“This is a hidden gem for authentic Chinese! Came here for a solo lunch and there was a wide variety of food with all different proteins and great portions! The lamb dish I ordered was amazing! I enjoyed the friendly and attentive staff and casual atmosphere. It’s these kind of hole-in-the-wall finds that you know you’re getting the real deal!“

“Had an early dinner here with my wife while on our way to Vail. We each had chirashi and shared seaweed and cucumber salads. Everything was delicious - the fish, in particular, was of the highest quality. All in all it was a really good experience- we will certainly return next time we visit Vail.“

“Enjoyed the brunch buffet with family this past weekend. It was absolutely delicious. It is in competition with the buffet at Broadmoor in CO Springs. They had soooo many options and the food was fresh and felt healthy??? This is not country buffet. Not sure of price because my grandparents paid, but I think whatever it was it was worth it.“

“We grabbed a window seat at Mountain Standard and it was the perfect spot to take in the snowy afternoon. After a long flight, the warm pimento cheese appetizer paired with a drink hit the spot. Comforting and exactly what we needed. We come back every time we're in Vail, and it never disappoints. Great atmosphere, great food, and a perfect way to settle into the mountains. Highly recommend.“

“On the receipt it said our server was Raul. He was awesome and made an iced espresso that my girlfriend thought was much better than Starbucks. The coffee creation was on the house… even the second one. The breakfast was very good and priced fairly. Because of it all, left a little over 50% tip and happy. Well done.“

“Love hanging out at the George! Any season throughout the year is a good time here. Great selection of beers and the redbull slushies are great too. Bar service is quick even when they get a little busy. The food at this bar is top notch. My favorite go to is definitely the duck and mushroom quesadilla. Its a great snack if your really hungry or a decent meal if not! Ski season Après The George is the place to be. Find it down the stairs and enjoy some damn good food and drinks.“

“The bbq pizza was the best pizza I have ever had. The waiter was a little under par. He just wasn't as attentive to us as he was others. We ordered 2 beers he only brought one. And when we said we wanted 2. He had a attitude. But then apologized right before he brought the bill.“

“This little shop is an ice cream lover’s dream! The flavors of ice cream range from the trusted standby flavors like chocolate to the imaginative flavors of London fog, “oh nuts!” and Apple pie. Though our stomachs were too full to eat a sundae, we will be back to gobble one down, another day. Today, we tried a scoop of the butter pecan and salted cookies and cream. Both hit the spot! Scoop sizes are generous and staff are friendly.“

“We had a early reservation and we were able to talk with the servers and get their advice on the menu. One of our parties is Celiac and they were outstanding making sure she ordered gluten free and gave her options. Michelle Hersen was awesome.“

“Bully Ranch quickly became our absolute favorite restaurant in Vail — and we tried everything from the super trendy spots to the most expensive ones. The food here was amazing, the service was great, and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. Prices were also very reasonable compared to everything else we tried in town. We didn't repeat a single restaurant in Vail... except for Bully Ranch. That says it all! Highly recommend!“

“We stopped by the Fitz Bar + Bites after the concert at the amphitheater. They (Vail) were also hosting the Jazz Festival so they had an exceptional jazz improv going on. We snacked on cheese bites and other munchies while enjoyed the outstanding music. What a phenomenal weekend of talent, music and food.“

“Tavern on the Square is a 5-star gem! We visited twice in one day, first for breakfast and again for cocktails. The breakfast spread was incredible, with an amazing omelet station and an impressive pastry selection. Later, Neil crafted an incredible espresso martini that was the perfect pick-me-up. But what truly made our experience special was the exceptional service from Jay and Neil - they were warm, attentive, and made us feel like locals. If you're in Vail, do yourself a favor and stop by Tavern on the Square. Be sure to say hi to Jay and Neil, they'll make your day!“

“Me and my family visited Gessner last weekend for dinner while staying at Grand Hyatt. The ambiance is really nice, very classy with those mountain views, but the food was a bit hit and miss :(
We ordered the chicken breast, which I was really looking forward to. The meat quality was good, no doubt, but it was lacking that punch of flavor. it felt a bit bland, like they forgot to add something.
My wife got the pesto pasta, which was better, but still too dry for our liking. It had good flavor, but needed more sauce to make it perfect.
Service was excellent.
The presentation of dishes was nice, though, and the place is super clean and fancy.
Overall, it was above average.“

“QUICK REVIEW: Very nice Steakhouse in Vail, Great service. Solid 4.8 Stars. Recommend. Yes, we will be back. LONGER REVIEW: We have been to Elway's in Vail a number of times over the years, but it has been a while. Based on reviews, decided to give it a another try. SERVICE: Seated promptly at reservation time at a booth by request. Alejandra - our main server - was Awesome. She was there when you needed her, with a great attitude and advice. Nice job! FOOD and COCKTAILS. Had a "French martini" and a Glass of Red Blend. Wines by the glass were adequate, the wine list by the bottle is more extensive. #7 Salad to table share, Sea Bass prep, and Prime Ribeye. Loaded baked potato and Sweet corn for sides. All perfectly cooked, with a few take home boxes. All Very Tasty. The chocolate cake to share at the end - all gone. OVERALL: Elways always delivers for us. Highly recommend. Only downside was a couple of "fussy" babies in the dining room, but that was a minor distraction. YES, we would go back.“
