“Evan's is hands down one of the best BBQ joints around. Every visit has been spot-on — not a single miss! The brisket is absolutely killer, and that summer salad hits the spot (gotta balance out the meat and healthy items...right?).

For my birthday, my wife catered from Evan's, and they nailed it. One of the standout items was the smoked chicken, and let me tell you — the tray of chicken thighs they delivered looked like something straight out of a championship turn-in box.

Each thigh had a beautifully rendered, bite-through skin — a true pitmaster's touch — and the meat was perfectly juicy, coming clean off the bone without falling apart. Flavor? On point. Smoke? Clean and balanced. It was BBQ chicken perfection.

I would add a picture but that tray of chicken got hit like a trash can at midnight by a family of raccoons!“

“Brandon was our server and he was so nice, so funny, and explained everything to us loved it!! The wall decor is awesome, they even had robots serving your side dishes! The Diamond Tier was awesome with grade A5 the dry aged wagyu was melt in your mouth good! Just as good as what we had in Japan. Brandon cooked them up for us and we enjoyed talking with him. Celebrating my husband's birthday they sing and have some ice creamsicles ube or honeydew flavors. They do have drink stations, some extra food stations, a dessert station all of which you can walk around to grab yourself. The Otoro thick cut and black pepper beef cubes were our other favorites. Can't wait to go back!“

“Pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. Friendly staff, quick to go service, and delicious food! The spare ribs were my favorite with the meat falling easily off the bone. In my opinion, 1/2 rack is enough for 3 people. I didn't realize this and ordered 1.5 racks 😅 I loved the onion rings. However, not sure I'd pay $10 for them. If you love ribs, I definitely recommend this place!😋“

“Was hungry so went here for a quick bite. The line was ok waited about 5 minutes before I got seated. My server Joe helped me in recommending what was good to pick from the skewer bar. The beef quality was really good and the appetizers were nice too.“

“Located in an industrial park. with tight angle parking in a single row. Small-ish restaurant, with indoor dining space plus a covered outdoor space extending off the front toward E. Miraloma Ave. Young lady at the order counter greeted us immediately & was very friendly. Interior spaces looked clean & tables were kept attended as the busy Saturday crowd turned over. My wife & I decided to share a Sandwich Sampler as our first visit meal. I'd read good reviews about their brisket, but I found it to be of average quality & maybe overcooked. The sausage was slightly better in flavor & juiciness, and the turkey was very good. Overall a satisfying meal experience, and I'd recommend Blake's Place if you were craving BBQ.“

This restaurant was set up like a Chipotle style where you choose the ingredients for your meal instead of picking it out with tongs on your own. The food was good and there was some sauce provided that made it even better.“

“What a hidden gem! Tony’s Barbecue in Anaheim is a small Filipino restaurant serving up big, authentic flavors. We tried the grilled chicken and pork skewers, pork belly, and grilled seabass—all perfectly cooked and packed with flavor, served with rice on the side.

To top it off, we ended the meal with their Halo Halo and fresh-from-the-oven soft bibingkinitan—such a perfect finish. Service was fast and friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. I’ll definitely be coming back for another delicious, authentic Filipino meal!“

“Saw an ad for Joey's in a travel magazine, and decided to try them. Ordered bbq beef ribs and chicken with sides on line. Got there at the pickup time and had to wait, as they were really busy. “We were recently passing through Pasadena and boy, did Yelp come through for us when picking a place to eat! Craft by Smoke & Fire in Old Town Pasadena ended up being the perfect choice. It was a beautiful evening and we opted to sit outside. We were lucky enough to have Stephanie as our server…and also lucky to be there during happy hour – you gotta love a 2 for 1 drink special! It was hard to choose between all the craft cocktails, but we ended up ordering Lulu Lemons which were excellent! I play mixologist when entertaining at home, and when I expressed interest in recreating this drink for our friends, Stephanie was kind enough to share the recipe! The menu is full of yummy Texas-style BBQ options made from locally sourced meat, and it was hard to choose. We landed on brisket grilled cheese with a side of mac & cheese (can you have too much cheese?!) and a harvest brisket salad. Both were so delicious. The outside table area was pretty full and although she was covering a lot of tables, Stephanie was knowledgeable when guiding us through the menu, super attentive and personable to boot! We look forward to returning…and to checking out their Anaheim location as well!“

