“I literally can’t believe how incredible the food was. This is what casual Chinese used to taste like back in the day. It was as if I was a child tasting boneless spare ribs and crab rangoon for the very first time.. The spare ribs were charred and tender and the rangoon was made with actual crab as opposed to the typical “crab flavored” cream cheese. The pork fried rice was also remarkably flavorful with large cubes of pork and perfectly cooked onion. Those who have complained about the food specifically must be miserable Karens. This is my new favorite casual Chinese spot. 10/10“

One dish was better than the last and you cannot get this quality anywhere locally as far as I've been to. Go for yourselves and enjoy. Very busy place since they’re closed to Yale New Haven Hospital but they manage to serve your food fresh all the time and no more than 20 minutes wait. Best Lobster sauce combination, with Tostones! “I will never get Chinese food anywhere else! My family and I have tried every Chinese food place around North Haven. Most of them, the food is soggy, cold when we get it, not cooked right, etc. Until we found this place. It’s tucked away behind BAR pizza and we never even knew it was there! Our order everytime is chicken and broccoli spicy, general tso’s chicken not spicy, and crab rangoons. everytime the food is fresh and flavorful, everyone there is so nice and the place is beyond clean. “We love our Chinese food! I will say I agree with other reviews about the rude woman taking orders, but we will deal with that for his delectable food. Wah Chun was a gift in our mailbox from heaven. Some of the specials (please please please put coconut shrimp back on the menu!!) Were no longer available, but what was absolutely amazing. Sweet and Sour Chicken was obviously fried right before delivery. Hot & crispy. Hunan specials, to die for, General Tso, hot, fresh, and delishious. Boneless spareribs were hot, fresh & tender. Combination plates were great & gave kids two choices & an egg roll. We obviously spent close to 100 dollars, but it was so worth saving up to get it. Call restaurant directly and order delivery from their delivery. Driver is wonderful,really fast & kind. We can't wait to try other things. All I haven't said is " Yum"“

Everything tasted very high quality 👌👌however, my one criticism would be that each dish had a little bit too much of one quality- the soup noodle was a little bit too sour and takes getting used to, the other noodle was a bit dry, and the cucumbers were very refreshing but a bit too sweet for me. “I saw this place in East Haven ai was out for a bike ride. I’ve been craving Chinese food and haven’t found my go to spot yet. I ordered shrimp in lobster sauce and tofu with mixed vegetables. Both came with rice, and my total was about $28. There’s enough food for three or four meals. I’d definitely go back! My only complaint is that they don’t deliver to my area, but none of the Chinese places nearby seem to

“First I want to apologize In my several years of writing Google reviews I never skipped photos of the food but the food here was so amazingly good I just ate four servings of orange chicken! When I finally stopped I realized I ate everything before I took any pictures! Lol. I'm born and raised in Chicago and ate some of the most authentic and tasty Chinese food outside of China in our designated "China town" I have been up until now bitterly disappointed in all the Chinese restaurants in the entire state of Connecticut. The broccoli was tender and crisp and deliciously fresh. The orange chicken had REAL pieces of orange peel. Oh so slightly spicy but I don't eat anything spicy so most people would not have any issues with the spice level. It was simply PERFECT. The Crab Rangoon was the best I ever had and I have eaten in China town of both Chicago and San Francisco! This is the Only place I would even consider eating Chinese food in the entire state of Connecticut. I feed 3 hungry adults for $45 including tax and have some leftovers in the fridge for tomorrow.“
