“We hosted my daughter‘s bridal shower at J Law and it was everything we hoped for. Clara, Megan, and the entire team were attentive, kind, and incredibly helpful throughout the day. The private event space was ideal, spacious, welcoming, and flexible enough for us to personalize with our own decor. The food was delicious. The service was top-notch and the atmosphere made everyone feel at home. I wouldn’t hesitate to return for another celebration. “Wife and I went out to dinner and as usual food was on point. Base menu is always good and they always have a seasonal menu of great options. I tried the smoked old fashion and it was a home run. They put on the whole show and smoked the drink right at the table. Definitely not a disappointment. They always have seasonal drinks and come up and ask how they were. Lots of care in the food and drinks they put on the menu.“

“To start with, I love the thick menu! I love that they give the back stories on the local products/farms they use. And the plethora of options make certain that both my husband and I can find something we like no matter what we're in the mood for. It's also nice to go to a restaurant that has more than the same 6 things everybody else has and to know those items are made with locally sourced products. I can end with a cupcake made from scratch which also supports another small business instead of something premade from the same manufacturer everyone sources their desserts from. It's a win for me!“

“My hubby took me here for a breakfast date this morning, and they did not disappoint. The French toast was made perfectly. It was crisp in all the right places, tasted like butter, vanilla, and cinnamon, all the right things. And the hashbrowns were absolutely delicious! Whatever you are doing, keep that up! The service was awesome, the server was very pleasant and kind. It is nice to see a genuine smile when out and about. I am taking my daughter to lunch in the upcoming weeks. Thank you again!“

“We weren't sure what to expect, but BOY, WERE WE BLOWN AWAY. We'll definitely be back. A few things to hightlight: Eileen was most hospitable and a gracious host for our dining experience. The food was remarkable. So fresh from the appetizer to dessert. We went at 5pm so it was on the quiet side, just the way we like it. They open at 5pm for now, but I did see a sign that they must have been open for lunch at one point.
Location is incredibly convenient, right off 7 and parking was ample. Winter just ended and Spring is springing, and I can only imagine the grounds when it's not Winter. Really pretty and I was most impressed with the variety of lamps, inside and out. Worth the drive and worth the visit. Bonus, BULL'S BRIDGE Covered Bridge right across the street. “My husband and I tried Bora Restaurant for the first time last night. It was excellent!! The food was delicious, the decorations were beautiful, the atmosphere was warm and cozy, all of the staff that we encountered were young but surprisingly all so very well mannered, polite and very nice!! Our waiter was Alton, he did a wonderful job and always addressed my husband as Sir. We would definitely recommend this restaurant!!“

“Applebee never disappointed me. First I was taken away with the ambience , the music was playing soft and no loud noise. I love the variety of stuff you can choose from and the various combos they had to offer. The steak was really nice and I enjoyed every bit of it. My long island ice tea drink was amazing. I own a business in Danbury and I tell all my customers and friends whenever there is a sporting event going on let’s go to chilis to watch. The manager Brett is always so welcoming and makes my party and I feel like family everytime. I will be a returning customer for as long as I live in Connecticut!“
