From our very first meeting through the wedding day itself, their attention to detail was outstanding. The food was absolutely delicious, and we loved the way it was served in small batches—it never felt like a typical buffet, and everything stayed fresh and inviting. The butternut squash lasagna ended up being one of the biggest hits of the night, even among the most devoted meat lovers in our group!

The drinks were fantastic, and the staff brought such great energy and friendliness that they helped keep the celebration fun all night long.

“We were in town, Beaver Creek/Avon, for a family wedding and looking for a vegan-friendly place to eat. This quaint little cafe was absolutely perfect. I’m vegan and ordered the Raj, a black coffee, and a boozy brunch drink (the fizz). My hubby is vegetarian and ate the Lou’s scramble, a cold brew coffee, and a boozy brunch drink (the dude). We paid $60 + tip it came to about $75. Indoor and outdoor seating available as well as counter seating. Vegan bakery options as well. They also have smoothies, vegan cream cheese with bagel, vegan grilled cheese, and more. Dog friendly indoors and outdoors. Really adorable, in a cute little mountain town. A must try!“

“Been to this nice restaurant many times and it’s always first class. Tonight my wife’s chicken was excellent. The wine was great. However, the Manhattan steak was not so good. The one that was brought out was extremely tough and even hard to cut into. Our lovely server offered to bring out a new one but I said I would fight through it. To her credit, she insisted on bringing out a new one and I asked for it to be Medallion cut. The replacement came out and should have been medium rare, but when I laid out the cuts it was simply very rare to raw with lots of fat as well. I simply refused to eat it and told her to just take it off the bill. To my surprise the wonderful Manager Dana immediately came over and admitted that they failed on the steak. He explained that they usually get great cuts from the provider, but recently not so much and he actually called the owner and told him they simply can’t be offering this kind of steak as this was not the first bad cut he has seen this evening. Dana did not charge me for the steak as well as the wine and offered a free desert. Dana did exactly what I’d expect a Manager to do in this caliber of a restaurant and that alone makes me want to come back again whichever we will do so!“

“From the moment we entered, the staff was friendly and accommodating. We didn’t have reservations for dinner anywhere this evening and they were happy to squeeze us in. Famished from our active day and long search for a restaurant with availability, we were ready to get down to business. They had a few interesting options on their appetizer menu. We decided on the egg rolls and a couple of signature cocktails, which all came out pretty quick compared to the amount of time and care that was probably put into each. We had a hard time choosing entrees as we love pasta, cheese, and meat (who doesn’t??) but finally settled on the gnocchi and bolognese. Both great! So great that instead of stuffing ourselves of the large portion, we tried to stop so that we would have a meal-sized portion for leftovers. Keyword: tried. It was hard to stop eating! We managed to salvage some to enjoy later and our wonderful server Eliana (sp?) packed it up for us. Throughout the meal, our server came by, to check in and never let our water glasses come close to empty. They had some yummy donuts on display near the entrance. We commented on how adorable they were. The staff was quick to offer a few to us at no charge which was really nice. Sadly, we were just too full from our meal to accept. We didn’t partake this time, but we did see a number of people seemingly come in just to browse the wine and grab a bottle to take home. They had a pretty good selection. From the exceptional service to the decadent pasta dishes, we’re coming back for sure. How this place isn’t packed to the gills on a Saturday night, I have no idea! “Amazing food and the atmosphere is cozy and private. We have the Bruschetta Pomodoro, Ceasar salad and 2 different Veal dishes. All the food was delicious and fresh. Highly recommend giving them a try.“

“Dining at Joy Sushi was, without a doubt, one of the most incredible culinary experiences we’ve had, and not just in Vail, but anywhere. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a cozy vibe that made us feel right at home.

The sushi and sashimi were unbelievably fresh—each bite practically melted in our mouths. You could truly taste the quality and care that went into every piece. The rolls were not only beautifully presented but also incredibly creative. The combinations of flavors were thoughtfully crafted and balanced perfectly, and absolutely delicious.

We were especially impressed by how reasonably priced everything was, especially considering the high quality of the ingredients and the location in Vail. It felt like such a hidden gem, just a short drive from our hotel. We were so impressed after our first dinner that we came back again two nights later, and honestly, we would have gone all three nights if we hadn’t made other plans.

Joy Sushi has officially become a must-stop for us whenever we’re in town. It’s rare to find a restaurant that delivers such a consistent and exceptional experience across the board—from food to service to value. “Love hanging out at the George! Any season throughout the year is a good time here. Great selection of beers and the redbull slushies are great too. Bar service is quick even when they get a little busy. The food at this bar is top notch. My favorite go to is definitely the duck and mushroom quesadilla. Its a great snack if your really hungry or a decent meal if not! Ski season Après The George is the place to be. Find it down the stairs and enjoy some damn good food and drinks.“

“This is the best place to eat on the mountain. They are smoking the meat right there!

Great spot to stop in, warm up, and get some great BBQ. Get there before the lunch rush to make sure you get a seat. Tables by the windows have a beautiful view of the mountain. When the weather is warmer you can sit outside. They have picnic tables and lawn chairs.

Recommend the ribs, brisket, and Mac n cheese.“

“Wow, one of the best restaurants on Vail mountain! For starters, this restaurant blew my mind away, especially it being 2 miles high! The pulled pork was so tender, the ribs were some of the best that I have ever had, the sauce is the bomb, and the prices were reasonable for Vail! Pro tip, use your epic pass if you have it, it will save you a drastic amount of money!

Vegetarian options: This is a bbq, so there is not many veggie dishes

Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating for dietary restrictions!

Parking: In terms of ski parking, there are many racks outside to “park” your skis. However, you can’t drive up to here!

“I had one 5-star experience and one 2-star experience.

The 2-star experience was mostly awful service... We only got our first drinks around 2 mins before we were given the cheque. Food was delivered wrong. Only saw the server once until we complained after food was delivered.

5-star experience was amazing the server was the best I've had in years. Charismatic, helpful, attentive. Pizza with honey wasn't a good decision. But was great food for everyone else.“

“I asked the valet at our hotel who should we order pizza from, Local Joe's was his quick reply. The pies arrived hot and fresh, high quality ingredients, and the delivery guy was very nice. We also tried 5 of their sandwiches for lunch the next day, equally excellent. When in vail this is the place from which to get pizza or sub sandwiches. If you go for pickup or want a drink at their bar, don't let the older/small location fool you, it's got great people and wonderful food.“

“Our family of 4 ate at Sauce on the Creek a few nights ago and loved it! Our waiter Scott was wonderful and super attentive. The food was delicious! We started with the shrimp scampi, scallops Florentine, and fried ravioli, then ordered some house bread to dip in the sauces - yum! Kids had fettuccine alfredo and another order of fried ravioli, my husband had the spicy shrimp spaghetti, and I had the eggplant parm, which was some of the best I've ever had!
