“Didn't have to wait for a table on a Friday night for a party of two. I think if you're a larger party, you may have to wait. Got cha gio, pho tai chin, and a cafe sua da. The cha gio and cafe sua da was nothing special. Not the best I've had, but not bad at all. The star of the show was the broth of the pho. It was very tasty, with no overpowering notes from a singular spice. All the ingredients from the beef in the pho tai, to the vegetables served with the cha gio were very fresh.“

“Check In: Make sure you check in on Yelp for 1 free Herbal Iced Tea!Parking: Parking can be a bit difficult on the weekends. I visited on a Sunday and was not able to find any parking near the restaurant. But I was able to find a spot near the Old Spaghetti Factory. There’s a lot of restricted time zones, specific parking, and metered parking.Environment/Ambiance: It was very nostalgic for me when I walked in because the ambiance gave off Vietnamese vibes. The marble tables, wooden chairs, vases, utensils, and plates were imported from Vietnam. I recognized the vases bc my grandma had the same ones lol! They also have an open kitchen concept. I love their modern take on traditional Vietnamese dishes.Service: Everyone was amazing. Shout out to our server Ben! Constantly checked up on us and ensured we were enjoying our dinner. They even have robot service! The robot only brought us the sides that came with the pho we ordered.Food & drinks:1) Pho Tai Filet Mignon, carpaccio-style - This was my first time trying pho carpaccio-styled, and it was sooo delicious! Such a great concept. For those who don’t know what carpaccio style is - it is thinly sliced rare beef, drizzled with oil and lemon or lime. I was advised to squeeze the lime first and spray some 40° nuoc mam for extra flavor. Then take some meat and dip it into the pho broth. The meat wasn’t too chewy! I’m used to eating cooked meat with pho, but I absolutely looove this style better! 10/102) Pho Xe Lua - I was told this was one of their most popular pho bowls. They were very generous with the meats. I didn’t even need to add any sauces to the broth bc it tasted amazing the way it was. I could definitely tell their broth was brewed for at least 48 hours; it very smooth and no MSG. My favorite part was the short rib! It easily came off the bone and full of flavor. They offer unlimited noodles, so of course I took advantage! 10/103) Fish Sauce Fries - I started off with the Fish Sauce Fries as appetizers. It came with a “female” and “male” 40° nuoc mam perfume bottle. Such a fun idea! The fries were already tossed in fish sauce, but if you want more flavor, a couple spritz of the “perfume” will do. They also gave a generous amount of fries for an appetizer. 10/104) Herbal Iced Tea - So refreshing! After eating two steaming bowls of pho and nuoc mam fries, this drink really helped refresh everything. It came in a cute cup, topped with floral. 9/105) Vietnamese Coffee - I’m a crackhead for caffeine, so of course I had to try their Vietnamese coffee. This is the definition of Vietnamese coffee: extra ice, thick, concentrated, and not overwhelmingly sweet. It also came in a unique cup. 10/10Pricing: Prices are $$$. Not as surprised since prices have gone up literally everywhere. I’d say it’s worth it because they are very generous with their portions.Parking: Parking: Parking can be a bit difficult on the weekends. I visited on a Sunday and was not able to find any parking near the restaurant. But I was able to find a spot near the Old Spaghetti Factory. There’s a lot of restricted time zones, specific parking, and metered parking.“

“Efficient service. The food was exceptional! I'm a fan of their garlic butter with peppercorn razor clams. Their flavors are outstanding! However, the lack of taste after consuming peppercorn for razor clam's garlic butter is noticeable. Recommend the peppercorn flavor if you appreciate spice and robust flavors. Pineapple fried rice paired well with seafood inside.Udon with shaken beef is another great option. For beverages, we opted for the kumquat with coconut, which is refreshing. The prices are moderate but medium in size.“

“Came for lunch on a weekday. Few people and light hearted atmosphere when we got there. Boss greeted us warmly and gave us recommendations. We got the numbers 12 and 15. The highlight here is the tender, delicious, fresh-tasting meats used. The portion is big and the staff provided quick service. I would highly recommend to anybody looking for quality meat and broth in their pho noodle soup.“

“I so love and appreciate Dan for all the care, heart and soul they put into creating this nurturing restaurant, and adding such goodness to the world.I’ve been coming here for years. Each time I’m greeted with the most sincere smiles and warmth. The food is fresh, delicious and oh so satisfying. One time years ago I got food poisoning. I can’t remember how it came to be that Dan and Si, his brother, learned of this, but they literally made me food to eat for each stage of my healing. Broth, a mash, and other foods, all made to nurture me back to health.I’ll never forget this kindness or the example of his commitment to always providing excellent service and the most wonderful food.I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and wish for it to have great success and longevity!“

