“Gladys has a special place in my heart. My fiancé and I have been coming to this spot before it became a sit-down restaurant, and we are so happy that it is continuing to grow. The food is amazing. The root vegetable ruben is a consistent menu item, and I think everything else changes. Last time I was here I got the tofu polenta (amazing), and my dad (whom is not vegan) purchased the root vegetable reuben - which he loved and proceeded to praise for the rest of his visit to Denver. I believe Gladys is a must visit restaurant for any traveler and local. There is level of care that goes into this food that cannot be found in many restaurants. If you take the time to visit this spot, you will not regret it!”

“Jamie - it’s clear that everyone appreciates her, customers and coworkers alike. She’s friendly, even-keeled, and at ease, even in a rush. She’s wonderful and attentive. A clear multitasker, serving and behind the bar. I’d come back just for her level of service but the food is not to be ignored either. Definitely became one of my favorite brunch spots in the area, easily. Food came out fast, hot, and delicious. I sat in a seat for way too long and wasn’t bothered or pushed out. “My daughter Steph and her then-boyfriend took me here on a recent trip to Denver. Let me explain; their pizza is so delicious, my mouth is watering 1700 miles away! Perfect amount of tomato sauce. Comfortable, casual place to watch the game, grab a slice. On my most recent trip, my daughter and her boyfriend got engaged! Everyone at “Howdy Paisano’s” (as we call them), was so sweet to sign a congrats card with a special pizza upon their return! (They’re regulars!) Anyway, great food, great people, chill atmosphere.”

While the cocktails do what is so rare in Denver and give you taste, strength, and aesthetics that exceed the value of their price point, it's the staff that really elevate this place to top tier. They treat everyone with respect, whether they are there for the first time or are regulars. There is kindness, patience, and pagaentry in every interaction. Do yourself a favor and come spend an afternoon or evening here. And don't skip a glizzy if the machine is rolling!”

“Went with a large group (19) and did mostly family style dining. The food was excellent and generous and the service was on point. Because of the party size, gratuity was included and was very reasonable. I had a fabulous Thai tea cocktail with coconut rum and my brother had Prosecco (his favorite). I rarely finish cocktails but this one was just well prepared and delicious and right sized that I did. Yay me! Yay, Lamai Thai Kitchen. Four thumbs from the Kraus family!”

“If you’re looking for an amazing pre- or post-workout treat — or just something delicious to satisfy your sweet tooth without feeling guilty — this place is it. The service is always wonderful, and the Cowabunga Smoothie is one of my personal favorites. Everything they serve is made with natural, organic ingredients, so you don’t have to worry about a bunch of ultra-processed stuff going into your body. It’s refreshing to find a spot that focuses on quality while still making drinks that taste this good. It’s always a great choice when you need a quick energy boost to keep your day going. Highly recommended.”

“Truly the best sushi in Denver and one of my most favorite restaurants ever! I absolutely love the heaven Roll and the Taki black pepper tuna rolls! I have gone to many coastal restaurants that serve sushi and none of them compare to Shiso sushi bar! They also have some nice non-fish items such as the teriyaki chicken bowl, my friend had ordered that before and it was really good! They truly are one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. They take extra precaution for cleanliness, customer service and quality of their food and I appreciate that so much! I often times will order their food to go as well and it always is a hit! Their dining service is nice as well and there is quite a bit of parking which is always a convenient addition to any restaurant. The owner Ken is a great guy and always remembers us and truly appreciates his customer base. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and like I said it’s one of my favorites! It’s also very close to Sloans Lake which is the perfect activity to do before dining in, check them out!”

“I’ve never actually gotten pho from here, go figure. Their Chinese food is too good to try anything else. It’s probably the best I've had in Denver and I’ve been A LOT of Chinese restaurants in Colorado. My girl and I usually order wontons and coconut shrimp for apps but truly all the apps are great. Egg rolls are those small crispy ones you see on food channels, so good. For entrees we’ve tried orange chicken, sesame chicken, combo beef and chicken lo mein, buddah feast, and all the fried rices they offer and every single time it’s the best Chinese food we’ve had in Denver. Staff is great and they’re on it. Food comes out piping hot and you can tell it’s made with love. Truly a diamond in the rough.”

“I came in one hour before closing, hoping for a salmon onigiri. They were all out but offered immediately to make me a fresh one right then and there, and it was delicious! The edamame was also great, overall a very positive experience and I’m glad I found this spot!”

“The best dive bar! Sits right on Sloans Lake. People are a mix of bikers & wealthy millennials. Bathroom is a bizarre one person with a saloon door and no lock. Women were twerking at the bar. Pizzas are Digiorno but tasty. Odd little place that is amazing if you love a good dive bar!”

“A visited this location and got two pizzas 🍕. They come in 10 inch and was about $18. The pepperoni pizza was scrumptious with a buttery garlic glaze on the crust.
The 2nd pie was a Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza. It's was the 1st time my son ordered anything like it and deemed that pizza as his new found favorite pizza. (This is coming from a person that doesn't like to try new things)
I say if you don't know what to order from the many store options, you can't go wrong with Sloans. This Colorado pizza gets my approval, and the is coming from an east coast guy that eats Jersey,New York and Philly pizza. 👍🏽”