“On our way from LAX to Palm Springs after 10:00 pm we were looking for a quick bite to eat. Drove by this restaurant and figured we would try it.The experience was one we will absolutely recommend, regarding both food and true Chinese culture. No where near what I was expecting.We had the lamb and also beef skewers and fried rice. An appetizer was brought out that we did not order, as it was included, which was right away different and tasted unlike any other soybean and peanut I’ve experienced. It was delicious!The lamb and beef was cooked to exact request and was also delicious!While we have dined at many Chinese restaurants throughout the United States, as we travel extensively and dine out regularly this surf past any, and all other restaurants, we’ve dined in for this type of food. Here’s the difference this was not Chinese food that has been Americanized in most Chinese restaurants. This was true Chinese prepared food.I truly believe you would have to travel to China to get this quality of food and culture.I will also say that we spent 3/4 of our time speaking to Cindy, whose father owns the restaurant which caters to home cooked events at homes, so this is not their primary source of how they deliver the product to the public. The hour and 15 minutes we spent there was made so much more enjoyable as Cindy walked us through the culture the food and Wyatt tasted different because it was truly cooked to Chinese standard. So I have to say, was it the food that was the greatest experience, or Cindy‘s presence and her willingness to have an open conversation about why they do it the way they do, and enlightened us about the culture of the food,I strongly recommend anyone that wants to find out what real Chinese cuisine is and how it is cooked and prepared in China. You realize very quick that this is not your drive-through, Chinese pick up takeout, that we are accustomed to here in the United States. “I just bought some roast pork and roasted duck at this Hao Vi place yesterday 2/24/2024. Their food were very good as they advertised. The service was very nice and pleasant. Severs and cashier are very friendly and courteous. Definitely I will come back anytime when I am going to O.C.“

“Happened to be in the area. Stopped by , a little difficult to spot if you do not the place. Small parking lot on one side and a couple of handicap spots on the opposite side of building. With a ramp access to the entrance. They offer seating at the bar. Booth seating along with tables & chairs. The ribs were tasty with a good bite. Pulled pork was tender & juicy. The brisket was over cooked, little dry and to firm. Mac & cheese was hot , cheesy and lite. Mashed potatoes a little to salty. Tri tip was not available that day. Salad with chopped up cherry tomatoes. Baked beans had some personal spices added to get past the canned variety taste. They offer a big screen TV in the bar area. Public restrooms are available. The hours have changed to 4-10pm only. Lunch is no longer available with the buffet selection they previously offered. Just walk in and seat yourself. This would be more like a neighborhood spot. They are on the pricey side. Portion sizes are adequate.“

“Delicious! We stopped in with a group of 7 on our way to the Great Wolf Lodge for dinner.

It was easy to order. Your biggest decision is one plate or all you can eat. The one plate is very generous so you've really got to be hungry to make all you can eat it pay out. There are a bunch of rules if you decide to do all you can eat posted on the wall.

Once you pay, you get a bowl to fill with the meats & veggies. If you have kids, you might encourage them to fill their bowls. You can either eat their leftovers or take them home with you.

The meats include meatballs, beef, pork & chicken. Too many vegetables to choose from. Three types of noodles. Vermicelli, egg & something else I can't remember. Two of us went egg and while the nameless noodles were good (the other 5 people got them) I think the egg is superior.

You pick some sauces and the chefs cook up your meal.

Hot & fresh!

There's a restroom and a fountain soda machine. You can also just get water.

“We went because we saw they had Loco Moco (my absolutely, without question, most loved Hawaiian dish). Once you walk in, you know this is going to be good. We both got the Loco Moco bowl and it was perfect for us but we may try the Loco Moco plate when it's the house special on Friday. I asked another couple about their Chicken Katzu and they said it was great. The wonderful young lady that took our order was very helpful and cheery (harder to find in any food establishment now a days) We got our Hawaiian Shaved Ice to go. Mmm! Glad we found them. “Definitely get the bengal plate, if you’re in between skewers get the plate where you can get both. I LOVE the bengal beef skewer and asparagus with bacon skewer. Husband got the vegetable skewers for his plate. Worth the money. The hummus trio plate was good too.“

“I've tried Hainan chicken all my life, and this one is special. Portions are very generous. The chicken is very tender and cooked to perfection. The rice is incredible even it's just rice. But they Cook the rice in a way that's not very greasy like other places. Kind of dry and tasty.
We also tried the potato noodles since it's highly rated with other reviews. We ended up taking to go since it was just too much food for 2 is us.
Be careful online shows Xin Wang restaurant but the actual sign in front says Ana Wang Hainan Chicken. But it is the same. Don't know why.
Not too many pictures here to take since they're all over online already. Anyhow, great food, simple dining experience. Nothing fancy. You definitely should give it a try.“

“My service organization regularly came to Silver Spoons' predecessor, so when we found out that Silver Spoons was open, we made the restaurant our next meeting location so we can try it out!

I usually order my go-to to test out a Thai restaurant, so I ordered the pork pad see ew ($14.95) and mild golden curry with chicken ($14.95). I would've ordered a fried rice, but the mild papaya salad ($13.95) caught my attention instead. Note that the dishes come with your choice of chicken, pork, or tofu included in the price, but if you want beef, it'll be an extra dollar, and for shrimp, an extra $2. What was surprising was that the curry doesn't come with white rice. You'd have to fork out an extra $2.50 for that. I thought everything tasted great, though both the papaya salad and pad see ew was a little heavy on the sauce.

My friend ordered mango sticky rice ($12.99) for dessert and I was surprised and happy they had that available (I went to another Thai restaurant during Christmas time and while they had the mango sticky rice on the menu, they said it was not in season so they weren't selling any). I took a few bites of it and enjoyed it -- not too sweet and not too heavy! Don't forget to check-in on Yelp for a free Thai tea.
