“This place honestly shocked me and beat every expectation I had about HK food in Denver. This pretty much was a 10/10 chinese food and cantonese dim sum in Denver and a solid 8/10 even compared to LA cantonese food. I was so shook by the bakery items and the dryness and flavor of the fried rice.

When walking in to the restaurant I am always greeted by the friendliest staff that have the kindest smiles. They remembered my husband and I as returning customers after only a couple visits and now treat us like regulars by giving us the best customer service I have ever received. They remember our orders and always give us free samples to try new things and have new experiences. They are extremely fast and considerate about the time limit, always making sure we have meat and anything else at any time- truly the best staff I’ve seen!

After falling in love with hot pot and trying multiple locations around Denver, I can confidently say this is the best experience you will find and I hold every hot pot to the standards set by this establishment. My husband and I have our weekly date night here every week and drive 40 minutes just to go to this location.

This hot pot is similar to others in that it has a 1.5 hour time limit and costs $30 per adult, not including tax and tip, which is the same price I see at other restaurants. All of the vegetables, noodles, and fish are served buffet style in a very large refrigerator that you can self-serve at any time, which is a huge preference for me! They have a huge selection of sauces and toppings that rival every other hot pot I have visited. They also have a selection of cold appetizers with the sauce station. You will never leave hungry with all the options they provide and you will never be sitting around waiting for more food.

I highly recommend the delicious cucumber salad to start while you wait for your broth to boil and the light fried buns or ice cream to finish! The spicy broth is my favorite because it has tons of flavor but isn’t too spicy. To make it spicier, my husband will add more chili oil from the sauce counter. The meats are by far my favorite part of the experience! Everything from the vegetables, noodles, and meats are always fresh and tastes incredible.

This restaurant quickly became my favorite weekly activity. It’s a unique dining experience that allows you to have fun and try endless unique combinations. The staff always make us feel so cared for that we look forward to seeing them every week. Zero complaints!”

“Our small group came for happy hour at 4pm. The cocktails and appetizers listed on the HH menu were limited but delicious. Place was mostly empty, so you can have conversations with minimum noise. Service was good as well.
I hope they do well and keep the place open.”

Server said they didn't have enough help to fix it. When the sushi came we did not have any sauce. We asked one of the helpers who was walking by and she told us we would have to ask our server. We literally had to get up and go ask someone. Ridiculous for the amount of money we paid.”

“Had another great meal at Buenos. We have lived in Broomfield for over 30 years and this is a staple in our restaurant collection! The owner works non stop in this restaurant. We have never in 30 plus years had a bad meal here. I've read some of the bad reviews and honestly I can't believe what some people will complain about. The world would be a better place if we were all kind. The owner has put her life into this restaurant. Its clean, cozy, always fresh food and frankly it just feels like home. COVID really turned restaurants up side down and only the strong survived. We are grateful that this family owned business made it thru the toughest of times.”

“Sooooooooo happy to have this place near my place that serves delicious banh mi thit. Coming from Houston where Vietnamese restaurants are everywhere, I yearn for authentic & delicious banh mi sandwiches. Their banh mi is so good- the baguette they use is so perfect (not hard & crisp is just right), their mayo is creamy, grilled pork perfectly flavored. 🙂

I haven't had too much of their bakery items except for the lemon cheesecake; and it was also delicious. I think it's all baked in house? That's what they advertise anyway.

I took 4 stars for service only because the few times I've come in I feel they could be a bit more friendlier. The girl at the counter can also be more knowledgeable about their menu. I asked her if their cheesecakes were all made in house and she had no clue. I feel that would be an important key selling point to know.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. The kids loved the egg drop soup. The whole family enjoy the sushi rolls, and the tofu lo mein perfectly completed our meal.

Vegetarian options: Great entree options with tofu and many vegetarian sushi roll options. We loved the sweet potato tempura sushi roll and shiitake sushi roll. The tofu lo mein had a generous amount of tofu in it.

Kid-friendliness: Peaceful eating environment and staff was friendly to our kids. They had great kid cups with lids and nice straws too.”

“I decided to get a reuben. It was a difficult decision because they an extensive menu with all my favorites. It was a great reuben, maybe the best i've had and there have been a lot. The staff was polite, friendly, and patient with me. The sandwich came out quick and the pickle for dessert was great. I can't wait to return to get a different sandwich, but I might just end up getting another reuben.”

When they see us coming they know that my husband always has an Americano coffee and they are right on it. They just reopened 7 days a week now and we are so thrilled. Of all the Le Peeps in town they rank number one in my books. Please go there and you will see that they have good food and are all so nice. Just like family!”
