“I've been looking for a place that really serves true Texas barbecue. This is the place! I had the smoked turkey, brisket, and texas sausage with potato sald and barbecue beans on the side. First thing I did was try each item by itself and without any sauces. The meats were tender and smoked just right! The beans were smoked and filled with sausage and brisket. It could've been a meal on its own. The potato salad was made from scratch with the skin still on the taters and it wasn't too mayonnaisey or mustardy. I chose the sweet and smokey sauce to start dipping some meats into and it was an awesome addition, not to overpowering. They gave a small container of a cheesy sauce to go with the turkey that gave it an added zing. I really liked it.
The atmosphere was a family reunion style with multiple types of seating. It wasn't as flashy as some places, almost poor boy like, but it felt homey to me.
The guys running this place were true Texas friendly, but not bothersome at all.
They have all kinds of drinks but I chose to wash back my food with good Ole fashioned sweet tea. Drank straight from a mason jar, it just added to the ambiance of the establishment.
This is the place to eat of you're from Texas like me and wanna feel a bit at home. Thanks Riot BBQ. Y'all did a great job!“

Lots of colors on the buildings help make the space more inviting. Many of the buildings have super high ceilings with very pretty wood trusses; cool architectural feature.There's a parking lot that runs down the middle, in between the rows of businesses, and another lot on the south side.“

“For foodies looking for Chinese BBQ in South Denver, New Canton BBQ right by the Aurora HMart is the place to go. Very authentic and quite a lot of selections. The portion is large and good value for the price. Besides BBQ and braised dish with rice, they also have congee, wonton and noodles. Here is their triple roast meat rice. They now are close on Wednesdays (used to be Mondays).“

She is immensely personable, with extensive knowledge of your menu and guided us as to what to select based on our feedback as to what we were looking for in BBQ. We enjoyed the food and service so much that we went back a couple nights later and it was just as delicious as it was the first night. Luckily for us, Emily was there again to make a suggestion to me since the Beef Ribs were not on the menu that night. She guided me toward the brisket and it did not disappoint. You have a GIFT with Emily as an employee. I have hired enough people in my 30 year career to know a special find and that is exactly what you have in Emily. Thank you! “The broths at this place are so good! I had the tom yum broth and was blown away by how delicious it was. My friends got the vegetable, seafood, pho, and the house broths and they too all loved their broths. The meats were delicious and fresh. There was a good amount of hotpot selection. The only downside to this place is the lack of staff. There were only 2 servers and 1 busser. They were slammed as it was Friday night but did their best to get you what you need. I recommend ordering your refill all at once instead of asking for 1-2 item at a time. We did big initial order and a 2nd round of refill and that was enough for the night. We all enjoyed our night so much! We left the staff a butterfly 🦋 gift.“

“I popped in yesterday, and they had a band playing some really cool country/rock tunes. The lady behind the bar was very friendly and you can tell she loves her job. Felt welcome and almost felt like I'd known her and the manager for years! Not the case but you catch my drift. The whole atmosphere was comfortable. “Visited Mr. Kim Korean BBQ on a Saturday evening. When we arrived, the dining room had a few tables occupied, but by the time we left, the place was completely full—which says a lot about its popularity.

Service was fast, attentive, and friendly. The staff consistently checked on the grill and replaced the metal plate whenever it started to burn, which kept the cooking experience smooth and enjoyable. Food variety was solid for an all-you-can-eat menu, with plenty of meats and appetizers to choose from.

The highlights for me were the LA galbi, butter shrimp, and calamari—all flavorful and cooked perfectly on the grill. Overall, everything we tried was delicious, and the price was very reasonable for an AYCE Korean BBQ.

A nice finishing touch: after we paid, they brought out a cup of iced sweet tea. It was refreshing and helped cleanse the palate after all the grilled meats.

“My experience was overall good. Good service, good food. The Karaoke was fine. It is expensive. So be prepared for that. I would rate five stars however when I decided on the Spicy Pork Kidney (I’m an adventurous eater) I was met with “I don’t think you will like it”. Fair enough to throw caution to the wind, but rather than telling me I won’t like something, if you are concerned, let’s have an open dialogue about previous offal and organ meats I have enjoyed in the past. We ended up getting there, but it definitely started off heavily judgmental and wild assumptions that I would not enjoy the meal I ordered.