“This place is always crowded!! Came here recently Sunday afternoon, right when the bar opened at 4pm so we got a table in the bar area to eat/drink and watch the football games. There’s always a wait for a table at the restaurant, so plan accordingly, especially if you go for dinner. They have the big beer towers if your group wants to share. Full bar with lots of alcohol/cocktail options. Great food dishes were: Ốc Hến Bánh Đa (baby clams and escargot with rice crackers), Ốc Len Xào Dừa (coconut escargot), Ốc Saté Bơ (saté garlic butter escargot) and Cơm Chiên Crawfish X.O. (crawfish fried rice)—all delicious and well flavored!! And at the end, they give each person a small complimentary bowl of Chè Bắp (Vietnamese sweet corn dessert) which is good!“

“I can’t believe this! Asia Foodie is just sooooo good! You definitely must try their Garlic Butter Chicken Noodle. The Pho is so flavorful and the starters like the Fried Calamari are wonderful to. There wasn’t anything I didn’t like, including the friendly staff, great location, minutes away from Disneyland and affordable prices too!“

“Not sure what Mr.BuffettSoCal was talking about. seems like he just likes to write creatively. I did not experience any of whatever amusement park he was talking about. I came here yesterday and bought the 12 piece tray. I selected a variety of cakes and a couple jellos. i must say all of it is so so tasty. the store inside is small and humble, family owned. Appeared clean and service was so kind and helpful. she showed me the different sizes and little cakes i could order. all of which was packed nicely. steamed cakes came with coconut sauce and sesame seeds. I will definitely be back here to this little gem.“

“Got their vermicelli noodle, and it tasted good. Lots of grilled pork came with it. Their fried chicken was crispy. I went on a weekday night and the restaurant was pretty busy, and it took >30 minutes before the food came out. Price of the food is very reasonable.“

“This is my go to spot for pho just smelling the aromatic broth when they bring your food awakens the senses ( yeah I just wrote that) but really I've gone to probably 9 other places on bolsa in Westminster also 4 other pho restaurants in surrounding cities nothing compares. They have a couple other menu items but the Pho is why you come here, I like to take my son here they're open late until 1:30 a.m., It's always clean and the staff are nice. My personal recommendation is the Pho combination with no meat ball or tripe substitute extra tendons and add a beef rib or the ox tail pho.Lastly, Price is about $20 with a can of coke“

“Came here on a whim on Saturday night, so glad it was not crowded and we were seated immediately. They have pictures of plates they serve on tv screens so it's very nice to see what you may be ordering. We ordered egg, filet mignon and meatball on a sizzling plate with baguette and a bo luc lac with garlic noodle and it was delicious! Very affordable prices. Fresh made and not too sweet drinks too, I recommend the penny worth and mung bean drink! Nice Vietnamese traditional restaurant vibes.“

“We were out late and needed a quick dinner. Decided to come for Pho at 10pm and we were not disappointed. The food arrived quickly, portion was good and it was delicious! Really hit the spot. The meat in the pho was tender and wished there was more of it. Service was efficient and warm. Will return if in the area.“

“The food is pretty good, not the best pho though. Love that they have a Mongolian BBQ here. The service is good. The prices were ok. Maybe the portion of pho was a bit small although I haven't had pho in about a year so maybe it's changed everywhere.“

“We have ordered take out once and have eaten here once. I really enjoyed the oxtail pho. There was plenty of meat and the broth was really tasty. My spouse really enjoyed the pork chop special. The garlic noodles were good but the chicken on it was kinda dry and tasteless, despite having a nice color. Overall, we really liked Mama Hong's and look forward to returning.“

“There will be a line if you come during peak hours. I went in at 9:30 PM. There was a short line as well. I recommend to call ahead of time and ask if they have availabilities or how long the wait would be.They’ll seat you! Ordered and the food came out within 10 minutes. A basil plant will also be put into your table. You can adopt the plant. Which means you can take home the basil + the bottle.Food presentation was cool. I love the bowls. They have hoisin and sriracha already in one of the “bowl”. They have northern and southern style. Look at the menu for details.I made my own bowl with southern style + tripe, brisket, filet mignon. The soup was a little salty but it was still good. There were lots of meats in the bowl. The soup was hot so be careful. I love hot soup so it worked out for me!Vietnamese coffee- it’s pretty good but I’ve had stronger ones. Still enjoyed it!Parking: I parked far. If you come during busy hours, it’s very hard to find parking. So beware if you’re on a lunch break.“

