“I got the teriyaki chicken to go. Very delicious. Affordable, quick, and easy. The egg rolls were good. I would recommend this place. Tuesday’s they have free delivery. I am not sure if that is for every location. I ordered from Oxford and Santa Fe.“

What was noted is how large the green tea mug is- that’s fantastic, and the bowl of edamame was also large. Minus a star reasoning- good food, quaint location, and friendly service, but nothing felt like “wow, I will brag about that meal”. And there are some sushi meals that I still think about today. So 4 is that’s it’s a good place to go, you’ll have really good meal, and it’ll be at the same cost of other places.“

“We love Kobe An and have been patrons going back 30 years since they were in Lakewood. Marco has done an amazing job with the new -er location and his staff is well trained. His newer sushi chefs are doing a fantastic job which leaves him free to focus more on the front of the house. We told him tonight that the sushi is the best it’s been in the 30 years we’ve been going to his restaurants. The hamachi and mussels were outstanding, as were the rolls and cocktails. The new Kobe An is the real deal.“

I come around probably once a week since I live nearby, so I can walk home after enjoying a small bottle of sake.
Today I tired the hand rolls and was shocked by the sheer size and how absolutely stuffed they were! Also, the sake nigiri pieces are larger than life and I am obsessed with their umami red snapper and the beautiful presentation of the amaebi, sweet shrimp. I always get multiple orders of ikura and leave stuffed!

“This is my favorite food place that I’ve visited since moving here to Denver. The ladies working here are very polite and helpful. The food tastes extremely delicious. I absolutely loved my chicken katsu bento as well as my miso soup and salad. Everything is flavorful, the food was prepared quickly to order, and at a very reasonable price. The atmosphere is extremely cozy, quaint and relaxing. Very quiet, calming place to enjoy a meal with a loved one. I highly recommend this establishment.“

“This is one of my favorite restaurants in Denver period. I’m Japanese and have eaten at every Japanese restaurant in Denver and I just keep coming back. This is a perennial, family run establishment that serves traditional Japanese food. Everything on the menu is great, and there’s a dish for everyone; if you’re looking for a reliable and affordable Japanese spot for lunch, this is it.

Don’t care for nor listen to the negative reviews regarding “slow” service or whatever else people are nitpicking. The family that runs the restaurant works really hard every single day, providing delicious food and great service. Not everything is perfect, but thats how I like it; the waitress is an older Japanese lady who works extremely hard alongside her family in the kitchen; it is disheartening to see negative comments from people who are unable to understand how much work it takes to run a restaurant.
