The fried shrimp I couldn't eat, didn't look like shrimp, a pounded flat breaded version, the pork sweet and soùr were dry, very crunchy and over cooked. I didn't eat it either. I'd give Tans a 7/10. “I've tried Hainan chicken all my life, and this one is special. Portions are very generous. The chicken is very tender and cooked to perfection. The rice is incredible even it's just rice. But they Cook the rice in a way that's not very greasy like other places. Kind of dry and tasty.
We also tried the potato noodles since it's highly rated with other reviews. We ended up taking to go since it was just too much food for 2 is us.
Be careful online shows Xin Wang restaurant but the actual sign in front says Ana Wang Hainan Chicken. But it is the same. Don't know why.

I also appreciate the variety of Chinese food available here, its not just orange chicken, but they have shrimp, pork, and fish dishes. Even the boba is really good and nice and chewy. We’ve been coming to this place since it opened 15-20 years ago and I’ve always ordered the same two-item combo: jalapeño beef and mushroom chicken (dark meat ony) because they are excellent for non-authentic Chinese food. As noted by others, this place stands apart from other Chinese American food places because they cook everything to order. So every meal here is fresh and hot. Highly recommended.
