“We were early for our ferry and looking for a bite. My partner grabbed a grandma slice with fresh mozzarella and a vodka martini in a frosty glass. I got a cold antipasto, which wasn’t on the menu but they were very happy to oblige. Service was swift and friendly and the prices were reasonable. I took my salad to eat on the way to Pt. Jeff. Great place. Everything from the bread to the gelato is made in house.”

“We originally had a reservation across the street, but it turned out that they were actually closed so we ended up at Bank Sports Bar and are we ever glad we did! We were looking for a place to stop to get beers and a bite to eat before attending a concert nearby. When we walked in there were more than 65 in the bar and the vibe was exactly what we needed. Quickly we noticed there was one bartender behind the bar - ut oh. Right? Nope. Britt was truly amazing and this place is lucky to have her. We never went without a drink; she was attentive and kind. Turns out there was one person in the kitchen, too - AJ. Our food came out delicious and hot. All of the respect to these two. We hope to be back soon!”

“Last night we were there for an early Birthday dinner for me! It's been a long time since we've dined at Ralph 'n' Rich's, but I will say that our food was delicious, & the service was superb! Brittany was our server, & she was awesome! I can't recall our busboy's name but he was great with bringing bread to our table, & refilling our water glasses as needed. I had the baby arugula salad special to start, & it was so tasty & the perfect beginning before having an old favorite of mine, linguine with white clam sauce. My hubby really enjoyed the Spiedina Romano which is a kicked up mozzarella appetizer that if he fully polished it off, he wouldn't have ate his Chicken Piccata then tangerine sorbet afterwards! Don't worry, we brought home leftovers to enjoy! Topping off things was a surprise singing of "Happy Birthday" when my tartufo came out! Reservations are strongly recommended especially for dinner, but Ralph 'n' Rich's is a gem that's had staying power in Downtown Bridgeport for many years. Go there & enjoy!”

“I can't speak for in person service since I only ever get delivery, but the good here is so good.
The tortillas have a chokehold on me. They're so soft and light.
The vegetarian options are excellent. I love the black bean tacos.
They even have a soft+hard double shell option, which is fantastic.

“Just went tonight and grabbed 2 chicken platters to go with my fiancé. The employees were wonderful. Beyond kind and personable. The food I don’t have words for. I didn’t take a photo due to being over excited but the portions are more than fair for what you pay. The hot sauce is VERY hot for me personally but I like it. The salata that comes with the entree is so fresh and tasty. The chicken is perfectly cooked - tender and seasoned deliciously. Even the rice is a masterpiece. We also highly recommend the pakora chips! They’re crispy on the outside, nice and soft on the outside, seasoned, and made fresh to order. We were even told by the staff that we were welcome to sit and make ourselves comfortable while we waited for the chips since they are made to order but our food was done so fast we barely had a chance to! We’re not done eating but we’ve already agreed this will be our Saturday night go to. For 2 people getting 2 platters and a side of pakora chips it was just $30. You’d spend more per person getting dinner from any other restaurant around.”

“First, to call SOB a hidden gem would be doing it a disservice, per all the five-star reviews! The better term is off the beaten path, but undoubtedly worth a purposeful trip. I am admittedly a bit of a sandwich snob, and Michelle's porchetta special did NOT disappoint. As a matter of fact, she was so genuinely charming and sincere in her description of it, that all three of us ordered the exact same thing, and the full-size grinder at that. This was a BIG sandwich, even by my standards, and the components were all top-notch. Somehow, the meat was still juicy and tender, even sliced thin and griddled on the flat top. The provolone was melted nicely, and the marinated peppers had just enough bite to balance the richness. She gave us a cup of au jus for dipping as well, which was greatly appreciated. Taste and value aside, Michelle may just be the start of the show. Her hospitable kindness and welcoming spirit made the food even better, to the effect that we were already planning our next visit before we even left. SOB is the real deal, thanks again Michelle, BPT is lucky to have you!”

There is street parking and it is to order and go. The people were very nice and patient as we decided what we wanted. The food area looked clean and they were also cooking in the back, bringing fresh food to the front.”

I saw the attendant acting really awkwardly... laughing all the time like she was sort of into "something"... the situation was chaotically embarrassing cos around 8 people were waiting for their orders and she was practically just walking from one side to the other laughing and trying to call attention to herself. I curiously approached the counter and noticed that my order (along with others) were just standing at the counter for a long time and nobody bagged them nor called my number to let me know it was ready... 😳... my chicken was already cold... 😡. That was my only bad experience so far cos all the other times never have I had any problem. The chicken and everything else are really good but sometimes the service sucks.”

“By far the best diner I've been to, I had their triple Cheese Burger (Medium Rare) with fries. They cooked the burger exactly how I asked for it and the fries were both soft and crunchy, I also ordered disco fries and they were phenomenal. The staff was kind and made sure everything was all right with my order, and paying the bill was easy cuz they let you do it with a QR code and you can pay through that instead of having to actually like wait and pay or pay at the cash register in front. All in all an excellent experience and I'm definitely going to go back again.”
