“The staff is so sweet, the atmosphere is sophisticated for an AYCE, and the food is simply divine! I really prefer the airy and light peaceful interior here compared to other dingy and dark AYCE places. There’s nothing better than peacefully sipping hot green tea during lunchtime. Something small would be replacing the black window blinds with some nice light curtains. But high quality fresh sushi and sashimi should be the main focus”

“This is a wonderful Black owned family restaurant and bar. The food, drinks and service are very good and the atmosphere has a warm and inviting vibe. There is Comedy Night on Thursdays and a DJ and Karaoke on Fridays. The entertainment is top notch in this safe venue where the mature can relax and enjoy themselves comfortably. I love going to this restaurant.”

The steaks were cooked perfectly and they were so tender! We also got 2 apps, that were so full of flavor and the octopus was maybe the most tender I have ever had anywhere. So excited to have this gem in walking distance in the Spring Glen neighborhood!”

“We’ve visited Sushi Palace twice now, and each time has been great! It’s actually the first place we ever tried all you can eat sushi, and we still think their quality is some of the best. They don’t overload the rice on the rolls, and the fish is always fresh. Prices are very reasonable, and there’s something for everyone on the menu. Definitely in our rotation of good all you can eat sushi spots!”

“We just hosted a baby shower at Cafe Amici and can’t rave enough about them! The staff was exceptional, helpful and so kind. The food was also outstanding! Our event was buffet style and they made sure we never ran out of any options while keeping the food hot and delicious. Lindsay was especially lovely and cheerful, you’d think she was just as excited to be there as we were! We will absolutely be back!”

“I go every day to get coffee from my faves, Shelia and Camille! The Chai is my go-to, but I sometimes get a Caramel Macchiato from them if I need some more caffeine. Only issue is they always run out of bagels and pastries by around 11am and I'm lucky if I can get anything like that later on. Probably the best dining hall station on campus, but go early if you wanna get something to eat. They need to get more food inventory.”

“The best Grilled Chicken “Panino” I have ever had!! Flavors were delicious. A light sandwich that didn’t make you feel like a load after you ate it. The bread was soft and fluffy. The chicken was cooked perfect. Just a great sandwich!! Couldn’t out it down once I took a bite so the picture is after I inhaled it ☺️”

“Just grabbed a pizza and wings from Star Pizza, and I couldn't be happier. The pizza was exactly how I like it—crispy crust, just the right amount of toppings—and the wings were spot-on. What really stood out was the customer service. The young man at the front desk was super respectful and kind, and he went out of his way to make sure everything was just right. Definitely planning to come back soon!”

“I ordered a few trays of cookies for a party I was hosting. I called, a little flustered because I was feeling very last minute. I explained how many people I was hosting and that I didn’t know what or how many to order. They were unbelievably patient with me and told me they would take care of it. And did they ever!!!! Freshly baked, beautifully presented, and SO DELICIOUS! I was thrilled. Guests impressed. Delightful variety. I will be back and I highly recommend you check them out!!!”

“The new owners have added some new items that made me really excited to try this place. We loved the butterfly pea syrup added to the lychee lemonade! The color change is really fun to watch. This place gets SLAMMED on the weekends so a 20-30 min wait is pretty reasonable for a place with a line wrapped around the building. The food was so tasty and fresh and we loved the maple butter with our chicken and waffles. Its such a close spot to both the bike trail and Sleeping Giant so we'll definitely be stopping by after our next adventure.”

“This was my first time at Wentworth’s, and I’m so glad a friend recommended it—especially because they offer dog-friendly ice cream! It was my pup’s 8th birthday, and I couldn’t find a place that felt special enough until I heard about Wentworth’s. The team at the counter was amazing—so friendly, helpful, and genuinely excited when they heard it was her big day. My dog devoured her birthday treat (tail wags of approval!), and my mom and I were equally impressed. She had the chocolate chip raspberry and I had the peanut butter Oreo—both were absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich, creamy, and just hit the spot. We left with full hearts and full stomachs. We’ll definitely be back very soon. Thanks, Wentworth’s, for making our celebration so sweet!”

We always get ours to-go, but the restaurant has a decent amount of inside tables to eat that are clean. Nice cool air conditioning for a hot day. They also have tables outside. Our go-to spot for poke in Hamden.”

We didn’t have to worry about a thing on the day—they coordinated directly with our venue, and the cake was there waiting for us when we arrived. Highly recommend!”

“There's a good amount of parking in their lot that runs alongside the Farmington Trail. There's indoor and outdoor seating available. Inside is comfortable, with a diner atmosphere in a well maintained and clean restaurant. The food is very good with reasonable sized servings at good prices. Definitely will be back!”

Half of it is plenty to fill even the biggest appetite. I will definitely order from here again!”
