahead of me. Definitely recommend this spot.“

Cashier super friendly. I was in between spicy and sweet chicken or regular chicken bowl. I ended up getting regular chicken bowl. Upon getting my order the nice Asian young man asked me if I wanted to try and sweet and chilli sauce they used for the chicken I was debating on. I said ofc! “Great spot for pho and noodles. The portions are generous, prices are fair, and everything tastes fresh. The broth is rich and flavorful you can tell it’s been cooking for hours.

The staff is friendly and attentive, which makes the experience even better. Definitely recommend trying the garlic noodles and the spring rolls they’re a perfect combo.

“Absolutely obsessed with this restaurant! It’s my go-to whenever I’m in the Walnut area and need a guaranteed delicious meal. Let’s talk about the Hainanese chicken - it’s a revelation. The texture is unbelievably tender and smooth, not a bit rubbery. You can tell it’s made with care. The chicken skin has a lovely, subtle gelatinous quality, and when you pair it with the fragrant rice and the incredible house-made chili and ginger scallion sauces… it’s just perfection. Don’t sleep on their other dishes, either. The potato noodles come in a massive, steaming clay pot with a soup base that’s both spicy and deeply flavorful. The fried buns are golden, crispy little clouds of goodness. The atmosphere is super casual and welcoming, and the staff are always friendly. Honestly, for the quality and portion size, the price is a steal. This is a true neighborhood treasure, and I can’t recommend it highly enough!“

“Was brought here on recommendation. I had no idea what to expect was honestly wasn’t sure about it.

Once we ordered and the food came out I was pretty delighted to see everything on the plate. Ate it down real fast. Flavors worked well together and the texture of the ramen was soft yet held together and it was an amalgamation of greatness. I poured the vinegar on it and am usually not a fan of vinegar in general, decided to do it anyway and was really happy on how much it transformed the ramen without being overwhelming. Lastly, a cup of rice was dumped into the remainder I cleaned it up.

“I started going to this Waba Grill pretty recently when passing through the area, and I gotta say, it's my favorite one to go to! By far the cleanest one, my food is served quickly with the correct portions, and all in all I could tell people work efficiently around here. If you’re looking for an authentic Japanese dining experience in Chino Hills, Kiku Sushi is it. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance transports you — the traditional banners, warm lighting, and J-pop playing in the background set the perfect mood.
The service was wonderful. Our waiters were so sweet and attentive, always checking in without being overbearing. You can tell the staff genuinely cares about the experience.
Now the food — where do I even start? Everything was absolutely incredible. The fish on the nigiri was unbelievably fresh, like caught-that-morning fresh. You could taste the quality in every single piece. The Cucumber Fantasy roll was hands-down my favorite — light, refreshing, and perfectly put together. We also had the garlic edamame, a rainbow roll, and some beautiful sashimi-topped rolls, and there wasn’t a single miss on the table. We also paired everything with a Sapporo and a Terra beer, which hit perfectly with the meal.
We left absolutely stuffed and completely satisfied. Kiku Sushi is now a go-to spot for us. “Went there for breakfast on Saturday early (8:30) to beat the rush. Only waited 20 minutes. Had belly to belly, creme brulee french toast. avocado toast, and two orders of the berry cloud pancakes. For drinks we had classic coffee, Pandan latte, Spanish latte, and Cookie? latte. Both drinks and food were great. Only complaint is that we order the 2nd pancake a few minutes late and it didn't arrive till most of us were finished. Be warned .. get your orders in for the cloud pancakes early. It will take 20-30 minutes to arrive.“