“Parking can be difficult as this place os located within a small strip.First time trying Goat pho which was really good as I was a bit skeptic at first.Broth is very clear and light which was perfectly balanced with just enough flavor. They do bring out extra additive I.e. srracha, hoisin, and fish sauce from the refrigerator.Meats were filled with an over abundance as the bowl is offered in one medium sized bowl.Meat ball - airy meatball with a slight bounce to the chew.Texture of the meat wasn't too chewy nor gamy at all.The overall experience is very pleasant, however you may feel hungry soon as usually pho doesn't curb an appetite for long. Not a big fan of curry so I wouldn't be able to give an honest review on their best seller.“

“This place is fire. Luckily scored a table because I went early enough but there is a wait during the busy times. A lot of people were ordering to go as well. The portions are huge so you can honestly split them if you’re not too hungry. I finished it just fine though since I was pretty hungry. A whole container of fish sauce is at every table so you can add as much or as little as you want. Definitely authentic and they sell other things as well. Highly recommend!“

“I've been on a personal mission to find great tasting vegetarian and vegan/plant-based Vietnamese food and I'm super glad I found Thien Dang. I've only ever ordered from them on Grubhub but it's never been disappointing. My husband and I have tried quite a few of their banh mis, and I think their beef is my favorite one! I haven't had real beef in about 4 years now and theirs satisfied my craving - love the lemongrass on it. I also recently got their version of a combination broken rice and I liked it, but didn't love it. The shredded pork had a good texture and taste and so did the spare rib, but the bean curd pie left something to be desired. Also, the daikon and carrots weren't actually pickled which is weird since it's supposed to be Đồ chua. I let them sit in the fish sauce for a while and then added it to my rice and it was alright then. Their bun Bo hue (not pictured) was okay, it wasn't the best but it did the trick. The broth was very oily though and I wish it had more veggies or things in it and a stronger lemongrass flavor. I also wish they had given me extra saté like I requested because that would've definitely helped.“
“New favorite spot for bun rieu. The portion is generous with lots of topping. Love their crab/shrimp balls it's flavorful. The aroma of the broth will certify it authentic. Bought frozen fish paste to fry for bánh mì too and the family approved.“

“The pho is about as good as you can get, it was the best pho I’ve had in a while. The Passion Fruit drink is refreshing and appears to be handcrafted, with the pulpy seeds and all, and was perfectly sweet even without an add-on. As a drink, it reminds me of 7Leaves’ sunset passion or peach teas, which also have a sweet, fresh fruit taste. The food has been consistently good, though prices are on the higher side but unfortunately are actually the going rate in 2024. Fast service“

“I have been to many Bun Bo Hue restaurants in OC and I must say Hue Kitchen stands out on top for me. For those who look for a bowl of bun bo that resembles home cook then this place is worth a try. The bun bo here is not oily, the meats are flavorful, and the noodles have the perfect softness & bounce to them. I like that the broth isn't spicy and customers can adjust the spiciness on their own through the sate sauce on the table. It's no wonder I see so many families bring their small kids here to eat. Another thing I really like is they cut up the pork hock in slices which makes it so much easier to eat! I know it's traditional to have the pork hock in a big chunk but to me it's a hassle to eat. The service here is always nice. I've never had any problems with the staff.“

“This place was good! I ordered the Shrimp & Pok Wonton with Egg Noodles Soup and it was good I just wished the mushrooms were cooked more. And less veggies and more noodles because there was not enough noodles in the bowl. My dad got the Shaken Beef with rice and the Beef was Filet Mignon I tried my dad's and the sauce was so good. So overall both of the food items we ordered were good. The only complaint I have was the restrooms they were very dirty and unpleasant to walk in especially with the horrible odor. So hopefully they can clean the bathrooms more often and use an air freshener. Anyway I would come back because the food was good and there are other things on the menu I would like to try other time“

“Today I called in a lunch order for me and my boss who is a little special and like all the available meat options in his fried rice. I headed over to pick up the food which was ready in a timely fashion and went back work. As we were eating the food in walks a worker from the restaurant because they forgot to put shrimp in his rice. The dedication to service required to drive over to us to drop it off without us calling really shows the care they provide to their customers. We will definitely be back!“

“One does not simply order Pho from any regular reataurant. During the chill of the winter months, one's pho must not only be hot enough to warm ones stomach, but the flavor must be equally satiating. Ladies and gentlemen, if you have been tired of subpar pho with equally poor service, I am glad to announce yo you all that your search for the best pho you've ever had is over. Not only is the broth steamy hot, but the specific flavoring this family restaurant utilizes is spectacular. You can tell that it is freshly made and that much effort has been expended to curate the best flavored broth I've EVER HAD. As a pho enjoyer, I can't believe I've never been here before. And if that is not enough, the lovely hostess/waitress, who is also part of the family that owns this business is the kindest and warmest soul I've ever had tend me at a Pho restaurant. The service is prompt, warm, and delivered with care. She's also very humorous and will engage with you in a little small talk!God bless this place. Do yourself a favor and warm yourself up with the most spectacular pho you've ever had.“

“When I came to Thien An Bo 7 Mon, I wasn't sure what to expect. This was my first time coming to a Vietnamese restaurant. I came in pretty blindly but I was pleasantly surprised.Upon entering, I was seated very quickly and able to get served just as quickly. The rest of my party was also seated very quickly as well. The servers are all very nice and understanding. Once I made known of a food allergy, they were very accommodating. I had a feeling I was in very good hands. The ambience of the restaurant was very welcoming and spacious. I really appreciate restaurants that are spacious because I need elbow-room so I can thoroughly grub on my food Lol. They also have a large screen that displayed aquatic life the night that I went which created a very nice vibe. Now, finally the FOOD! The food was SOOOO good! Everything was seasoned very well and the veggies were all fresh! They even offer a vegan egg roll for those who do not eat meat, which was also very delicious. The experience was very hands-on which I really enjoyed. I customized my spring rolls to my liking as well as the sauce! They offer plenty of food options so it makes customizing not only delicious but fun to experiment with different flavors. The highlight was definitely the catfish! I'm not a big fan of catfish usually but this catfish was absolutely delicious and changed my mind completely! This is a restaurant where you can take your friends, family, coworkers, etc. just to have a good time and eat good food! I will definitely return!“

“Really delicious with unbeatable prices. It's definitely a hole in the wall so don't expect the restaurant to be super clean. I came here on a week night and it was pretty crowded. I ordered the Bun Cha Gio - yum! The egg rolls came out hot and crispy. Giving it 4 stars because they seem to charge for every little thing including a glass of tap water. I heard great things about their Banh Xeo, so I'll come back here for that.“
“Small, hole-in-the-wall place.Service is pretty fast considering there's only a couple people serving. This place's charbroiled meats are so good! Their vermicelli bowls and rice plates always hit the spot and the sides of egg and pork loaf and shrimp paste wrapped in tofu are tasty as well. You do not need the sweet fish sauce because everything is so flavorful by itself, but it's definitely a nice addition! However, I don't necessarily care for the soups here. Their pho broth is a little bland and imitation crab meat in the seafood soup someone in my party ordered was still cold in the middle.“

“The place is a little but can fit in large party of 25 or 30. The food were all good accept a few like fried tofu ( too salty) and Bánh xèo, there were 2 little shrimps :( for a plate that cost as much as that should be more, don't you all think so?But any way, the rest of the food like pho and beef nói soup were so good thought the price were like 20 bucks each. “Upon walking in, you'll most likely get a whiff of the hot butter from the sizzling plates from diners. If they have their doors open, it's most likely due to the dining room being smokey from the plates. They offer a variety of meal options but I think they're mostly known for their sizzling plates and beef dishes. Our group had the com bo luc lac (shaken beef with rice), com suon cuu nuong sot bo toi (lamb chops with garlic butter sauce and rice), and com ribeye sot bo toi (ribeye with garlic butter sauce and rice). Even though we ordered all dishes with the red rice, there were other options to choose such as white rice, fries or bread. I'm not exactly sure what's in the red rice to even describe it. I wasn't a big fan of the red rice but to all their own.The lamb chops and ribeye were presented on a sizzling plate with a side salad with vinegarette dressing. Lamb chops were tender and ribeye lacked flavor. The star of the meal was the bo luc lac. It was also tender, shaken with plenty of sauce, and had chunks of garlic. It was absolutely delicious! The plate also had a side of watercress and onions that complimented the dish well. It was so good, our table had to order another. Portion-wise, I'd say it's a single serving. You may not want to share it with how delicious it is.Service was great, too. Now, I saw another reviewer mention this, so I will too. Just FYI, their drinks are served in small styrofoam cups. They do charge $0.50 for water. It's not a deal breaker but I guess some people may not like it. I'm assuming it's the charge for the cup itself.“
